I just thought of something. Let's say Wellington is so well secured that it even has security cameras in many places. Suppose there's a part in season 3 where during a raid/zombie herd, Clementine gains access to the security room, and can see everyone in Wellington who needs help during this time. Each person in trouble is in a uniquely different situation, and Clementine can only help one of them.
…I'm not sure where I'm going with this idea. I guess I wanna know what you guys think of it.

I doubt they'd get a full CCTV network running, but maybe there'd be one still from before. I'm assuming the place was some kind of industrial lot before the "plague". Normally those places have security measures installed to prevent theft and vandalism.

 No.8847

>>8845
Sounds like a neat idea. The question is how would Clementine be able to help these people and how come she can only help one of them?

>>8846
I'd like to see the ZA version of a totalitarian Big Brother government in future games. Not Carver's shit-tier community, mind you, a sophisticated, almost city-state.

 No.8848

>>8847
>how would Clementine be able to help these people
Just to give some examples, people need help shooting out with bandits, people need help keeping zombies from breaking in while someone else sets up a more stable barricade, etc.

>how come she can only help one of them?

Because there would only be enough time to help one of them.

I'd prefer a Woodbury 2.0. Though I'm not sure that would work, considering it's been done already.

>Though I'm not sure that would work, considering it's been done already.
This is why I doubt it when I see people make comments like "Wellington will turn out to be another place like Carver's camp". Telltale isn't going to do something that they did already, especially when people are expecting them to do it.

>Just to give some examples, people need help shooting out with bandits, people need help keeping zombies from breaking in while someone else sets up a more stable barricade, etc.
That explains what kind of trouble these people are in, but how would Clem be able to help them? Does she have access to a comm system to give them vital information?

>>8849
Yeah, I don't read the comics so I hardly know anything about Woodbury. What kind of community is it?

 No.8852

>>8850
It'll probably be a good place where something goes wrong, maybe a power struggle but they kinda did that with the motor inn. Maybe a more trumped up kind of rebellion?

 No.8853

>>8852
But Wellington looks like such a nice community

 No.8854

>>8851
>That explains what kind of trouble these people are in, but how would Clem be able to help them?
I was thinking that she'd go to where the people in trouble are and help them directly. Though I do think there could be a situation where Clem wouldn't be able to get there in time, so she stays in the control room and gives order to the people, turning it into an RTS style segment.

That'd suck.

All we've seen is the gate.

And how they give supplies to strangers so they can have a chance. That's something good people do.

 No.8857

>>8855
>That'd suck.
I think it could be good if they do it right, but that would make it too much like an actual game for them to do it.

>All we've seen is the gate.

Well, I don't think a place with malicious intentions would give supplies to outsiders, let alone turn people away because they're overcrowded.

 No.8858

>>8857
>but that would make it too much like an actual game for them to do it.

That's why it wouldn't work. It'd work better as a decision.

As for Wellington (or some other settlement), I hope they take a more nuanced approach to how these governments work and why they do what they do instead of just a black and white good guy "true" democracy vs Carver-style evil dictatorship.

Nice one, anon. Here's hoping you didn't blow it.

I'm gonna assume finals is a university thing. I'm still attending college and only really have one or two exams. The rest of my stuff is coursework only.

Nearer the end of Episode 3, if anyone cares. Kinda pissed Clem off in the box cart when I said her parents were probably dead and if they weren't, not to tell them that Lee is an ex-con.

He fucking drowned. He stopped moving and got dragged down. No way for him to survive if he didn't immediately get out, get the water out of his lungs and got somewhere warm.

Real Lucky someone edit a beard on her pls

 No.8911

That first death makes sense, but the second doesn't because Luke and Bonnie were submerged for the same amount of time. Luke dies really quickly. One second he's desperately pounding on the ice and the next he's a popsicle. Meanwhile Bonnie emerges from the same hole Clementine made just fine.
