Gats uses Stumpy Pencil v2, a Photoshop brush preset.

The handy thing with brush presets is that all your tools will have the same texture and dynamics so there's a consistency in style even when erasing.

To apply a brush preset, go to the Photoshop toolbar.

Window > Tool Presets

under that menu's dropbox, select 'Load Tool Presets…'

From there, navigate to the Stumpy Pencil v2 file you've downloaded from the link, and there you have it.

You could always use the binary tool in SAI as an alternative. It isn't Gats's style, but still looks alright.

Thanks again m8 that really helped make them look more authentic (even if I can't really ape his style 100%). Inspired by the success of the drawing game threads I've been shilling on /ic/ for months now I want to make a derivative one for /co/ using Gats' adorable fat little rutabaga designs.

Anyway, does /twgrl/ have a watermark I can smack on the bottom of this image? I imagine some of the people participating in those threads (most recent completed one: http://boards.4chan.org/ic/thread/2090184/tower-girls-15) would like to know you exist and it'd be the least I can do considering how much G-man has busted his balls thus far.

…actually I don't know why I bothered asking I think I'll just alter the one I use for mine which will take all of 5 seconds. Thanks again bruh.
