not an argument

>Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is bad.

<No, and I think you and RLM are dumb for thinking so.

Lol, butthurt, not an argument.

I had no idea RLM did a review of Crystal Skull, and a I completely disagree with them on the Star Wars prequels. Nevertheless, Crystal Skull was pretty shit. Seriously, name one single scene from it that still jumps out in your mind as having been good.

It's not as good as the other Indy films, but it doesn't deserve any intense hatred. I certainly wouldn't use it to try to indict George Lucas or claim he 'owes' you something like a drunken Gen-X manchild.

your piss bottles need to be emptied

The worst thing about it was the overuse of CGI, and old man Harrison pretending he can still do the action scenes (probably part of the reason for the CGI). Aliens was actually a good idea.

The ants.

The fire ants

What the fuck happened to the Incans that burst out of the walls in the temple?

How shit is the next one going to be?

>fights commies instead of National Socialists

>woke ancient aliens plot

Best Indiana Jones flick after the one with the street shitters. Lucas always wins.

>Seriously, name one single scene from it that still jumps out in your mind as having been good.

the monkey scene

>George Lucas or claim he 'owes' you something like a drunken Gen-X manchild.

He owes me a decent movie if I pay him for one.

>Aliens was actually a good idea.

Contrarian nonsense. The real Indy movies carried implications of encounters with the divine and supernatural. They'd leave you with a sense of wonder at the subtle existence of a spiritual world. But then Crystal Skull comes along and says "lol there's nothing supernatural it's all just ancient aliums just like da history channel says". It's honestly a gigatic shit taken right in the face of all the real Indy films.

Don't even remember it. It's that forgettable.

That was from Temple of Doom dumbass.

True Lucas kinosseurs know that he is capable of great movies.

The second Indiana Jones already had supernatural stuff on it.

<Real Indiana Jones films

Real Indiana Jones films are the original adventure movies/serials Indiana Jones was based off but if I had to pick the best Indiana Jones of the series it would be Temple of Doom which only is hated by hollywood types simply because it lacks revenge porn that the other 2 have ( bravo George). Crystal skull might have worked perhaps if it was made before the assembly line green screen shitty CGI became common place, if script & casting were a bit better but mainly before Harrison Ford turned into woody Allen or I suppose before he chose poorly & drank out of the wrong cup.

Indianna Jones was always faggotshit.

I don't understand the hatred for Temple of Doom has always gotten. I really like all of the original trilogy, but it's been my favorite since I was a kid. I like the darker elements and the way it focuses on building up the Indian setting rather than the more typical globetrotting stuff.

You're gay.

It was like something Stephen King would conjure up

So an amazing work of art whose praises will be sung through the ages? :^)

In my experience, everyone who isn't told they're supposed to hate it for being the racist one, thinks it's the best one.

More like trash that's soon forgotten

Then why come so many people buy his literary masterpieces? Checkmate.

>Aliens can't exist in the same world as the supernatural

The idea that aliens visited ancient Earth and planted the crystal skulls is also very much a modern myth, just like the things the original trilogy was based on. It also echoes the science fiction and UFO obsession of the 50's.

Normie consumers. They are the worst and why we can't have nice things.

Perhaps a few lines Willie and the kid say are a bit redundant or "annoying" & the "British" Indian division showing up at the end was very convenient but over all yes it is the best film of the series…..I would have loved to see more of Indiana Jones in China that bit was interesting.

posers/women follow trends they don't read books they just want to have the appearance of reading the latest trendy/edgy book.

completely disproved every crystal skull has been found to be a modern fake.I believe there is some ridiculous book that started the myth based on a made up account by some woman that changes every time they interviewed her.

Willie is the easily biggest flaw of the movie. Fuck her.

I always liked Short Round, though.

>completely disproved

Unlike magic Indian stones

A very minor fan edit/fix can easily fix her…. I honestly think they made her say more things an attempt to make her a 1980's "stonk woman".

The difference is that the skull was modern bullshit spread by Europeans in the 1920's & it was caught pretty quickly magic rocks from the east is more exotic and mysterious.

To add its like making Indiana Jones meets bigfoot.

>Fuck her

Steven Spielberg certainly did.

You could do that too.

it's too bad we cant watch the original

Why? What did Lucas do to it?

Speaking of altering things:

George Lucas Speaks Out Against Altering Films in 1988

George Lucas was one of those filmmakers who spoke in front of Congress. The same George Lucas who, in the two decades since, has continually tinkered with his signature Star Wars films from the Special Editions through the prequels and right up to the Blu-rays, which caused massive mainstream controversy this week due to new changes including a digital Yoda and Darth Vader’s new dialogue. But on that day, 23 years ago, Lucas delivered a rousing speech that condemned exactly what he’d end up doing himself.

>why isn't this fantasy movie more realistic

Seriously kill yourself, all of the Indiana Jones movies are fantasy shit. None of them have any resemblance to reality and you're a dipshit if you thought they did.

He released a special edition of the film with no way to watch the original cut because unlike Star Wars, it was never a hit and no one was really able to preserve it properly.

The lead female character was annoying and the worst in the whole series

If you don't like:

>Spider-Man 3

>The Prequel Trilogy

>Rocky 5

>Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Then go to reddit

Magic rocks from the mystical East feel right for a pulpy adventure story like Indiana Jones. Going full sci-fi doesn't at all for this kind of story, even with the movie taking place at the same time as the '50s flying saucer craze.

>Return of the Jedi ewoks were a mistake

Not really. They should have had more believable weapons or tactics, though. Human rebels piling up stormtrooper corpses left and right was hard enough to swallow as it was without a bunch of teddy bears taking them out with rocks and sticks.

>Indy in general was pretty shitty to begin with

Sure, if your head comes to a point.

Yeah, but it doesn't even come close to ruining the movie.

Probably a troll, but Rocky 5 is an enjoyable enough movie.

File: fdede5c338d410b⋯.jpg (15.09 KB, 232x300, 58:75, DgurQcqVMAAKEde.jpg)

I saw the Kingdom of Crystal Skull in a cinema, they were handing out free tickets to schools. All the girls were moaning and left wobbling because of Shia LePoof. I don't even remember the movie, I just know it was less interesting than the various books about ancient ayyliens and crystal skulls from my grandpa's bookshelf.

Rocky 5 was hated upon release and was panned especially since people thought it would be the conclusion to the series. Seen in better light after Rocky Balboa released but many still see it as the weakest film.

I think it's the worst of the original series (from what I remember, anyway) but still nothing bad. I don't get why so many liked Rocky Balboa while ripping on Rocky 5. The former just feels cold and lifeless.
