>>8173Really? How would your caring for 8 year old AJ contrast with your caring of S1 Clem?
>>8176It could also mean the games break with the comics' canon and skip ahead anyway. Unlikely, I know, but I I'd actually like that since I don't care for the comics.

>>8184>>8191Let me ask this then: would it feel different playing a woman taking care of a little boy (adult Clem fostering AJ) than playing as a man taking care of a little girl (Lee fostering Clem)? This question is also male anons.

No.8196
>>8193Male anon here, playing as a woman who takes care of a little boy makes it a bit different, but
I am still a guy so I still wouldn't feel as inclined to take care of him, despite my character being female.
No.8197
>>8196It shouldn't make much of a difference unless you prefered a gender over the other, which I can't really understand. They're
KIDS, gender shouldn't matter at all.
No.8198
>>8193I think it would slightly be different, just because of how they might write the story. Boy characters tend to be more independent, and I have rarely seen that situation in fictional media. However, if TellTale had managed to make the story an exact parallel to Lee and Clementine then I feel like I would be trying to protect the little boy just as much.
No.8199
>>8197>They're KIDS, gender shouldn't matter at all.I know. I'm not saying I wouldn't care about a boy if I had to look after one, just that I would care about a girl more.
No.8201
>>8198Do you think Telltale will make the dynamic between adult Clem and AJ different than the dynamic between Lee and Clem? I know it's somewhat determinant, but the available options and interactions could potentially be quite different between the two.
No.8202
>>8201I think Clementine feels very protective of Alvin at this point, so her "maternal" feelings will only grow stronger as she gets older with him. It can be something beautiful and cute, maybe even more than Lee and Clem's relationship.

>>8202>It can be something beautiful and cute, maybe even more than Lee and Clem's relationship.Yeah, Lee and Clem knew each for three months but in that short amount of time grew a strong bond. Imagine how close Clem will be with AJ after essentially raising him from birth.

No.8211
How do you think Kenny/Jane would be with AJ?
No.8212
>>8208I really doubt that,
partly because Jane and Kenny will be dead by that time mainly because it makes more sense from a gameplay perspective to have that determined to an extant by Clem's/the player's interactions with AJ, not by some single decision made in a previous season. That would be awful.
No.8213
>>8211I think Kenny would be a bit better then he was with Duck, more protective but also he would be there with him like he wanted to be for his family.
For Jane, it depends. She would probably be easily annoyed by AJ during his younger years, but she may like him if he's independent like Clem or think of him as a liability like Jamie or Sarah was.
No.8214
>>8211I think we already know the answer to that anon, based on the affection Kenny shows for AJ, and the otherwise non-affection Jane shows for AJ.
No.8215
>>8205It may sound weird, but it takes practice. I used to train myself to lucid dream, so that probably helps.
No.8216
>>8211Kenny has already decided to take on a fatherly role in AJ's life, though it remains to be seen how well he accomplishes that or how an older AJ will perceive Kenny
assuming he's still alive.
I don't think Jane cares much about AJ and only decided to help watch over him because Clem clearly cares for him. I don't think she's heartless, but I could see her choosing Clem's life over AJ's and then try to justify to Clem (and herself) why she did what did. As for when AJ grows up, it's harder to say what Jane will think of him then
assuming she's still aive.
No.8217
>>8215I actually read about lucid dreaming just so I could try to lucid dream about Clementine. I didn't really stay committed to my "training" though.

>>8216I like how Kenny acknowledges the importance of Alvin and Rebecca. He knows he's not AJ's dad, but he already loves him as a son.
