Thanks for backing me up, anon. He's been making a lot of progress and I'm very proud of him.

I forgot to reply for this. You've got some pretty dark dreams anon. Do you think there's a reason you incorporated so many elements from beyond the game in that dream? That's also a pretty interesting parallel going on between Abraham and Kenny. Now that I think of it, they share quite a lot of traits. Do you think Abraham and Kenny would get along well if they ever met?

I've had a couple of Clem dreams since the last time I've told y'all about it. The most interesting was a non-lucid one where I was helping Clem fix a car. It was a place similar to the auto shop in Crawford, just with an old sedan we were fixing on the lift instead of the truck. I think I was cleaning the carburetor, which is a little odd for a car to have nowadays, but I suppose most of my mechanical knowledge comes from motorcycles. Clem was there to hand me tools and materials, and we ended up having to walk a couple of miles to find gas for it. I'm pretty sure this occurred during the ZA, but I never actually saw any zombies. The whole "feel" of it had a lot in common with fixing a car in DayZ; a lot of my dreams seem to emulate vidya.

>>25577

It kinda seems that nobody really cares about GoT here. TftB gets more discussion than it, despite being a lesser-known series.

All I know about GoT is that a bunch of journalist think it's "the best episode yet". Probably a load of wank, honestly. You sound like you've played it, would you say that's true?

>>25578

>>25579

I assume you're talking about a scene where Mira becomes a total badass? I'd like to see that.

 No.25581

>>25580

>Do you think there's a reason you incorporated so many elements from beyond the game in that dream?

No idea. The closest thing I can think of is that I'm always coming up with alternate continuities for TWD, and stories where Clementine is injected in other universes.

>Do you think Abraham and Kenny would get along well if they ever met?

They actually do seem similar now that you mention it. I can see them getting along, though it could turn nasty if they ever conflicted.

You should tell us about every Clem dream you have anon. I love hearing about them.

>You sound like you've played it, would you say that's true?

I haven't played it, I watched an LP since I can't play it, but I would say it's the best so far though not much better than the last episode. I think every episode of the game is better than the last so far, but the increase in quality is gradual rather than it getting better by a large margin. Of course your choices still don't matter in the slightest, but I'm used to that by now so I'm not reacting to that very negatively. I don't want to give away too much though since you haven't played it yet.

 No.25582

>>25581

>You should tell us about every Clem dream you have anon

I'm afraid it would be quite boring for you. Most of them are just everyday things, except I do them with Clementine. The part that makes them so special is just being with her, and I don't know if I can convey that feeling with words too well.

>the increase in quality is gradual

Well, at least there is an increase in quality, at least according to you. Some other anon >>25507 mentioned that it doesn't really feel like GoT from the show or books and that it's its own thing, do you agree with that sentiment? Why or why not? Maybe you have a different opinion having only watched it and not played it.

Also, I think I might find time for some vidya during evenings now. GoT is first on the list of things I'll play if I don't get dragged into something else by friends. Then during the daytime I can leave it compressing like crazy so I can upload it even with this terrible connection

 No.25583

>it would be quite boring for you.

I'm a big guy anon.

>Some other anon mentioned that it doesn't really feel like GoT

That was me. I know the two statements sound like a contradiction, but even though it feels like a separate thing because we're playing as original characters rather than ones from the show, I still enjoyed this episode and have developed a liking for these new characters.

Nothing really? Not to sound like a dick but who cares if she "might be"? The concept of older Clem being a mother is interesting but her possibly being one isn't.

Telltale will probably be done with TWD at that point, and what better way to bring on the feels than kill the protagonist? It worked when Lee died, and he was only around for the one season. Imagine what'll happen after it's been three seasons with Clem?

>>25587

She'll die when they want her to. It's only a matter of time, anon.

 No.25589

File: 1432790157039.jpg (179.38 KB, 1920x1080, 16:9, Game of Thrones - A Tellta….jpg)

Just finished GoT Ep2. I liked it quite a bit, I think they've got a good thing going here. Not sure if I mentioned this before, but I think of Kenny a lot while playing because GoT is the definition of "muh family". Also, Mira is a qt, and I like the little frown Gared always seems to have. Poor guy.

Decisions in pic.

>>25585

That's always a possibility, and one I'm willing to accept if it's done well. Only time will tell, I suppose.

Given the option between Clem having a meaningful death, and her surviving in some stupid Mary Sue plot-armory way, I'd choose the former.

>>25586

Well, I'm not about to go stating things as if they were the truth like that. I kinda meant what you said, though. What if older Clem was a mother? Clem is the closest thing to a mother for AJ, might he resent being "replaced"?

 No.25590

File: 1432790402751.jpg (161.23 KB, 1920x1080, 16:9, Game of Thrones - A Tellta….jpg)

Also, cute Mira has a pretty cute scrunch. Not nearly as powerful as Clem's, but still pretty good.

 No.25591

>>25589

>I'd choose the former

You actually want her to die?! I said it's probable, but I still don't want it to bloody happen.

 No.25592

>>25591

No, I don't want her to die. I want her story to end in a meaningful, compelling way. I'd rather it be done well than to be a horrible hackjob and leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

Of course, that's ignoring the possibility of a season 4.

 No.25593

>>25588

With the plot armor telltale gave her, Clem will be the one person in TWD who is immune to zombie bites. Calling it now.

>>25589

Nice going with the betrothal, though I shouldn't have expected anything less from a guy who can get chicks in real life. What did you do with the knife?

I'm torn about the death of Clem. I obviously don't want it to happen and Lee's sacrifice will be worthless if she dies, but at the same time, I'd be more willing to accept how badly telltale fucked up her character in season 2 if she dies. If it means preventing telltale from further ruining her character, I too could accept Clem's death if it's done correctly.

Good morning, anon.

>>25593

I don't even Telltale would be that cliche.

 No.25596

>>25588

>Telltale will probably be done with TWD at that point

What makes you think that? Also they're probably going to do some flaccid multiple ending thing for her story rather than kill her outright. It'll suck if that's the case.

>>25589

I was being kind of a semantics Nazi there.

Would AJ see Clem as a mother? I don't think she could totally fill that role for him considering she's only a decade older although it would be interesting to see her figure out how. It does bring up a interesting question: how would AJ view Clem in relation to himself? Friend, mother, sister, a mix of of things or something more unique? If she had her own child how would he view them?

>>25591

>>25593

I think you need to remember that Clem is going to die regardless of what happens in the games. The question is do you want to see her death in the games? If she was going to die in the games how would you prefer she passed, at what age, at what point, etc? What would you want her death to do for the story and her arc?

I know that. When I say I'll be able to accept Clem's death if it's done correctly, I'm talking about her story ending with her death.

I gotta get up early tomorrow so I'm going to bed now. Good night /ttgg/.

I didn't think the betrothal part was too difficult, really. I don't think I'm quite the ladies man you make me out to be.

I kept the knife. I'm not about to leave a murder weapon lying around, although I suspect I'll still get in trouble for it eventually. If I had known, for example, that she could toss it into the ocean or something, I would have done that instead. But I figured she'd do something stupid like leave it among the plants.

>>25594

Good morning anon, I've been thinking about you. I hope you're doing well. Remember my little note, it's silly but I hope it can help you get through your day.

>>25596

>I don't think she could totally fill that role for him

I don't think so either, but she's the closest thing he would have. Maybe we'll be introduced to someone else who can fill that role more effectively, and Clem will be more like an older sister to him. There's a lot of ways TT can take this, and I hope they pick a good one.

>how would AJ view Clem in relation to himself?

That's a good question, and I think that all depends on how AJ's childhood plays out. If Clementine is the only suitable person around to raise him, I think he'd end up regarding her much like a mother. It would be a little odd, but people get attached like that and would certainly be a very interesting relationship that would warrant exploration. Obviously Clem isn't actually his mother, but it's not like AJ has the luxury of choosing a caretaker, either.

>If she had her own child how would he view them?

Probably not like a sibling, especially since there would be a significant age gap. They'd probably develop some sort of bond though, one that would keep them together despite any differences they might have. It's certainly a strange thought.

>>25597

Nice, I might use that sometime.

>>25598

I should get to bed, too.

See you later /ttgg/.

 No.25600

Not necessarily. With no contraceptives, rape-y bandits around and no sexual education, Clem could very well be a teen mom. People in deprived environments tend to become parents quite early in the real world too.

Who do you think is the Game of Thrones equivalent of TWD characters? Pic related is obviously Clementine.

 No.25613

>>25612

More like S1 Clem. Mira/Mara (Whatever her name is) feels more like S2 Ep 1-2 Clem, especially in the newest episode.

 No.25614

>>25612

It's kinda hard to find equivalents, actually.

Maybe if we work backwards:

Lee = Gared

Katjaa = Elissa Forrester, although Elissa's certainly stronger-willed

Ben = Ethan/Cotter?

I can't think of any good equivalents for Kenny or Carver. There's plenty of hardasses in GoT, but I don't think there's too many that would fit those two particularly well.

>>25613

Mira's scenes in Ep2 made me want to play Ep3. Would you say she's characterized well?

 No.25617

You guess what, that Mira's an okay character? Is there anyone in GoT that stands out to you as being either either very well or very poorly written?

>>25616

Oh, that's what that guy's name was. I just remember him as that Whitehill asshole. I think Ramsay fits Carver better, though. Ludd just seems to be kissing up to the Boltons, whereas Ramsay is the one that's just off the rails. Carver and Ramsay are both completely fine with killing people (Ethan, Reggie), to assert their dominance over their subordinates, and they're the ones pulling the strings. I don't think Ludd is quite so ruthless.
