I honestly feel like redoing it from episode 3 on just so I can have the option of having Zer0 on my team. But I already played through the entire game to get caught up for the finale so I'm Borderlands'd out. Maybe one day when I have absolutely nothing else to do.

I don't really care about the Borderlands main series but I do wonder much impact Tales will have on a sequel. For a spin-off game it changed a lot about its source material's universe.

I wonder, how does Tales compare to the rest of the Borderlands series? Would someone who's played all the games say that TFTB is better than the others? I know it's hard to compare because they're completely different kinds of games, but still…

I'd imagine TellTale had to get the Okay from Gearbox in order to make such huge changes. I remember reading an article posted here a while back that said something to the effect of TellTale came to Gearbox with a plan, but gearbox nixxed the idea and said they already had plans for the franchise they were welcome to expand on for tales so as to keep it canon without having alternate timelines/universes. Assuming this hasn't changed, it sets up a great BL3, unless they want TellTale to make a season 2 first.

It said something about identifying yourself as a vault hunter, so it's probably some dialogue choice from episode 1. Honestly I'm lucky to have gotten it, I don't even remember that conversation, but I was so happy to have him as an option. Also, Rhysha is the best ship :)
