I've never actually hit image limit on 8chan, I'm not sure that there is on.

As for post limit, that isn't quite right. Mods can make threads cyclical, which means that you can continuously post in the same thread, but when it gets close to the limit, it'll automatically prune the oldest replies.

Custom board/user CSS is pretty powerful, take a look at /8gag/, it looks waaaaaaaaay different from the default Yotsuba B theme.

Thread gets locked here around 750 posts, but I would like to have limit way lower and mainly set the image limit so we could change the threads faster instead of being in one thread for over 700 posts. And bump limit is pretty useless since we use only one active thread so there is no risk of it getting removed by other threads.

There is a way, but there is also a problem with the way image is wrapped inside the top part of the post, making it significantly more obnoxious to change the order of name part, file part and body part and I am not even sure if it's possible as I wasn't digging deeper than that.

Yeah, unfortunately, I don't think you can change when threads lock, I'm only aware of being able to change the bump limit.

8chan, (unfortunately? it depends on how you look at it, from what I've seen, less active boards/websites tend to be of higher quality), isn't as fast as 4chan.

I was @requiring jQuery, but it turns out 8chan already uses jQuery, so I ended up with a duplicate copy which broke stuff

It even quite resembles foolfuuka and the only change that needs to be done is with posts arrangement and post form, which is quite impossible without javascript at least.
