Hello just found this game a few days ago, thought it was interesting… loved the art style. However i found the rules a bit difficult to Interpret. Bit that is neither here nor there, on to my main point.

I will be creating a "Castlegirl" version of this game using already created stuff and some self made stuff. (Doubtful i will create any girls myself as i suck at the arts). But as you can tell by the template to your left i have an idea of what i wish to do. It is going to be a one shot game, no 2nd or 3rd editions (unless someone makes it themselves). I will be updating this board as i go along in the creation of said game. Expect a great reliance into using points and an end goal / boss you must conquer.

Most of what you see you know i imagine but i also added a new stat, the "thumbs up" which is your overall approval from your citizens as you build your new kingdom from the kingdoms of your waifus, aka the approval stat.

Also there is the new kingdom perks which will replace the deity idol. You get one as rescue the princess and unlock more view stat accumulated perks, items, so on and so forth. Not sure if i shall have the deity idols be a separate function or get rid of them all together. Will welcome any and all help in this, especially willing artists, perk ideas, ect ect. Will give a list of coming princesses i have planned to make.

What i have made so far, hope its to the liking of the forum.

There have been some changes since the first template but no plan survives the battlefield…

alright well here are some general rules iv been working on.

1. You may marry only 10 princesses unless an item grants otherwise.

2. You may carry only 8 items of aid unless an item grants otherwise.

3. Each princess carries 2 dowry items which may aid you in your quest, which you may accept or decline.

4. Each princess holds a love and lust gift granted to you if you max out their lust meter, this item is placed within your bedchambers and is not counted among the 8 armory items. You may hold as may love and lust items as you can acquire.

6. Love points are converted into lust points. Meaning you use another princesses love points to max out another’s lust meter… meaning threesomes ladies and gentlemen. (Note: some dislikes such as cheating or netorare, stop the increase of lust points unless nullified by an item)

5. Each princess has 2 kingdom perks which can strengthen your kingdom or indulge you in pleasures. You may be granted a perk as your kingdoms prosperity level grows.

7. A princess’s lust must be maxed out at all times to keep the love and lust gift, otherwise it is taken away from you.

8. Wealth may be used to buy items from the shop, these items may aid you or be used to indulge your own personal desires.

Interesting. I'm… not entirely sure how I feel about alterations to the princesses themselves, but that's a personal quirk. What I'm really curious about is your proposed game mechanics for this new version, though. Is it the same as the primary game, only with no cart, and more of a military/kingdom-building focus? Or is there going to be a system in place for actual gameplay (as opposed to merely being a waifu-simulator)?

I wasn’t satisfied with the mechanics of the original editions, while still fun, don’t get me wrong, there was no end goal other then to proclaim “These are my waifus, and this is how I did it.” Not a bad thing mind you but points didn’t do anything, and choosing much of the deities / items did nothing game wise they were just nifty side notes. My goal is to turn this into more of a proper game with a goal, a reason for what you are doing / collecting.

I am currently in the process of deciding how in-depth I wish to go with this project. What the general plot will be, how many princesses I should include, balancing issues as I don’t want any one princess be too powerful as to overshadow the others, but I have to keep in mid this IS about collecting waifus as well so personal taste takes factor. UGH!

But as for game play, so far my current mental build is this… You collect military points to defeat the big boss guy, needing to get a certain amount of points to do so with not having enough giving you different endings depending on your points acquired. For example you may utterly fail but choosing more pleasures then acquiring points and you and the princesses all die. Alternatively you could get enough to save yourself alone but all the princesses die. You could get enough to save only you and your waifus, or at the very best save everyone.

I want end games to actually mean something and not just be costumes you could otherwise make in your kingdom. For example maybe having everyone including yourself gives you an extra slap in the face as the big boss guy resurrects you to be his torture toy / power bottom… unless you are into that sort of thing. Then maybe just the torture. Saving certain sets of princesses could give you end game results like saving all the undead princesses grants you immortality, your body may waste away to bones but you look badass.

As for personally changing the art colors… Just more of a personal thing, I wanted the crowns to be actual gold, clothes to not confuse my eyes as just strange skin folds, just make it more colorful in general.

A question however I ask is would the forum want a more indepth fighting system? Maybe have totally military points be added to say a dice roll to determine damage done to the big boss guy in hopes of defeating him rather then multiple endings depending on total points collected… Sounds like more painful OCD work but if the interest is there ill consider it…

But please note all of this is in the early stages of development, I am also toying with many other ideas to merge into this game… possibly…

But honestly, I do understand the desire for more of a GAME in my Towergirls. As for your proposed method though, I do very strongly suggest rolls. Otherwise, instead of it being “These are my waifus, and this is how I did it” as you proclaimed, it becomes “These are my waifus, and this is how I got them while maintaining a favorably high military score". Basically the same as before, but with an additional requirement added in rather than just limit to cart size. …I also feel I must add that you'll need to add meanings to other things as well, such as wealth, approval, and so on, if you don't want them to just be empty stats at the end. And perhaps also some way of dealing with the filling of Love and Lust, given that lust gifts seems to have a direct effect on your stats and abilities at times.

As for the proposed possible endings, I'd hope at least one of them is just being conquered rather than death for everyone (you might still be dead though), and perhaps for the "you and waifus saved" ending, rather than total annihilation maybe your kingdom just suffered terribly or something. Devastated, but still there. Just ideas.

Oh, and I hadn't meant the art color changes for the princesses. Those I can see as being nice changes for the most part. I more meant things like… Slime princess went from negatives such as "May dissolve your dick" and "is that a skeleton" to needing to bath and keep her away from water. Her second fetish changed too. I can understand altering some of the dowries and such to make them useful and balanced in terms of gameplay, but it feels weird for me to have the character of who each princess is change. That's all.

I see, i understand your concerns and will take it into consideration. I was trying to go for more of a safe adventure for the hero but i have to remember to each their own tastes. Some people may enjoy having their dick dissolved, to each their own really.

As for a dice roll mechanic for the end boss battle… the problem will be balancing i think. Lets say for example the hero has a natural 1D6 roll as his base, then he would be woefully under-powered against the boss, does military strength points increase the roll size say having +4 military points gives instead of a 1D6 a 1D10… mind you i am using the most convoluted way to address this. OR do i add the +4 military strength a total plus, for example 1D6+4? I will have to test some stuff out i suppose.

But true. In my case, it's really not so much a matter of preferences so much as… having gotten so used to the princesses the way they are that I object to changes to them out of principle, I think. Like, a large part of DPI's character was how she wanted to grow a hoard to be the richest and most successful (as a dragon) amongst her sisters… but that she had issues with eating her hoard when hungry. But your version changes that to just liking treasure, eating livestock, and having a temper. All dragon things, true, but it's not the same princess I had grown to love.

I just used the slime princess as the example before as she was the first listed, not because I disliked her changes specifically. …although I'll admit, I preferred her original second fetish, and would rather have to deal with warding my junk against acid than have her slime get everywhere (I'm weird that way).

OH, and for the dice rolling… I'd suggest a flat addition for military strength, but a much larger die for the base roll. Just increasing the size of the die leaves you with the possibility of complete defeat no matter how strong you get (which can be silly at the higher ends) while a flat bonus with a d6 will result in there being very little chance involved, given that with 10 princesses plus the dowries and such you can probably manage +70 military strength or more, given that all three example princesses can grant you at least 9 points (10 for two of them).

My current thought for it is 2d20+military for the roll, and that the thresholds be along the lines of needing at least a 30 for anyone to survive, and more than the minimum 40 from the base roll to save any of your kingdom and princesses. But honestly, without more of the princesses done it's really hard to try to balance that part, since we don't know what people's ending military scores are going to look like.

Also a possibility if you really want more random chance, is something like 1d100 + Xd6 (where X is your military score). But again, that leaves some small chances of your military getting crushed no matter how huge it is. Which some people may not like.

Get the initial, and most popular, 20 from gen1 set out. Then move from there. That lets you do the whole dowry thing, and then you can adjust for gods and companions afterwards

Well, towergirls was always a mayflower, however, it would be really easy to get this going again - considering it's only small changes.

You can always see if there are people on 4chan eager to help. The princesses still get posted from time to time.
