A big part of it is that many of us haven't played or may not have much interest in some TT games. TWD is obviously the big uniting factor for most of us, but I don't think the same can be said about TftB, GoT, TWAU, etc.
But I don't mind a little bit of inactivity. It's just the way things are gonna be sometimes.

I was thinking about this last night, how different would season 2 be if Kenny wasn't in it? It would've been harder to calm down the people at the ski lodge when the cabin group first meets them because Clementine wouldn't know anybody there, She wouldn't have been able to get help when Carver's people attacked because Kenny was the only one fighting back and Luke was nowhere to be found. Without Kenny, there would be noone to take the blame for stealing the radio, which means Clementine would've been the one to lose an eye. Carver would still be alive and would've gone after the group after they escaped his compound if he survived the zombie attack. There wouldn't have been anyone to help Rebecca give birth to the baby. There wouldn't have been anyone to fix the truck which means that the group would've had to walk around aimlessly trying to find a place to stay since there wouldn't have been anyone to guide them to Wellington. Granted I'm assuming the story would still play out the same without him, but considering everything he did in season 2, things would've been even worse than they were without him.

>>22278>It would've been harder to calm down the people at the ski lodgeI bet Nick would've accidentally shot someone had that situation continued.
I don't think the story would've really proceeded the same in the absence of Kenny. It was mainly Kenny's idea to try and escape Howe's, so without him, it's entirely possible that the group would have stayed quite a bit longer. In fact, I would've preferred this turn of events, since I feel Howe's and Carver could have been fleshed out a lot more, instead of Kenny trying to get out almost immediately after he got there.

No.22290
>>22289You mean when they first escaped?
Well, all they mentioned is that they got an opportunity and made a run for it.
They were members of the community and likely weren't under heavy security and surveillance
No.22291
>>22289There was that plot point about Alvin killing a guy named George while escaping with the group that was never elaborated on. I wonder where they originally intended to go with that before they aborted it.
http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/George_%28Video_Game%29
>If Alvin was killed in "A House Divided", George is mentioned by Bonnie to Clementine and says that George was killed by Alvin during his and the cabin survivors escape from Carver's community.
>George's name was used as a lie by Carver when Carver visits the cabin for the first time, and encounters Clementine. Upon hearing Clementine saying George's name, Alvin was shown to be in shock, so did Rebecca, showing that Rebecca knows what her husband did. No.22292
>>22290If they were such loyal members, why would they think Clementine was with Carver? They probably would have recognized her had that been the case.
And even if they weren't under much surveillance, you'd think somebody would notice such a big group just leaving like that. Carver almost certainly kept a 24/7 watch.
Some backstory about that would have been nice, like "last time we got out of here, we bribed the person on watch with so and so" or whatever.
No.22293
>>22292Well, not all of them escaped. Reggie got caught in the breakout and everyone else managed to evade them.
Also, they became jumpy and paranoid so they assumed anyone they came across could possibly be working for Carver. Seeing as Carver could possibly AJ's father, they must have met at least 9 months ago as AJ was born relatively recently. If they've been on the run for a while, they may think Carver could've taken on more community members since.
No.22294
>>22291Oh yeah, I remember hearing about George. Hard to tell where they were going with that, since it was all just hearsay.
>>22293>If they've been on the run for a whileWell it seems to me by their proximity to Howe's that they hadn't been gone for long.
And we all know how long it seems to take for Carver to trust any of his community members, so I don't think a new community member like Clem would be tasked with finding them. I guess they are just paranoid, though.
No.22295
Maybe George was AJ's real father
No.22296
>>22289Yeah, I'll admit I might be Baneposting a bit too much lately. Sorry about that.
I don't think they ever mentioned how they escaped, just that Reggie failed to and Bonnie was supposed to go with them.
>>22291This is one of the reason why I think Breckon should've wrote the whole season. We might've actually learned about things like what happened with George.
>>22295Shit, that might've made for a good twist.
Post last edited at
No.22297
>>22296>that might've made for a good twist.Maybe this was what they were planning at first:
Rebecca fools around with George and gets pregnant
Alvin finds out and kills him
This creates a divide in the community ("A house divided") which causes Alvin and the others to leave.
Perhaps they thought it was too similar to Lee's story and took it out. Rebecca's pregnancy was left over from this, but the blame was shifted to Carver instead.

I really liked Vince's story even though it was by far the shortest, probably because I really like seeing day 1 and how shit hits the fan so fast.
I also like how you have to decide whose foot to shoot off with almost nothing to go on. This usually isn't regarded as a good thing (the feeling being that you should have to know the characters you're going to hurt/kill), but it works here precisely because they've only known each other for very little time. And despite that, most people decided to shoot Justin. I think that shows that a little bit of clever writing can go a long way.

Showering would just be a happy-looking Clem scrubbing her hair or arms. This is what I plan on doing with S2 Clem's model sometime.
"Showering" would be a lewd-looking Clem with her hands off the bottom of the frame and/or the implied presence of someone else. I would only consider doing this with an adult Clem model.

I might as well answer the thread theme question too. I think Shel's story is my favorite because I think it's the best. No QTE's, but it has hubs that aren't filler (compared to the rest 400 Days anyway), and the relationship between Becca and Shel is similar in my opinion to the relationship between Clementine and Lee. 400 Days has five writers credited to it, I don't know if they all worked on it together or if it was one writer per story, something they might've been able to do given the length of each story, but if it is a case of one writer per story, I think Sean Vanaman wrote Shel's story, because of the relationship thing I mentioned above. Sure it's different because Shel is female, and the two characters are related while Clem and Lee were not. But it's still a story where you play as someone looking out for a child, and having to make decisions based what's best for them.

What do you think is the worst story? I'd say Bonnie's. Every single character in that story ticks me off to no end.
Then again, maybe that's because I played S2 before 400 days and had a pre-existing hatred towards Bonnie.

I actually think mine might be Bonnie's too. For some reason I just didn't enjoy it as much as the others. I don't know why.
No.22505

Like I said, for me it's mostly the characters. The little drama between Bonnie and what's-her-mangled-face was incredibly forced and shallow and I hated every second of it. Escaping pursuers by running through the corn/maize fields was a cool idea, but was executed pretty poorly and robbed the scene of any tension. And that little stunt they pulled where you smack one of Bonnie's "pursuers" in the face and it turns out to be the lady was really lame and predictable.

I was a bit confused by your use of that word because I was thinking of the South Park definition where you kick each other's nuts. Imagine if they did that in 400 days.
You know, I don't think I've ever actually heard the word Roshambo used to refer to the game of Rock Paper Scissors.
>Is it bad that I laughed when the lady said,"You killed me"?
Not at all. I think I snickered at that too, because the line was so poorly delivered.
