Halfchan gets another thread and all of a sudden this place dies? Hardly anybody posting in the halfchan thread anyway.

Nah, this place usually isn't very active at this time of day. Especially now that classes have started up again.

It's a shame it wasn't more lively today.

Please don't say that. I really, really don't want them to come back.

iPhones do this thing where they don't actually rotate the image if you take it portrait mode, they just set a little flag in the jpeg file that your browser is ignoring.

Who said I've retired? I post OP's every now and again I just don't name them the same anymore because I don't want people to know I'm doing it. I don't know why I'm bothering to tell you this.

You don't need to justify yourself to him. He's gone now.

By the way, where can I find the transparent version of the TTGG logo thing? I had to hurriedly crop it out of an old image for this OP, but if I ever need to make an OP again, I'd like to have the original.

One anon brought up an interesting topic during last night's drama that I want to discuss today.

What do you think Wellington is like? Are those stones outside the walls grave markers? If so, why would they bury their dead so close to the walls?

 No.12158

>>12157
Shit, I never noticed that before. If they're burying their dead that close to the base it must be so that the people visiting the graves will be within sight of the compound.

 No.12159

>>12157
They could also be primitive traps, placed there to trip oncoming walkers.

 No.12160

>>12158
But wouldn't burying your dead so close to where you sleep and eat be bad for morale? Even small towns in the old west would have their graveyards a few miles out of town.

I think it could mean that the surrounding area is very treacherous, much more infested with walkers than other areas because of the large number of humans in the area.

>>12159
Mm, that's possible. I hadn't thought of that.

 No.12161

>>12155
Lurking, but not super regularly, like once a week or so.
>>12156
Sadly, you will probably continue to miss me because I don't think my activity will really increase much. Or if it does I don't plan on ever posting any of my TWD.png pics again cause I'm sick of people calling me faggot and shit like that.

 No.12162

>>12161
So you won't even know its me.

>>12157
We do know that they have a lot of supplies, but limited space, and that they might be planning to expand. Given how generous they are, I would assume that they have a fairly steady supply of water and food. Most likely fish, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had some livestock or poultry around. The community is probably really big, considering how well known they are. There is also a hierarchy, seeing as how Edith had to ask someone for permission to let Clem and AJ in, though if they have one leader or several is still unknown. They seem really humane, but that might fuck them over. There doesn't seem to be a selection process about who gets to join. It's first come, first serve, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are some sketchy as fuck people lurking about in there.

But yeah, most of it is completely unknown at this point.

If those are graves, it's possible that they just like to remember the fallen. They don't have the luxury of traveling a certain distance with a corpse after all. They probably don't stray very far from the walls in general.

Wonder if there are any actual buildings in there. Seems doubtful considering they are in a middle of nowhere. Probably a bunch of trailers, vehicles and camps.

That's a shame. As much as I hate how adamant you are about keeping the halfchan thread alive, I do like having you here. By the way, how do you feel about me being the board owner now?

>>12164
Yeah, I don't think anybody who hates OPanon comes here, but if the halfchan thread stays dead they might. Or not.

>>12165
Now I wish I had that pic of Lee getting blown by Kenny.

Well they've got some pretty high walls so I think it's possible there may be some 1 story homes and shacks in there, anything bigger is unlikely. It's probably a shantytown.
The main gate there is made up of cargo containers and they've got a crane, so it's possible that they built Wellington in an existing shipping yard. Otherwise moving those cargo containers and the crane there would be very difficult and attract a lot of attention from both walkers and humans. They had to have been there already.

And it will. It's only got 27 posts and no images, and moot has stepped down as admin of 4chan (thank god)
Prepare for a third 8chan exodus.

I can see you are facing the same problems I faced. Damned if you do, and damned if you don't. All you have to do is start calling people faggots, and telling them to fuck off, and then you've really handled the situation like I would.

But really, you did a good job. Grats on being the board owner.

If you're referring to last night's situation, this wasn't the case.
Only one person besides NFA voted against banning NFA. There was no "damned if you do", it was just "damned if you don't."

Why there had to be such debate over banning NFA of all people is beyond me.
