Does anyone know any other story-heavy adventure games aside from Telltale's? The only ones that come to mind are that new Sherlock Holmes game and D4. Don't recommend me any David Cage games. I'm all too familiar with them and their awfulness.

Story heavy adventure games? I know of some games that are story heavy but aren't adventure games. The only ones I really know are Telltale's ones.

I guess "story focused" would be a better term, where gameplay exists to serve the narrative. What games do you know?

 No.5831

>>5830
I guess L.A. Noire would count, but that's not an adventure game, and it's more of a game than TWD is. I think Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain are similar, but I haven't played them so I wouldn't know how good they are.

>L.A. Noire
Man, I tried to play that game, multiple times in fact, but it has some bizarre and frustrating design choices that kept me from ever finishing it. It's too bad because I enjoyed the atmosphere and was intrigued by the mystery.

>Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain

These are the David Cage games I was talking about. They're both awful and incredibly baffling games, especially Indigo Prophecy. David Cage himself is absolutely insufferable.

Whoops. I guess I should educate myself more before talking about this stuff.

It's cool, anon. Since you brought it up, I will say that Indigo Prophecy has to be seen to be believed. It's starts off fairly normal and then suddenly becomes batshit insane. Don't buy the game, just watch a let's play of it. I recommend this. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL57hJfweW_2sOt01sX9TtQRkzv5RS231f

Oh, well arguably you could say Mike was a bad character because he abandons you to go with the Ruskie and the hillbilly chick.

Yeah, you're right. Though that anon said he wouldn't look at that shit if she wasn't wearing clothes and I think he mentioned he thinks it'd just be funny. Not sure where he mentioned it, though.

Kenny's not a bad character and nether was his family. Mark was a good guy too.

There are good white people, but all the blatantly evil ones are white.

 No.5872

>>5871
Well Ralph, Tavia, and Michelle were bad black people. Though I don't think you could call them blatantly evil.

 No.5873

>>5872
Yeah we know nothing about Ralph, other than he was with some bad apples. Tavia isn't necessarily bad, as she seems to care at least. Michelle immediately apologetic about what she did, and was clearly just shocked and scared when Omid tried to sneak up on her.

I've got to go to work, and I'll be gone all day so I decided to post the new thread 20 posts earlier. Here it is
