I guess this is the best I can do for Valentine's Day. Clementine reading a letter while wearing a heart hat.
I don't know why I find the idea of Clem having a hat for every occasion so adorableI tried to take a picture of the drawing on the counter directly from above, but the shadows got in the way, so I stood it up against the wall and snapped the pic. As you can tell, the paper began to droop and caused the drawing itself to look a little warped, like her head looking too big and such.

Before I go to bed, I will try to stir up some TWD discussion. (sorry I can't bring up TftB or GoT discussion, I've played neither.)
Create and describe the personalities of at least 4 characters you hope to see in S3. They can be returning characters, like Nate or Lily, or ones you come up with on your own. Describe what you hope these characters "bring to the table" in terms of group dynamic, plot, drama, etc.
I look forward to reading what you guys come up with when I get to work.
>>14755>DJ approves lewd ClemIt doesn't bother me. In fact, I find the lewdanon(s?) quite entertaining with their comeback posts and such. I just don't like how it has the potential to divide the community and degrade into shitposting. As far as being sexually attracted to Clementine: I have never really been sexually attracted to fictional characters, and at the end of the day, that's just what Clem is. It just doesn't work for me. I only find real women sexy (I'm a fucking weirdo, I know). I have drawn a fairly large amount of lewd for commissions, requests, or just for the hell of it, but my mind just doesn't spark up arousal when it comes to animated/2D/fictional porn. It's not for me.
Sorry for the blogpost. I'll be heading for bed now.

No.14761

No.14762
>>14756>>14758Alright, so first I'd like to see Christa return. A reunion with her would make much more sense than the one with Kenny, and I'd like to see how her somewhat strained relationship with Clem would change in light of the time they spent apart. Christa could tell some harrowing tale about how Winston's group captured her and maybe did some terrible things to her in retribution for Winston's death, which might add to the beef Christa has with Clem. Or perhaps Christa may have forgiven Clem for Omid's death by then, who knows. This was something that we were never given a chance to explore in the few moments we played as young Clem in S1.
As
>>14757 said, the 400 days characters are already fleshed out a bit and it'd be stupid for TTG to ignore them completely, although we don't want
too many returning characters. Vince seems like a pretty likely candidate to have escaped the horde at Howe's, and the theme of a convicted criminal trying to gain the trust of others in their group which was explored in S1 with Lee would probably be equally interesting seen from the other side (i.e. not being the PC). You'd be able to see people talking behind his back about how he killed a guy before the ZA, and you could choose whose side to take. Clem could draw parallels between him and Lee, pointing out how Lee atoned for his crime in taking care of her, or she could see through Vince's little story and believe he hasn't changed a bit.
As for original characters, someone like Bill from Left 4 Dead would probably also be pretty interesting: an old Vietnam war veteran who knows his way around guns, but is also a bit old and weak and may need help at close range. The war veteran angle would allow TTG to explore some parallels between the war and the ZA. PTSD from the war could come together with the horrors of the ZA to create an incredibly unstable character
with a good reason to be like that. I may be taking too much inspiration from L4D for this, but maybe this character could sacrifice himself somewhere along the line for the good of the group, citing his age and deteriorating physical and mental condition as reasons. As far as I can recall, Kenny is the only one who has tried this kind of "going out with a bang" strategy, and he survived so its impact was lessened somewhat. Plus, it really wasn't for the good of the group, it was more for his own sake.
Finally, I'd like to see a federal aid worker of some sort, like someone who worked at FEMA or whatever the equivalent is (I think TTG invented their own government organization, but I don't recall its name). The CDC angle was already explored in season 1 of the TV show, but it would be neat to gain some insight into what exactly went wrong with whatever sort of outbreak containment plan was put into action, and a federal worker would be a perfect vehicle for that. Obviously he'd need his own character development, but that's what would interest me the most.

Thanks as always for streaming anon. I'm sorry I was the only one who could join you tonight. I have a question for you though. How do you mirror animations in SFM?
No.14794
>>14793Well, I figured out how to mirror the animations, and then later I found a "Puppet Script" on the workshop that probably does the same thing, so you might want to try it out instead:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=216464518Otherwise, the manual method I used is to select the pelvis bone of the reference character, then ctrl+click the pelvis bone of Clem or whatever you're controlling, right click and go to the "DAG Utilities Menu" and add a constraint_point and constraint_orient. You then repeat this with all the other bones, except you only use a constraint_orient. Be sure to add these constraints when both models are in similar T-poses, otherwise it won't work.
Since the characters are likely going to be different proportions, you'll probably also need to adjust a couple of things manually. Offset mode in the graph editor is useful for this. You'll have to edit the animation on the "puppeteer" instead though, since the constraints don't let you do it directly.

Now, before a bunch of people possibly get their panties in a twist, the chocolates, flowers, and wine are for an actual person that I'm meeting for dinner in about an hour. I figured I'd "give" them to Clem first though (maybe not the wine).
And now for my Valentine's letter. Don't laugh.
Dear Clementine,
How's my little sweet pea? We've been through so much; we've both been hurt and lost friends along the way, but nothing ever stifles your spirit or compassion. Whenever I'm feeling down, I think about you with your soft voice and your cute little face, and my whole day brightens up. Sometimes I ask myself what it is about you in particular that makes me so happy, but I don't think I could ever pick one thing. I love you because I love you, and my only wish is to make you as happy as you make me.
You've got your whole life ahead of you Clem, and I know you're strong. As long as you're here, there's hope left in the world.
Love,
Anon

>>14876>What are major contributions you've made to /ttgg/?-There was a long period of new threads I was making back on halfchan. I believe my record was 28.
-I went through the archives and counted every thread so we could keep track of it.
-I was the one that found the approximate date of Clementine's birthday.
>What trends have you started?>What maymays have you created?-I was the anon that originally who was having a huge argument with, and coined the name for "Benanon"
-Originally came up with the term "Scrunchy" for Clem
-Created the Clem Ratings System of Adorableness and the Clemometer
-I was the anon that wrote the ">Clementine will never decorate a Christmas tree" greentext before Episode 2 was released
-I created a bunch of Clem polls and pictures that went with them
-I jokingly posted about Clem being a holy deity, which became the whole "praise Clem" and "Holy Daughter" thing
-I was successfully able to get NFA to stop being vocal at one point
-the skittles meme, but MY posts were tame…and I was drunk-I guess I also started the pizza meme when I asked what toppings Clem would want on her pizza, to which one anon became severely assblasted about discussing such a topic
-the "Mike is Ralph" conspiracy
-Chocolate Doug
What OC have you made?
-A lot. Besides, of course, from my drawings, I also made a shitload of edited screenshots (fooooood), Clem recolors (for whatever reason), and fake screenshots (screens of the game with fake subtitles like
>>14847)
You can tell some of my OC (not all) by my very tiny initials I hid in them.
-I made several greentexts about taking care of Clementine, several of which have been reposted many times
I'm sure there was a lot more, but last year was pretty rough on me and I can't remember it all.

Daryl burning himself with the cigarette and then crying was him trying to see if he was still alive because he was allowing himself to feel pain, and then mourning Beth.
I don't think the "holding the doors shut" scene was a dream sequence, I believe it was symbolic in showing how they all had to stick together as a group to stay alive.
Gabriel crying and asking the lord for forgiveness because they got rain when they needed it most. In a previous scene, he removed his collar and burned it, showing that he, like Maggie, has lost faith.

>>14961>I just feel you're just saying that.I'm not. It's tough to make you believe that from the other side of a computer screen, but I really do care about each and every one of you guys. By all accounts, I'm also some autist with no accomplishments or life. Heck, I'm streaming movies and shows to 2 other anons on a Sunday night. I've gone weeks without talking to someone IRL, and I have zero job prospects despite the fact that I'm going to graduate within a couple months.
We've all got problems, but this is one of the few places where you can forget about all that and just talk.
>>14962Not at all. I'm sure your heart is big enough for the two of them!

>>14961>some autist with no life accomplishments or life at allI'm pretty sure that describes most of us here, no offense to anyone else. I am including myself in that statement by the way. I'm always here anon, and I care deeply about the members of our community. Please feel free to talk as much as you'd like.

>>14964Why do you feel bad? The nice part is that Doug and your other husbando can never actually meet or be jealous of each other. You can love both equally.

I was just thinking about this today. It's a tiny little detail, but in S2, the truck that Kenny fixes is diesel. Diesel is probably the only fuel that would work that far into the apocalypse, since regular gasoline has alcohol added to lower its flash point. The alcohol is what causes regular gasoline to degrade with time.
Just thought it was neat. Doubt TTG did it intentionally though.
You could also make biodiesel after the ZA.

>>14963Come on, don't say that. You've done so much here and in real life to be proud about. You have friends, you have a life, you're normal. I have no future or anything really and I'm killing myself by smoking and drinking. You don't have to put yourself on my pathetic level as you're worth so much more than that.

>>14970I am not worth more or less than you. You can't assign worth to people. Your head is an echo chamber, and as hard as it may be, you need to talk to someone and let it all out. I'm saying this as a
friend, anon, because I care about you.

Bump limit reached. Damn. I suppose I can start working on a new thread now, but I won't be able to post it until later today, as I'll be going to bed soon.
