I'm worried about episodes being released faster. Legitimately worried.

They did it with TWAU near the end and that game went down as one of TTG's brightest projects at the start, then worst half-assed attempts by the end.

She was damn annoying in the Pre-sequel with her over the top Australian accent. I don't even understand her character much, and I have no clue why she looks like a non-loli version of Tiny Tina.

Blame Anthony Burch. Luckily he's not involved in TftB.

It's annoying they shoehorned her in, but they had to do it for her (dumb) fans I guess. It's avoidable and only comes up if you take the "selfish" choice too, so it's all good.

If you had Rhys and Vaughn go to Old Haven, Fiona and Sasha meet Janey, and it's revealed that she and Athena are lovers. Others will disagree with me, but I didn't think their relationship was really forced down our throats or anything. Mostly they talk about whether or not if it was Athena chasing you. Hell if you say she was chasing you from the get go, their relationship isn't brought up at all.

You have the power to change that anon, you just need to take some initiative. Trying to convert a map for use in SFM is a good step.  No.19572

>I just decompiled the map with L4D Hammer
Huh?

Lemme just outline the steps I took to get No Mercy working in >>19279

Decompile the L4D map using BSPSource http://ata4.info/bspsrc/
Load it in SFM hammer
Check for problems with Alt+P and fix as necessary
Compile map

That should really be it. I ran into a couple of problems when compiling, though. This fixed it:
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/VRAD_HDR_Crash_Fix

Another little problem I had was an invalid model. It gave me some error message during compilation but provided the model name.
You can use the Entity Report to find the offending entity filtering by key/value as "model = <bad model name here>"

I just realized that this entire process is pretty complex. Even I had trouble porting maps, and I've been mapping for years, so don't feel bad if it takes some doing.

Oh, that sucks. Have you tried launching it manually instead of from the SDK launcher?
It's located in SourceFilmmaker\game\bin\hammer.exe
I remember I had to do that for CS:GO once.

 No.19578

>>19577
And yes, I realize that you aren't having trouble opening Hammer, but rather opening map files with it. What I suggested may still work, though, since that's the same exact problem I had in CS:GO. No idea why it worked, but it did. I was able to open map files only if I ran the .exe directly and not through the SDK launcher.

This is perfect for me actually, I want to idle for TF2 items on my alt account and I want to start at midnight. So having the stream before then is perfect.

Since this movie is not the Punisher's origin story I'll explain it briefly for those who don't know. Frank Castle is an ex-Marine who decides to fight against organized crime himself after his family was killed by members of the Mafia. There's more to it than that obviously, but he's basically a vigilante who plays judge, jury and executioner to organized and street criminals.

I know a guy that can do custom hydrographics.
How autistic would it be for me to get something like this done?

>>19646
I can't see her getting into a fight at all, except if her life depended on it. Anything less than that, I think she would avoid a physical confrontation as much as possible. It being determinant would imply that Clementine might actually choose to escalate the situation into a fight, something I don't think she would ever really do.

Maybe if Clem were much older, but even then I dunno.

 No.19648

>>19647
What are the custom hydrographics for? Because judging from your pic it looks like it's for your guns.

I think a determinant fight would be possible in the form of some girl wanting to fight her, there's no talking her out of it, and your options are to defend yourself or run away.

 No.19649

>>19648
Yeah, it would be for my carry piece. I'm not actually serious about it, but the possibility is there. I could put Clem on any number of surfaces if I wanted to.

>some girl wanting to fight her, there's no talking her out of it

I suppose that would be plausible.
>defend yourself or run away
That's the thing, I think it would be a purely defensive fight. I'm unsure how the fight would actually be resolved without her eventually running away, or maybe pulling a gun. It's not like Clementine would beat someone into submission to "win" the fight. Well, maybe Rambo TT Clem would, but I'd rather not repeat S2's OOC moments again.

>autistic
I don't understand why liking something so much that you want to be surrounded by it is deemed "autistic". Are sports fans called autistic when they have rooms, even entire homes dedicated to and decorated with their favorite team memorabilia? No. If you have passion for something, I say do what you want. Have Clem on your gun. Wear Clem shirts. Wear Clem hats. Put up Clem posters in your room.
It's far more autistic to complain about someone liking something so much than it is to be dedicated/passionate about it.
At least, that's my opinion

 No.19651

>>19649
>it would be for my carry piece.
Then yeah, it would be extremely autistic of you to do that. Now if you wanted to put Clem on a game controller or a console, I would be more encouraging.

I imagine a fight between Clem and another child ending with an intervention from an adult. She wouldn't think about killing them unless they were trying to kill her.

>>19650
On second thought, I take back what I said. Put Clem on your guns if you want, but be prepared for potential questions people might ask you.

 No.19652

Except sports is socially acceptable and normal to like. Being obsessed with a fictional girl to the point where you must surround yourself with images of her at all times is autistic as fuck and frankly quite disturbing, and I would question whether this guy is into other deviant shit or not.

 No.19653

>>19652
>Being obsessed with a fictional girl to the point where you must surround yourself with images of her at all times is autistic as fuck
I disagree. If you love something, why not surround yourself by it? Why let the expectations of others rule your life? If you're walking down the street with a Clementine hat on, how is it any different than someone with a batman hat, or a Dallas Cowboys hat? It's not. Fuck what is "socially acceptable".

 No.19654

>>19650
I didn't actually mean autistic, really. Just "strange" in the eyes of other people. An image of Clem in public would probably get a few weird looks since she's clearly fictional, which is why I stick to just the hat and the letter D on stuff.

I don't think that's at all comparable to wearing a normal-looking baseball cap that most people wouldn't know is from a video game.

 No.19661

>>19656
Nah, what I was referring to with the court thing is actually a legitimate concern about "socially acceptable". Having Clem grips on a gun I shot someone with may call into question my mental stability or something. A jury might be less inclined to interpret things as self-defense with that in the picture. It's a really slim chance that it would actually happen, but this is something that could turn out really bad for me.

I don't intend to shoot anybody without a reasonable threat against my own well-being. There wouldn't be any reason to "identify the shooter".

>>19657
>It really depends on if you're going to let others' opinions affect you.
I'd rather not have to explain an actual image of Clem to some random stranger. The hat is neat because someone who recognizes it actually knows the context.

You want the truth?
I used to thirst. But I was like that other anon here that thirsts but feels bad about it. I stopped "cold turkey" after some time spent reflecting on my problems. My little aversion to Clewd is more of a self-defence mechanism or someshit to prevent me from falling into that rut again. When I said I couldn't bring myself to make Clewd for my first SFM picture, I genuinely meant it; that was like my breaking point. I don't thirst anymore, or at least I don't think I do. I've got all sorts of actual mental problems and insecurities that I don't tell you guys about, or anyone, really. Something just hit me that day and I've never been the same since. I don't know if it's for better or worse, but that's how it went down.

This is the first and only time you'll hear this from me. I dunno why I'm saying this now. I don't know how I should feel. I can't ignore my past, but it's really convenient to. I've tried my best to make this a coherent thought. I guess what they say about a drunk man's words.
