I dunno, maybe it's because of the model. The SFM model always looks a little off… but that might just be me.

So… Terminus was offering shelter but then killed and robbed everyone who turned up?

I missed you by the way.

 No.13750

>>13744
Yeah, the people in Terminus posted signs all over the area promising shelter and food. They brought them in and put on a facade of wanting to help the survivors, then imprisoned and slaughtered them when they least expected it.

Rick's group had the advantage of having been split up, and Rick recognized some of his people's clothing and accessories in Terminus, when they had no reason to be there.

I wonder how the St. Johns planned on getting a constant "supply". They really only came across Lee's group by chance.

>>13747
Often in animations I have to remove Clem's sleeves due to clipping problems, which throws some people off. That could be it.

 No.13751

>>13750
The St Johns were on a small scale operation, they were opportunists. They had those modified traps, like the one that gets that school teacher. They mostly relied on food from the farm, but took what human meat they could get. Terminus was using it as their main food source as they lacked any kind of farm or sustainable food source.

I didn't even notice the sleeve thing, but regardless that's not what I'm talking about.

 No.13752

>>13751
Oh yeah I forgot about the traps.
Not sure how much good they'd do honestly, since it's much more likely to either trap walkers, or trap a person and get them killed by walkers.

The animation is probably a bit off. I try to make it look as natural as possible, but that's extremely difficult. Another thing is that Clem looks directly at you, which is a bit jarring since we're used to seeing her from behind the 4th wall. Nothing's perfect, I guess.

 No.13753

>>13752
They probably haven't been doing the whole killing people for food thing for longer than a few months, so they wouldn't have perfected the "art" yet.

I'm not sure if you're being really naive or what, but that's not the reason why it looks off. Do I need to spell it out for you?

 No.13754

>>13753
I'm being naive, but I get it now. Guess I'm not thinking straight today.

There is nothing wrong with a daughter giving her dad a peck on the cheek, but I agree, her body language and expression make the webm weird and imply other feelings.

 No.13756

>>13754
If you trap someone, they'll make a lot of noise and will get killed by walkers. Other than babysitting the traps, there's no real way to do it. You would have to bring people to you and trap them yourselves. This problem is the same for hunting for animals, walkers will get anything alive or making noise.
>>13755
Yep. Though that first thing won't ever happen considering her real parents are rotting in the streets of Savannah.

Well, I guess my "headcanon" is that Clem decided she wanted to give you a kiss and was planning it all day. She's all worked up because of that, nothing more.

Kissing is one of the earliest forms of affection a child learns even before hugs.

>>13758

Why would she be "worked up" to show her care giver affection?
It's implying completely different emotions. That's what I see in the animation or her expression at least.

What happened to Tae?

>mfw she insulted Lilly once

 No.13767

>>13764
>Why would she be "worked up" to show her care giver affection?
Well, when I requested it I meant for it to be a purely father/daughter kiss, so that's how I interpret it. I see where you're coming from with the whole "different emotions" thing, but I think it could be explained away as just, she's never kissed anyone before.

To make a long story short, too late, a massive shitstorm happened one day. NFA was shitposting, people wanted him banned, but by the time I had actually done it, Tae had already decided she wanted to leave. She took down all her Pixiv art and made her blog password protected. We'll probably never hear from her again.

 No.13770

Not the same anon, but she did ship adult Clem/Kenny. It wasn't a secret, but at the same time was aware that many people didn't share her feelings about it, hence the blog she made. As she said herself, she didn't want to shove her art in people's faces.

>789

I'm not sure how long she's been around, but she first posted her art adult(as in grown-up) Clem art on halfchan. That was months back, just after No Going Back was released. She didn't have a trip then.

Anyways, question: assuming she's in her early teens, how capable do you think Clem will be in S3?

I'd like to think they tone her down from "absurdly competent, omnipotent zombie-killing machine" and make her more believable and relatable, but still be above her peers in her abilities as a survivor, as well generally more intelligent and mature. Which Wich is pretty good in terms of fast food though. I prefer it to Subway, and I think Clem would really like their ordering system. Basically, you write your order on a brown paper bag which they hang up on a little wire, and you can see it go down the line as they prepare it. There's suspension of disbelief, and then there's just straight-up bullshit. Christa and Lilly meeting up after literal years of being apart, and then Clem running into them? That would just be offensively bad.

>What if he did something absolutely unforgivable in your Clem's eyes?

I think if pushed to such extremes, she might do it. This person would have to be an absolute monster though, basically inhuman. But if this person had any shred of humanity left in him, my Clem would probably spare him.

>>13900

Even though Wellington is such a huge refuge, I don't think it's very likely to meet old characters there. Christa is the one exception to this obviously, but we left Lilly behind in Georgia. It's a real stretch to think she'd find her way all the way to Ohio.

I think Clementine's change in character was a bigger problem. Episode one had her as capable, but still dependent on others, but by episode 2 she's already more competent than any of the adults and being asked to do things no child would realistically be asked to do.

I imagine the TTG forum is full of fanboys that see no flaws in S2, right?

I stopped posting on TTGF sometime after episode 5 was released because it became full of Jane and Arvofags. And even when I did post there I mainly stuck to the fanart and meme threads because that place is cancer.

 No.13991

Fairly sure the answer is around the mid-point of Episode 2. It wasn't much of a drop, but a very steady decline as the adults starting treating Clem as a fully capable adult, mainly starting with when Luke brought Clem with him to scout out the bridge. But at around Ep3 it went off a damn cliff in terms of quality.

I really don't understand how Jane came to be so important. She was never really interesting. She was literally Molly 2.0 complete with a dead little sister.
Then they had to make her Lilly in terms of being the anti-Kenny. Why can't Kenny ever but heads with a dude? Sure there was some verbal arguments with Luke, but Luke was a pussy.

>>13995
I had a BIG issue with Clem going with Luke.
Carlos, Alvin, and Nick were all perfectly capable of going with Luke to scout. I mean, if any logical human being were in that situation, they'd chose one of those three, but I get that this is a game and Clem is the player, so she needs to do stuff, but staying behind to have a quick moment to get to know the remaining people would've been welcomed.

Her death wouldn't have been so stupid if they had a real reason to kill her. For example, if Carlos didn't randomly die in Episode 3 from a lucky shot, her death could have been used to throw him over the edge. He spent the entire game being the calm and collected voice of reason, only to get killed off.

 No.14003

No, I think they had something with Carlos' sudden death and Sarah's reaction to it. She was such a fragile little girl, and to have no time to grieve her own dad's death was a very good way to thrust her into the reality of the ZA. TTG just didn't explore it enough.

I dunno if it's too obvious, but I have a raster version (made of dots like >>14027) of the letter "D" found on Clem's hat hung up on my window so you can see it from outside.
