No.8813
>>8810This is my 5th playthrough, though first time on PC. So far I haven't had the game crash (unlike it did on the damn 360, sometimes even taking the whole system with it).
Biggest bug so far was when Lee and Andy were walking out of the barn after you open the door up. Just as Lee left the barn he teleported back to the door. Damn hilarious.
>>8811>guaranteed replies.png No.8814
>>8773I always thought it was incredibly dumb that Jane let Clementine, an eleven year old girl, attack a walker head on alone while she positioned herself where she couldn't help in case something like this happened. Not that she's not the only who treats Clem like she's a super capable adult, but this moment stuck out like a wart to me.
>>8813>teleporting LeeHoly shit, I remember happening this too. Laughed my goddamn ass off.

They're already teasing the next GoT episode.
https://twitter.com/jobjstauffer/status/542469885570609152Not that I care about this series (haven't played it yet), but this seems like Telltale are actually following through on delivering episodes every few weeks instead of months like they promised. TWDS3 might come sooner than we thought.

Holy fucking shit. Decided to help Larry and did CPR, Ken went buck wild with the salt lick. Funniest thing when you continue CPR after he drops it. God damn…
No.8819
Speaking of season 1 glitches. This always seems to happen to me everytime I play now.
No.8820
>>8813>>8818>>8819Wow, that's buggy as hell. The glitchiest my PC copy ever gets is when Lee occasionally shoots out the floor when starting a conversation and invisible Duck.
No.8821
>>8820>invisible DuckI've seen a bunch of people upload screenshots of this on Steam, but I've never had it happen to me.
No.8822
>>8820I've seen him shoot out of the floor.
Another major bug problem was clipping textures. When you're walking up to the final walker on the electric fence, in the console versions there's a huge clipping texture on the grass. Takes up most of the damn field. On the PC version there's a damn tree right in front of the camera so you can't see it. Anyone else notice differences between platforms? A few dialogues have had slight changes, though I may be remembering them wrong.
No.8823
>>8822Holy crap, I just got a whole bunch of different dialogue options when talking Brenda down. If you look at all the awards and degrees and stuff plastered around, or the picture of her husband, you got different options. It was pretty neat.
No.8824
>>8823Yup. I remember when I got different dialogue options from my first time playing when I did that. Things like that are what make season 1 so great.
No.8825
How's the guy who's playing through season 1 again doing?
No.8826
>>8825I just completed Episode 2. Kinda fell out with Kenny. Tried to stay on the fence this time but he got pissed off pretty quick. I think I'll leave the rest of the season for later. Also, I'm kinda busy arguing with a bunch of retards and NFA supporters on halfchan.

>>8835Fuck yeah! I've been especially waiting for you to come back. As long as you're here now, can you give me some advice on how to improve this pic? It's not finished obviously and I want to know how I can make it better.

Good bye until tomorrow /ttgg/.
No.8838
>>8836You use Garry's Mod, right? Some frontal lighting might help that scene out a little if you can manage it somehow. Look up three-point lighting.
Make your characters as expressive as possible. Since it's a bit Halloween-themed, you could have Clem stepping on a smaller jack-o-lantern or something. Not sure what you wanna do with that iron man, but I'm sure you can figure something out.
A couple of other tips I can give you is to scale objects in the scene slightly up or down so the proportions work out better. Also, look through the prop list a couple of times and add things into the scene to make it more convincing and "lived in". For example, I added the rug, radiator, books, radio, coffee machine, kettle, wine bottle, painting, trashcan, soaps, and the running water to this
>>8765Finally, in terms of general image quality, just crank up your graphics. If your graphics card supports supersampling, enable that. It may run at 5fps, but you're just taking a screenshot so it doesn't matter. I would highly recommend switching to SFM in the future if possible. It's not that hard to learn, and with IK rigs you can pose things very similarly to how you do in GMod.

No.8845
I just thought of something. Let's say Wellington is so well secured that it even has security cameras in many places. Suppose there's a part in season 3 where during a raid/zombie herd, Clementine gains access to the security room, and can see everyone in Wellington who needs help during this time. Each person in trouble is in a uniquely different situation, and Clementine can only help one of them.
…I'm not sure where I'm going with this idea. I guess I wanna know what you guys think of it.
No.8846
>>8845I doubt they'd get a full CCTV network running, but maybe there'd be one still from before. I'm assuming the place was some kind of industrial lot before the "plague". Normally those places have security measures installed to prevent theft and vandalism.
No.8847
>>8845Sounds like a neat idea. The question is how would Clementine be able to help these people and how come she can only help one of them?
>>8846I'd like to see the ZA version of a totalitarian Big Brother government in future games. Not Carver's shit-tier community, mind you, a sophisticated, almost city-state.
No.8848
>>8847>how would Clementine be able to help these peopleJust to give some examples, people need help shooting out with bandits, people need help keeping zombies from breaking in while someone else sets up a more stable barricade, etc.

>>8847I'd prefer a Woodbury 2.0. Though I'm not sure that would work, considering it's been done already.
No.8850
>>8849>Though I'm not sure that would work, considering it's been done already. This is why I doubt it when I see people make comments like "Wellington will turn out to be another place like Carver's camp". Telltale isn't going to do something that they did already, especially when people are expecting them to do it.
No.8851
>>8848>Just to give some examples, people need help shooting out with bandits, people need help keeping zombies from breaking in while someone else sets up a more stable barricade, etc. That explains what kind of trouble these people are in, but how would Clem be able to help them? Does she have access to a comm system to give them vital information?
>>8849Yeah, I don't read the comics so I hardly know anything about Woodbury. What kind of community is it?
No.8852
>>8850It'll probably be a good place where something goes wrong, maybe a power struggle but they kinda did that with the motor inn. Maybe a more trumped up kind of rebellion?
No.8853
>>8852But Wellington looks like such a nice community
No.8854
>>8851>That explains what kind of trouble these people are in, but how would Clem be able to help them?I was thinking that she'd go to where the people in trouble are and help them directly. Though I do think there could be a situation where Clem wouldn't be able to get there in time, so she stays in the control room and gives order to the people, turning it into an RTS style segment.

No.8858
>>8857>but that would make it too much like an actual game for them to do it.That's why it wouldn't work. It'd work better as a decision.
As for Wellington (or some other settlement), I hope they take a more nuanced approach to how these governments work and why they do what they do instead of just a black and white good guy "true" democracy vs Carver-style evil dictatorship.

That first death makes sense, but the second doesn't because Luke and Bonnie were submerged for the same amount of time. Luke dies really quickly. One second he's desperately pounding on the ice and the next he's a popsicle. Meanwhile Bonnie emerges from the same hole Clementine made just fine.
