$35? Still? In 2014? How long it is depends on how long it takes for you to solve the puzzles. For me it was about 2 hours an episode, with maybe the last episode being an exception. If you don't want to spend that much on it, wait until the Steam holiday sale, and in the meantime, play all the older Monkey Island games so you'll understand all the references in Tales.

I love Sam & Max, Puzzle Agent was also pretty good. I liked their games that were based on more niche media better
