Basic idea so far is: There are recipes for making fusion princesses. In order to make a Fusion Princess, you sacrifice the princesses in the recipe to get the Fusion princess. If you do, the countries of the princesses sacrificed wage war with your kingdom BUT with great rewards.

Alternatively, by sacrificing the requisite princess, you summon a princess from an alternate dimension who's ready to back you up complete with an alt dimension army.

The original two kingdoms also lose -1 from wealth and power, then ally and attack you.

-1 on the empires that oppose you is just a "feels right" decision. If a portion of their populace revolts to support the new princess, they should be weaker. You could make it +1 to make fusion princesses more expensive.

Hello, here's a knight I drew, inspired by the artist Yves Klein.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yves_Klein A mad knight who thinks all that is blue belongs to him, mostly a spear wielder and a pompous attitude for piety.
Should I draw him more/develop more ideas about him?

Rolling Thunder 03/30/15 (Mon) 00:35:27 adf0e5 No. 1487
I was assuming he was going to be an NPC, sort of like a random event character if the knights try to rescue a blue princess, sort of a rival I guess. Defeating him would give them his title and stuff. If played as him I suppose they'd have to go through this paladin-like mentality of claiming and defending everything that is blue.

Would be fun in a game-sense if the towers themselves are sort of challenges all the way up, but then there is usually a sort of victory lap up the final staircase at the end of which the essential 'Princess, I've come for you!' moment happens, but where there are blue princesses you unexpectedly open the door to find this asshole sneering at you. Would be a nice curveball for players.

Anonymous 04/03/15 (Fri) 20:17:34 004cf5 No. 2625
>>2617 No, you don't die, but look at what happens when you rescue her: She is always there. Always. It took a positive and two negatives to describe the depth of that always. How do you think that's going to affect your interaction with your other princesses? It's going to be hard to raise anyone's love or lust when a </3 netorare monomaniac is always there to intervene.
Furthermore, if you should accidentally bring her to max lust, she destroys everything most people play this game to achieve by trashing your entire harem. I tried to make light of it in the other thread, but that is bad end right there.
Compare mimic. Mimic isn't even written to kill you, which makes her less of a Bad End than the Assassin, who has an obligation to see you die. She was *supposed* to be a bad end but people ended up loving her anyways. That's where you are with dog right now, you need her to be a real choice because you're enamored of the bad end she represents. All you've really demonstrated is that yandere is a much more popular and socially acceptable fetish than vore.
Dog ruins your build if you take her concept at all seriously, just like assassin, just like mimic. Yes, you can gloss over her drawbacks, like Wagon Knight does with Mimic princess, or you can work counters into your build to try to neutralize her, but she's still the bad end of gen iii
Anonymous 04/04/15 (Sat) 23:24:58 aea3c7 No. 2867
>>2625 Classic Mimic definitely ate you, that got lost in lewd edition I guess. But she's still a mimic and if you run out of things to feed her with it's not unlikely that she'll try to eat you too. In fact, Monk Courtier was given an ability to stop that from happening. Sure it mentions princesses hurting you in general, but Mimic was one of the main princesses/reasons mentioned for including this ability.
As for the other two. Assassin is implied to be a story hook rather than a bad end. At least it came across this way when we were statting her. It's often forgotten but there's a whole bunch of adventuring/travelling and character (love/lust increasing) interaction implied before you settle back down in your kingdom. It's going for that sort of drama rather than giving you a Game Over.
Same with Dog actually, if anything it was her yandere fetish thing people had in mind first and less giving the player a bad end. Since you can rescue the princesses from the Dog Dungeons (not really mentioned on the chart sadly but talked about sometimes after she was finished being statted) and it was kept in mind that many people would go monogamous and so not everything is meant for harem seekers. It's really only inconvenient for harem players at most.
Anonymous 04/04/15 (Sat) 23:50:33 004cf5 No. 2872
>>2867 >yandere fetish thing people had in mind first and less giving the player a bad end These are literally the first five results from a GIS on yandere. Only the fifth does not directly reference bloodshed.
Yandere end *is* bad end, just like vore end is a bad end. You like it. That's fine. I like it. I have that fetish. But you're romanticizing it way too much.
And even if you scale Dog back to not be violent, she will always be with you. That's awkward for more than just going to the bathroom, even if you're not trying to build up a harem behind her back.
Find me one yandere series that doesn't revolve around what a bad idea it is to date a yandere and I will watch the shit out of it, because I would love that.
>Assassin is implied to be a story hook rather than a bad end. At least it came across this way when we were statting her. Then you need to scrub your brain clean and re-read her, because what's actually written there is a murderer. 100% kill rate, wants to kill you, you don't know she wants to kill you until she's on top of you.
I'm with you on the story hook idea, I really am. I think Mimic and Dog are just story hooks too, but they all represent these high entropy storylines that end badly more often than not.
Think of it like a visual novel. You pick the girl next door, you're not expecting blood. You pick the yandere, you know it's going to be exactly one right way to avoid the bad end, and the existence of that one right way does not make the yandere suddenly comparable to the girl next door.

I actually do see that as a story hook. I hardly think she was expecting her assassination target to come save her life and rescue her from a tower, and I can very easily see that spinning off into her being torn between her duty as an assassin and her gratitude to you.
A cute ninja girl is going to have a much broader appeal than to just people who get off on violence and murder, so I think it's a waste to say that's the only role she can ever fulfill.
Anonymous 04/05/15 (Sun) 09:28:11 d40435 No. 2981
>>2980 This. We actually didn't stat her as the bad end of Gen II. She has a 100% kill rate up to that point, doesn't mean that can't drop to 99% on your adventure. Or that she even knows if you're the target. No one was thinking of her as mimic tier up until now.
Anonymous 04/05/15 (Sun) 13:35:48 6a5b6a No. 3000
>>2980 >that's the only role she can ever fulfill. Well this is our confusion right here. I never said the only role she can fill is death, I've actually said several times now that I'm with you on the story hook thing.
I like Dog. When I first read her she seemed like a total pain with insufficient reward. The only reason she grew on me is because of the efforts of the community to give her a different personality from what's written down. That doesn't change the fact that the way she is written, she is bad end all over.
Same for assassin. Personally I've got no reason to like her, but I've got nothing against her either. Saying she isn't mimic tier is technically correct, but whatever your intentions were, she isn't mimic tier because she's
written to be
more dangerous than mimic.
If you take either of them, either you're going for some of the hardest ends in the game, which is fine, that's what hard ends are for, or your head canon has overpowered your ability to read.
It's actually a little insulting that you want to trivialize the challenge of these princesses. "Oh, it says she wants to kill you but you can just handwave that" is like saying "Touhou is hard but you can always use trainers."
They're not like the other princesses, it's not a walk in the park to pick them up. They're bad ends you have to escape if you want them in your party, just like mimic.

Why not stall and woo her, and have some Pheonix Ashes and the Humble Trident on hand and use your free revive to let her keep her perfect K/D ratio when the time finally comes that she can't put off her contract any longer?
