I don't know what you were expecting. Full House was always terrible schmaltzy shlock devoid of any substance. It is probably the best example of everything derivative and lazy about Sitcoms as a genre.
You want an old, classically done late 80's/ early 90's sitcom that's solid, well made, well written, and with interesting characters who play off each other and don't just regurgitate cutesy catch phrases and one liners? Try Cheers, Golden Girls, or Married with Children.
