>>3498 Is Luminous Warden and Shaman Mud-Warden not a bit too close? I feel like we can do better for Lantern Knight than a simple light warden
Anonymous 04/08/15 (Wed) 22:05:58 ac357c No. 3504
>>3503 Lantern's title came first I think. His duties back in his original kingdom was lighting up lanterns along the road, escorting high profile caravans, and checking up on remote towns to see if they even still had people living in them. Not sure what title would reflect that.

>>3504 Luminous guide? Pathfinder? Luminous Wayfinder?
Anonymous 04/08/15 (Wed) 22:08:27 e9091c No. 3506
>>3503 Lantern Knight isn't mine, sadly, I just did the art and card for him. (Otherwise I would have named his power 'Knight Light'), so I won't change his title unless there seems to be a huge demand for it.
>>3502 Yeah, Plunder Knight was my first Knight design and first foray into trying to drawknight, and while I'm still kinda proud of his design he wasn't designed with fitting on a card in mind and causes…problems.
Anonymous 04/08/15 (Wed) 22:19:57 e9091c No. 3510
I increased Punishment Knight by about 10% because he was looking kinda short.
Anonymous 04/08/15 (Wed) 22:24:58 ac357c No. 3511
>>3506 I statted Lantern, I don't mind it being changed to Knight Light although Night Light was already a slightly more subtle version of the same pun.
>>3505 I think Luminous Warden is okay for now. Pathfinder is okay but I have an irrational dislike of Paizo. I'd probably use something more like his symbolic role rather than his literal role.
Beacon of Hope
Substitute Star
If we add something to Pathfinder it could be alright too.
Flickering Pathfinder
Anonymous 04/08/15 (Wed) 22:25:13 5bcffc No. 3512
Any ideas for another Knight?

>>3512 Chef Knight
Stamina 2
Prowess 2
Speed 3
Charisma 3
Intelligence 2
+Makes delicious food and effortlessly runs the kitchen
+Great sense of etiquette and chivalry
+Fiery temper good for battle, the bedroom, and the kitchen
-Can be very harsh on inexperienced cooks
-Claims to be a connoisseur, everyone else just calls him a snob
After nearly starving during a siege, this knight decided to open a restaurant that welcomes all men at arms.
Cane Sword- A swanky concealed blade. Expected a frying pan? A true chef never abuses their precious tools!
Stiletto- A long slender dagger good at gutting people. Made for war unlike your cutlery.
Power: Spicy Passion- Twice a day you can use your charisma stat in place of prowess, and at +2 advantage if you're dealing with a pretty lady.

>>3513 Seconding this if we don't have a Chef Knight already.
Anonymous 04/08/15 (Wed) 22:45:43 ac357c No. 3515
>>3513 Decided to spruce up his pros and cons to fit a card.
+Can cook and easily run any kitchen
+Chivalrous and knows his etiquette
+Fiery temper good for battle and the bedroom
-Can be harsh on the inexperienced
-Self proclaimed connoisseur but is just a snob
Anonymous 04/08/15 (Wed) 23:08:02 ac357c No. 3517
>>3515 Also, maybe this can be his weapon since Canesword is already being used.
It's a warhammer but also slightly resembles a meat tenderizer. Would keep the blurb about not using a frying pan to explain that he intentionally refuses to use his chef stuff to do knight stuff.
Sketchy 04/08/15 (Wed) 23:37:20 9b1739 No. 3524
>>3517 The question I then have to ask is do we want a innkeeper look or a chef look?
Anonymous 04/08/15 (Wed) 23:45:31 ac357c No. 3525
>>3524 Little of column A and a little of column B. I'm assuming you're giving him the hat either way. Would go for the styles in the bottom row though.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 00:06:46 5bcffc No. 3530
Alright Chef Knight.

Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 00:49:41 8438f6 No. 3535
>>3497 yeah looks solid
one thing i was throwing around in my head was making it all more poofy? like having those poofy shoulder things (forgive my lack of knowledge on archaic women's formalwear)
some lace around i dunno, more stuff like this
plus the pumps. the pumps are
key
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 01:31:08 e9091c No. 3537
>>3535 I must concur that the heels are a fantastic addition.
I think if you want to add the shoulders and neck ruff, you should change the helmet ornamentation to a big long Shantae styled ponytail instead of the poofy helmet deco that it seems to be right now.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 01:47:12 8438f6 No. 3539
>>3537 yeah it's a little busy in the head & shoulders area, something that's higher on the helmet so its not blending into those lines, maybe a feathered thing? you're right though
could make stand to lose the cravat and just have the shoulders and some kinda plumage too, really
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 02:10:14 e9091c No. 3540
Another Anon put this together over on 4chan as a more classy alternative to Mouse Knight. He's basically steampunk mouse batman.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 02:12:35 ea35e7 No. 3541
Quick update on some shit– Matador Knight's will probably be done in the near future. My energy's been shot. Also, going to be retooling Pointy Knight to follow the 12 point rule. Anyone have a list of knights that haven't been done yet?
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 02:15:30 e9091c No. 3542
>>3540 There was some debate on the specifics so we also have this one for people who can't decide between batman mouse and classy burglar mouse, or have strong feelings about the inclusions of helmets in Knight designs.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 02:15:39 ac357c No. 3543
>>3541 There's a list that hasn't been maintained but I think. We covered most of the core concepts.
There's the rest of the color knights that were suggested. And to update Ace and Black Knight because they used an old (and bad) template.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 02:40:01 8438f6 No. 3546
>>3542 its not very knightly but hey these are fast & loose with the concept anyway
faces should always stay covered though, that's like the one single design constraint
just slap a piece onto the first mask that covers the mouth, maybe in a decorative venetian, greek tragedy style or not honestly
works either way
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 02:48:26 ac357c No. 3547
>>3546 The right is his official design. It has a small bevor + breathing slits like certain knight helmets. Kind of a stretch but it's something.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 02:55:29 8438f6 No. 3548
>>3547 well if it were up to me i'd slap a breastplate and a sash on there, go for sort of a Napoleonic dragoon look with that, it would sell the aesthetic as well as the knight look a lot better imho. plus the whole 1800s gentleman thief look, the Fantomas thing, is way more interesting than another tired batman reference that really doesn't seem to have anything to do with the rest of the character's gimmick
its just lame
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 02:59:52 8438f6 No. 3549
>>3548 also why is it called a rapier when it's clearly a cane with a hidden blade
C- see me after class
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 03:02:12 ac357c No. 3550
>>3549 Yeah I mentioned it's not a rapier too. I would express this opinion back in the 4chan thread. I like some of his concepts but he really could use some armor here and there.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 03:21:20 e9091c No. 3567
>>3548 I worked on this with another Anon who did the art and was the one who wanted a classy Mouse Knight redesign in the first place. I asked for a face-concealing version and what he came up with was the one on the right, which he sent over as NANANNANABATMOUSE.png. That's why vigilante mouse.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 04:43:37 ac357c No. 3585
>>3510 The sweat on Lantern is kind of hidden by the card. Would move it slightly so it can be seen better.
Here's this if you need it.
Sketchy 04/09/15 (Thu) 04:59:16 f9275c No. 3588
>>3539 The thing is I'm trying to have it seem Knightly in some fashion. I'll do my research and see what I can come up with.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 05:11:51 f02073 No. 3593
>>3531 For livery, I suggest "EATETH AT JOE'S" or "KISSETH THE CHEF".
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 06:59:42 f9275c No. 3594
>>3535 Something like this?
>>3593 Sorry the image I'm using is too small to write that on there.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 07:02:25 ac357c No. 3595
>>3594 Could put a little graphic of meat.
Sketchy 04/09/15 (Thu) 07:07:12 f9275c No. 3596
>>3595 I could sketch the meat being pierced by the stiletto, I will do both though.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 07:10:43 ac357c No. 3597
>>3596 That kind of goes against his motto.
Despite his outfit and his choice of weapons kind of resembling utensils, but don't tell him that.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 07:33:09 ac357c No. 3599
>>3598 Looks good. Would recommend the left of course, not that I dislike the right though.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 07:45:39 ac357c No. 3601
>>3599 Oh and while you're still working on him could you add the spike on top and mold the back end into a point of sorts? Just to make it more like a warhammer.
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 07:50:46 efc496 No. 3602
>>3598 Why not just give him a meat cleaver?
Anonymous 04/09/15 (Thu) 07:53:58 ac357c No. 3603
>>3602 Because he's written as the type of chef who won't use his cooking tools as a weapon. He's the proud fiery snob kind who won't use his precious tools on villainous scum. Despite his appearance. His weapon is actually a warhammer that just sort of resembles a meat tenderizer, hence

a lot of the details and finery you'll probably have to do after inking it considering lace and stuff wouldn't read well with black outlines and would be better done in white ontop of the pink or whatever the dress ends up being

On the subject of Mercenary Knight, I'm thinking mail made of coins and such would be interesting to see on him considering that was an actual thing in history.
