Anybody else find this movie generally mediocre?
I loved the Blue Mountain State series. I really liked the stupid, corny humor. It was over-the-top in all the retarded ways that get me.
The movie was like all the humor of a single episode stretched out to make a feature. There were some funny jokes (like the Donnie is gay thing, the high sex scene, some of the stuff with the goat), but they had so much fucking padding between for what amounted to a non-plot. Nobody gave a shit about the story. If the audience fucking cared about the plot, we wouldn't have watched the series to begin with. We didn't need a movie with 30 minutes of exposition before any real humor happens, or with a few jokes peppered in around the story.
Some funny jokes, but I didn't feel like the movie was really worth watching all the way through. If you're going to watch it, I'd say you should skip to the party and stop watching after the sex scene.
