>>1371Yeah but we've never seen Clem in a 1 on 1 fair fight. If that were the case, Becca would surely win. Even though Clem bested somebody like Winston using a bunch of tricks and quick thinking, if they were to 1 on 1 fight I'm sure Winston would probably win being an adult and all.
>Becca tried to act tough by saying she'd shoot Stephanie, but cracked when she was handed the gun.Hey, I consider that a good thing. At least she still has a heart and isn't willing to bump off a friend of hers on a whim. Heart's important these days.
>P.S: This is a Clem thread. I hope you don't expect anyone to beat Clem in an argument here.I know…it's just all the other threads are so slow. Also how do you even spoiler text on this chan?

>>1373>Becca would surely winI honestly don't see that happening.
Sure, we can argue that Winston wasn't using his full strength, but Sam certainly wasn't holding back and Clem got him off of her. Same with the many zombies she's fought off by herself. What I meant about Becca cracking under the pressure is that it says a lot about her character. She has more bark than bite and wears the disguise of a hardened exterior to hide her inabilities.
Clem has demonstrated the extent of her strength and cunning, but we have yet to see anything but shit-talking from Becca.
With that kind of record, any betting man would put his money on Clementine.
No.1379
>>1376Even if Becca is more bark than bite, she's got the size advantage on Clem and sometimes this is enough. Clem is really, really small. I would bet on Becca, size is one of the most important factors in fights.
Also with that Sam thing, she was seriously lucky that there were spikes conveniently placed on the other side of that log. Clem has a lot of lucky breaks like that. It kind of makes it difficult to claim we've seen the true demonstration of her strength. Even with the door kick thing in episode 4, that door had been seriously weakened by the walkers pounding on it.

No.1391
>>1387I doubt it. Clementine is quite mature for her age, I don't think she'd be close to an edgelord like Becca. I think she'd outright reject her as a friend.
No.1392
No.1393
>>1391That would be a cool dynamic though. Becca is an edgelord but has no bite, while Clem is a sweet pea but does violent things often. Becca could teach Clem how to be innocent again.
No.1395
>>1379Walkers aren't intelligent. They wouldn't be pounding on the door or ramming themselves with all of their weight. The most they would do to that door is scratch at it which wouldn't weaken the structural integrity of it. I'm not claiming Clem is a superhero, but she has displayed, more than once, extreme strength for her age and size.
No.1396
>>1393Clementine lost her innocence when she had to learn how to defend herself. She's not getting it back and I don't think she'd want to be like she was before. I remember her saying "when I was young and STUPID" this season, she's not fond of her former self and her mistakes.
That's why I love that little girl so damn much. She knows what she has to sacrifice in order to survive and accepts it, even though it hurts. Clementine will be in this perpetual state of being aware of all her surroundings, ready to fuck shit up and doing whatever she has to in order to survive.
Being innocent is a weakness.
No.1402
I have a hard time picturing Clementine getting along with anyone her age, or anyone who isn't an adult.
I think it would be good for her though. It would crack that super-mature shell of hers and I think she'd find herself enjoying being a kid again, as silly as she might feel.
No.1403
>>1402She needn't necessarily act like a kid again, she just needs someone her age that she can relate to. Becca would be an ideal person for this.
>>1395I'm sorry but you're just wrong. The walkers could have been on that door for hours, and even if they aren't putting force at the correct area to force it open, they are putting major stress on a door that is already probably pretty flimsy (a shitty old trailer park door).
>but she has displayed, more than once, extreme strength for her age and size.Well she's not strong enough to lift that water jug, if that is anything to gauge her by.
No.1404
>>1402I agree with this. Like, even if you were friendly towards Sarah you could tell the way she acted annoyed Clementine.
No.1412
>>1403I just don't see Becca, who hasn't shown any capability whatsoever, beating Clem in a fight. Clem has won and escaped several struggles and demonstrated her prowess in physical altercations time and time again. Saying that Becca would beat her for the simple fact that she's taller is ludicrous.

>>1498Gettin' a bit suspicious of your tone there, anon. Regardless, I have a feeling you're kinda right about the "blasian" bit, it making me think her mother was fooling around, but I remember hearing somewhere her character is loosely inspired by one of the Telltale employees kids, so I think her race is a bit of an oversight, not that I particularly care how she looks in comparison to the parents, as it's never mattered. I still don't understand why anyone makes a deal out of it.

Which version of Clementine did you guys prefer? S1 or S2? I don't have a favourite as both are good, but I want to know what you guys think.
No.1886
>>1884S1 Clem. I liked S2 Clem and she had some great moments, but she also had her problems (monotonous voice-acting, inconsistent characterization due to being the player-protagonist, increasing lack of presence in later episodes, etc). S1 Clem was much more realized character and was the heart and soul of season 1.
No.1887
>>1884I want season 2 Clem with season 1 Clem's personality.
No.1888
>>1887She can still be the same sweet pea to some degree. Apparently if you don't tell her "It's shit" in the barn in season 1 ep 1 she doesn't seem to swear very much in season 2. Not sure if it's confirmed, though.
No.1890
>>1884Season 2 Clem. I enjoyed her in season 1, she was sweet and naive, like Sarah. But that doesn't work in the ZA.
I liked seeing this hardened version of herself. Being so young yet so mature made me admire her a lot. However, there's still a glimpse of what she used to be, the sweet girl we meet in season1 is still there. But better, stronger and more prepared. She won't show that side of her to everyone.
Mature Clem is my favorite Clem.
NOT IN THAT WAY>>1888That's bullshit. She'll only say "shoot" instead of "shit" in ep1, but that's about it. She can still say
"Holy shit"
"You're fucking crazy"
"this is bullshit"
and maybe other stuff.
No.1891

No.1893
