Hiroyuki Nishimura is, in general, a pretty terrible person. He let people pay to remove undesirable content, DDOSed his site once they got rid of him for being a penniless fuck, and is just a mercenary fellow in general.

At least he's a greedy bastard instead of an SJW? Glad cuckchan is finally dying the death it was meant to. "Full circle" indeed.

Reading his Q&A was darkly funny. The dude barely knows what's going on. I'm guessing whoever was running things before (rapeape?) will continue to run things while Hiroshima acts as a cute engrish figurehead.

Why would we want that? Is there some reason we would want this guy to actually do anything? Even if 4chan made a txt board it would still have the same problems as the rest of the site such as horrible mods, infested with moralfags, etc.

How do you feel of Jim Watkins, former business partner of Hiroyuki and current owner of 8ch?

I watched the "press conference" and he pretty much did the same as Hiroyuki, repeatedly saying that he didn't sell user data. Not sure who to believe. I guess we'll have to see what becomes of the lawsuit Hiroyuki mentioned in the Q&A.
