This will actually probably make things easier for you in the long run. The obsession I (intentionally) developed with pic related, prior to learning about talpers, has primarily been a hindrance for me, something that takes extra time and effort to clarify and distinguish.
Although, that being said, I would not have it another way if I could. I still value too much those some traits represented by this character (pic related, again).

That depends. Your question is too broad. Ask yourself: what are some of the masculine traits you admire, or want to have in your life? Maybe sit down with yourself, make a list of such traits, and post it ITT. Maybe anonmancers would be better able to give you some references.
