No.154
Not sure if this is worthy of a thread, so feel free to delete if not, but I figured a lot of anons would come here with some general questions like myself, so…
1. What happens to threads after they reach the image or reply limit? Do we have a set number of pages of threads that will be kept?
2. In the same vein, are image reposts allowed? If not, what happens once we've gone through several sets of threads and all of our /ttgg/ related reaction images and content has already been posted?
3. Is there any possibility for an archive of sorts? One of the best parts of /ttgg/ being on /vg/ was the fact all of the threads were archived, saving a lot of the best moments. Obviously, this would only be needed if threads begin to 404 after a certain period of time.

Pretty sure similar questions were asked in the sticky, and i think the answers were "We'll find out when we get there". As for the archive, I don't think there is one, but I could be wrong as I'm new to using infinitychan as well.
No.739
>>154I loooked at the catalog on one of the other boards, it looks like we can have up to 150 threads at a time. And with how slow this board moves, it looks like we won't have to worry about threads getting pruned for quite some time.
I'm still curious as to what the bump limit is though, assuming there is one.

>>154I think we should make a new #general thread every 750 posts
I know we'll reach that much, even if it takes a year ;-; No.742
>>740>taking a yearIt won't take that long, friend.
I believe in us.

>>742There's a lot of people lurking. Things would change if they posted sometimes for fuck's sake
No.817
Judging by >>106 it seems the bump limit is around 250
No.894
>>817That sucks. I wonder if douganon has any power to change that.
No.900
>>894I don't have that power at this time. Sorry about that. It may change in the future.

Does NSFW content have to be spoilered? Of course I'm talking about NSFW content of adult characters.
No.2175
>>2169Use your best judgement anon. it probably should be, but if its really minor then I suppose it wouldn't have to be. Any pedoshit will get deleted and result in a ban
No.2283
Are lewd vocaroos allowed here? I know they get deleted from halfchan sometimes.
No.2286
>>2283No, anon. Not everyone likes audio file mashups made to sound like sex.
No.2287
>>2283Sure they are, just let people know what they are

I found this website to archive threads. /GG/ uses it
https://archive.today/ No.3038
So this exists now:
http://8archive.moe/I'm not sure how to get /ttgg/ archived on it though.
No.5612
Not really a question specific to /ttgg/, but how do you see how many unique IPs are on?
No.5613
>>5612It's on the boards page.
https://8chan.co/boards.html>tfw 14 unique IPs and nobody is posting. No.28882
Is this some sort of ironic board or do you people actually like Telltale games?

Depends on the games. Telltale's pretty hit-or-miss

You should try Tales from the Borderlands and talk about it with us in the general thread. Cool and fun game that released it's season finale today.

I don't play, but I do watch playthroughs.
No.29081
Is this board run by telltale employees or just idiots worshiping profit organizations?
If it's run by telltale, I have lost all faith in your products and refuse to further buy them, waiting 5 months for 2 fucking hours of story is not acceptable. Instead of working on 10 games at the same time finish the ones you already started making.
No.29084
>>29081
Neither. This place started off as a /vg/ thread on 4chan before we migrated to this place. We mostly discuss and joke about Telltale and their games here; we don't blindly worship the ground they stand on. Feel free to complain about Telltale's questionable business decisions, terrible schedule, and shittier products in the general thread if you want. We do a fair bit of that ourselves.

Why did you guys leave 4chan and /vg/? I used to post there after games came out.

It's a long story, but to summarize, someone that we refer to as "nofunanon" or NFA, would constantly delete posts he didn't like, pretty much censoring discussion. He claims to do to get rid of "pedoshitposting", but the fact of the matter was that he was deleting any posts there were about Clementine regardless of content or context. Eventually he started deleting any posts he didn't like, even if they weren't about Clementine. This place was created as an escape from that.
