 No.278481

New Pee Wee movie came out on Netflix the other day and I haven't seen anyone talking about it. Anyone seen it?

 No.278483

That makeup is actually pretty good, it really doesn't look like he's aged.

I could see that

 No.279036

Saw it last night, it was breddy gud. A bit too heavy-handed with some gags but it kept me chuckling.

 No.279225

Just watched it and I thought it was pretty funny, but what is up with the gay undertones?

Do you not know what the current year is? I can remind you, if you like, it's the [current year].

That seems to be the case with almost every movie that's come out in the last 3 years. Even 80s films occasionally had some gay undertones for the sake of humor but now this shit is just forced and hammy.

>>279036

I honestly felt that some gags were a bit underwhelming. Like they were trying too hard to make them work. Still an okay movie I guess but when compared to the original film it just feels like crap imo.

Dafuq. I thought that was just friendship. First SWVII and now this? Is every male bonding film automatically homo?

What isn't attractive about her? It's probably because she's attractive yet not too out of reach.

 No.279269

I don't understand the appeal either. Sure, many of us has had that hot cousin as >>278896 implies, but she's still pretty dull.

I'm not gonna lie, I'd hit that. I'd give it my all.

 No.280060

I enjoyed it a great deal. It's a very worthy sequel with a few caveats.

I have no nostalgia. I saw the first film for the first time a few weeks ago.

This sequel was very funny for the most part. The only parts I didn't like were the scenes with the screaming after the first one (it happened too many times, and the high pitched scream joke can only really work once), and the farmer's daughters scenes dragged on a little far.

The chick that played Maeby in Arrested Development is a shit actress in general. I find her got

 No.280061

>>280060

Fucking phone posted my shit before I was finished.

I was going to say that I find her hot for some reason, but her acting is dogshit.

Joe Manganiello or whatever his name is was surprisingly funny. My wife said he was from True Blood (before he said so explicitly) and I expected the worst, but that entire final scene with him upset about his party and pulling Peewee from the well was gold.

Good film. A few groaner scenes, but they were few and far between. I think it was almost as good a film as the Tim Burton one. At least 85% for me.

There were no gay undertones. You're fucking retarded if you saw any. The joke is that they're basically children and would be "best friends" in the same way 5-year-olds would be. There was nothing resembling any kind of romantic chemistry or tension between them in any way.

 No.280064

>>279644

You do know that's not her, right? The actress just looks like that.
