I've never actually hit image limit on 8chan, I'm not sure that there is on.
As for post limit, that isn't quite right. Mods can make threads cyclical, which means that you can continuously post in the same thread, but when it gets close to the limit, it'll automatically prune the oldest replies.

And bump limit is pretty useless since we use only one active thread so there is no risk of it getting removed by other threads.
