Questions and Answers about /ttgg/
Not sure if this is worthy of a thread, so feel free to delete if not, but I figured a lot of anons would come here with some general questions like myself, so…1. What happens to threads after they reach the image or reply limit? Do we have a set number of pages of threads that will be kept?
2. In the same vein, are image reposts allowed? If not, what happens once we've gone through several sets of threads and all of our /ttgg/ related reaction images and content has already been posted?
3. Is there any possibility for an archive of sorts? One of the best parts of /ttgg/ being on /vg/ was the fact all of the threads were archived, saving a lot of the best moments. Obviously, this would only be needed if threads begin to 404 after a certain period of time.
It's become apparent to me that I'm not able to separate my personal feelings and discomfort towards certain topics and be a competent moderator. I'm leaving now, I hope the other mod does a better job than I was able to. I'm sorry if anyone felt like I had split the community apart, that was never my intention. I made this board when people were threatening to leave /ttgg/ forever because of NFA, and I thought if I made somewhere people felt more comfortable then nobody would have to leave. I don't think we can ever go back to how we were when season 2 of twdg first started, and regardless of my intentions and hopes this community is splintered. I never meant to cause any trouble or frustration. I hope eventually either everyone is united on one board, or at least is able to get along. I have trouble articulating so I hope you are all able to understand my regret and guilt. I hope none of you hold any ill-will towards me, I really do love /ttgg/ and I don't think I could have enjoyed the games TellTale put out this much without you all.

The first thing I want to ask you guys is, do you want to know who I am? Because I'm pretty sure you guys don't know who I am, and I'm not sure if you guys want to know, now that I'm the only moderator here.
Keep in mind that once you know who I am, you can' forget, or otherwise "unremember" it. So think carefully before you answer "yes".

On the other hand I LOVE the walking dead games, it's one of my favorite TTG and now I am hyped as shit for this one.
Why won't this game be just like the walking dead game, free from the shackles of the original book and TV series? I think we should think about it the same way we did about TWD, that it will be in the same world, but have completely different characters and story.

Tales from the Borderlands
So, I just got done reading an article on the game ( http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/09/25/the-extremely-deep-hidden-theme-of-borderlands?page=1 ) and it mentioned TftBL. I figure I would post it here see what /ttgg/ thinks on the issue.The part of it that relates to /ttgg/:

And that sort of evolved into them wanting to tell a story, and as I’ve said, we’re constantly looking for opportunities for other developers to come and play in the Borderlands universe. We have a big, huge, rich universe, and it’s designed to support different kinds of mediums, it’s designed to support big comic books and other games. So, in many ways, Tales from the Borderlands was one of the most important games of all the Borderlands games because […] this is a great opportunity for us to let that aspect of our universe shine. And as I’ve said, we teamed up with the best storytellers in the entire videogame industry to do that. So that’s pretty nice.

Like, Telltale or 2K Australia. When you work with them, they come in and they think they know the universe because they see what all the public sees, and [then] we explain to them what’s really going on in the universe – you know, the things that the public doesn’t know about. Generally speaking, a lot of the story ideas they have suddenly fall apart, but they get very, very excited because it’s a lot richer than it may appear at the surface. That’s when we get into some really fun, cool things.
>The other thing is, the people working on the game have to believe in and care about what they’re doing. You have to give them some freedom. If they don’t feel like it’s theirs, if they don’t feel some sense of ownership, they’re not going to do their best work. So when Telltale comes in and they have some ideas to do things that are pretty radical and extreme and very Telltale-ish with our characters, they immediately think we’re going to say no – and we don’t. We work with them on that, and it’s really fun. I give everyone as much freedom as I can to bring their vision to the shared vision of Borderlands.

Just imaging him hiking through the woods, the wind in his hair, his trusty machete with him. As he walks through the woods, the ladies swoon at his very scent. They know how he smells, the essence of his smell is sold under the the name of "Greenblood Orgasm." The very nature of Luke is mystery. Could he be playing a deeper game than even his creator realizes? The answer is yes, he has transcended such boundaries as the written world, and has free will to do whatever he sees fit. However, Luke is filled with such guile, such arcane craft that he does not even use these powers. Why, you might ask? You will never know, for the mind of the Lukester is not one that is easily penetrated. Luke is such a force of nature in his realm that nothing can truly touch him, the only thing keeping him bound to the game at all is his will to exist within the preordained boundaries of his world. Luke is not only beyond the comprehension of us, he exists within a plane of true focus and beauty. Observe his playful smile, his gorgeous and rippling biceps, his gallant nose, and most importantly, his eyes. His eyes, like pools of saffron, provide the only glimpse into the true machinations of Luke. Do not stare into them. Many good men have gone mad in the attempt. Luke is not just a character, a formless collection of Voice acting and character model, he is himself is the binding that holds the saga together. Without Luke, the entire series, the entire world of the walking dead as we know it crumbles. Clementine would die without Luke, Kenny would kill himself, and the game wouldn't even exist without his frosty gaze.
These are just a few of the reasons why I like Luke so much.
