Dragon Ball thread?

How are Krillin, Tenshinhan and Piccolo in the new material? I haven't seen the two latest movies or Super yet. These guys are my boys, my favourite characters. At least Piccolo remained somewhat useful into the Android Saga. Hell, I suppose Tenshinhan had that one good moment fighting against Imperfect Cell. I'm still heartbroken that they pretty much got dropped for so much of the series.

Also kaioken needs to become significant again. That's something that I believe even Yamcha should be able to use, although I don't really give a shit about him.

glad to see my thread got some replies although it looks like my second post got pruned for some reason.

Guess I'll just repeat my question. What the Hell happened to Chiaotzu after he got blown up during Saiyan Arc? Don't even remember him appearing after that. Thought his character design was pretty cool, up there with Tenshinhan and Piccolo although still not a personal favourite.

I'm pretty sure /a/ treats Dragon ball the same way they treat Naruto - they don't let you discuss it there at all.

I've been in a few DBZ threads on /tv/ and I've had the best discussion I've ever had about this series over there (mind you, this was 4chan's /tv/).

I also remember a Dragon Ball thread on here where this exact matter was discussed and ta mod came on saying that this does belong on /tv/.

so my opinion is shit. No reason not to take part in the discussion. It's a general Dragon Ball thread, this isn't just about me. Maybe I'm wrong about Cell Saga, but pic related was my favourite Tenshinhan moment. I also think SSJ2 Gohan was a good move and Android 18 getting with Krillin was a nice ending.

Android Saga (which you don't mention, so I take it you agree with me?) was fantastic. I thought Android 19 was pretty damn scary as a kid. Pic related was another iconic moment of DBZ.

I know a lot of Dragon Ball elitists like to say it's shit because the series was meant to end after Frieza or whatever, but I like it a lot and feel like they shouldn't have let Gohan's story end at the Frieza Saga anyway.
