This question is actually harder to answer than I thought. It's a bit complicated. Part of it is that I'm playing as Clementine now. It helped change my view of her as someone I needed to protect to being a capable individual. Another part is that she behaves more like a teenager than a little girl you do cute father-daughter stuff with.
In S1 Clem's case, who I adore as the kind of daughter I'd like to have if I wanted a kid of course, I prefer to experience cute moments with her through Lee. It's those characters and their relationship I care about after all. I also highly prefer S1 Clem over S2 Clem

Before I go, though, I have a somewhat difficult and most likely suggestive request from SFManon. I'm not sure where you would find the textures/models, but could you somehow make a picture of Clem in some scrubs or a nurse's outfit for me?
If it would be too difficult, I understand.

I've tried achieving lucid dreaming before, but I just don't have the dedication. Getting up every morning and writing things down sounds like a hassle, and I've tried forming one of those dream check habits but it never took.

Here's how it's described on Campo Santo's (the developer) site

>Firewatch is a mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness, where your only emotional lifeline is the person on the other end of a handheld radio.

>In Firewatch you play as a man named Henry who has retreated from his messy life to work as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. Perched high atop a mountain, it’s your job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe. An especially hot, dry summer has everyone on edge. Your supervisor, a woman named Delilah, is available to you at all times over a small, handheld radio — and is your only contact with the world you've left behind.

>But when something strange draws you out of your lookout tower and into the world, you’ll explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making interpersonal choices that can build or destroy the only meaningful relationship you have.

Sounds like they're taking the idea of developing your relationship with another character from TWDG, expanding on it, and making it the focus in this game.

Doesn't mean it isn't irrational. If you think that's even remotely an issue, you're seriously underestimating your own abilities as a parent.

Most problems like that stem from family problems like the parents being absent or abusive, and I don't think that would be a problem if you loved your children as you seem to love Clem.

Is it because of confidence issues or because you just can't find a girl you relate to? For me, it's always been the latter. I was never the guy who went out and played the game just to get his dick wet and move on. I always wanted a relationship. Getting laid was just a bonus to me, not the primary goal.

But I know how it feels to be miserable and lonely. Despite everything I've tried, I just can't seem to meet any girls I'm interested in. There have been some here and there that were into me, but I just felt nothing for them and it seemed wrong to lead them on. And even though I can look back on those instances and understand that I never really "missed out" on anything, it doesn't help to stave off the hopelessness and crippling loneliness.

And meanwhile, I just keep getting older and older. And it just gets harder and harder to deal with.

You're right, but I'm basing this mostly off the Creating Clementine IGN article. Vanaman created the idea of Clementine's character and wrote her dialogue, Sakai created her visual design and gave Vanaman advice on writing her, and Melissa gave her her unique voice and speech patterns. I think those three, more than anyone else on the team, made Clementine who she is. I'm just putting emphasis on Vanaman because Clem's character was his idea and she wouldn't exist if he wasn't working at Telltale when they got the license to make a Walking Dead game.

I have a question, Douganon. Forgive me if I offend but I'm just curious:
Are you a guy or a girl? Back on halfchan, I always had the impression you were a guy, but people here seem to think you're a female. You mention you have a boyfriend, so I'm not sure if you are a straight female or a gay male. Not that it matters in the slightest. It's not the parental feelings towards Clem that people find weird - that's the feeling S1 intentionally elicits out of the player after all - it's wanting her to be real, be genuinely sad or depressed she isn't, and fantasizing about her being your actual daughter to the point of making OC of it. It's similar to the waifu/husbando phenomenon: while it isn't considered weird to vicariously experience loving feelings towards another character through the protagonist in-game, especially if it's intended, it's another thing to write greentexts about cuddling with them, fantasizing about what you'd do to make them happy and be a great boyfriend/girlfriend to them, and being sad every time you realize they aren't real.

Not saying there's anything wrong about any of these things and that you shouldn't do them, but it's understandable why most people would be weirded out it.

Clem learned to sew from Christa, not how to stitch an open wound.

As for the winter gear thing, it's just a matter of scavenging a town or something for clothes. Christa seems to have been avoiding towns and cities, so that probably explains it.

I don't think she'd be able to survive that. That's a lot of tissue you need to cut through, lots of bleeding to control.

It's pretty vague, but it's a useful skill either way. They seemed to be doing alright physically. It was Christa's coldness that was taking a toll on Clem.

Also, they did have a jacket or something if I remember correctly, it was just all fucked up. Clem though about burning it.

I really don't remember this, and I remember the part where Clem had to gather materials well. Do you have a webm or screencap of it?

Nah, just my shitty memory. Could be wrong. Don't feel like starting up that season 2 shitfest again just to check.

I remember it being a small vest, probably. It was so off-screen on the right you could miss it easily.

It's a retextured model of Carley's vest.

Damn, I tried to be as thorough as possible and still missed this.
Still
>considering burning a piece of warm clothing
>not wearing the piece of warm clothing after you just moments ago complained about being cold
Clem needs to get her head in the game.
