Namely, what's your favorite monospace font? The game Elona only really supports monospace fonts, and I'm tired of the default font.
I just caught my son using Comic Sans.
I think I should kick him out of the house.
Rare punctuation & typesetting

The 'fleuron' or 'hedera' was a punctuation mark equivalent to a break between paragraphs, much like the pilcrow. ❦ It represents an ivy leaf, in most designs, hence the name 'hedera', or 'ivy' in Latin.
Could a macfag kindly provide "PCmyoungjo.ttf" from their font library? I've searched the whole internet for this thing and can't find it, despite it being on every macfag's computer.
I'm trying to find an font like this. Engineering look, pencil thin, angular.

/type/, I've been recommending http://monafont.sourceforge.net/index-e.html as the default font for ShiftJIS art on my sticky, but I'm not sure if this font even matches up the default AA format.
Say, can someone on Linux screenshot this AA and post it on this thread?:

I was going through my old /b/ folder today and I found some bad type specimens that I made for a very unpopular /b/ thread back in 2008.

Well this is an interesting board.
I'm going to be attempting to scratchbuild a warhammer codex in the future. My question for the folks who know of such things is what typeface/font best gives the impression of 'despair' while still being legible?. Something that curls back upon itself, that is riddled with decay. The black speech of Mordor given modern form essentially. Does such an assemblage of grimdarkness exist?

There used to be an absolutely huge archive of fonts (some really hard to get ones as well) curated by some guy on a certain private music tracker … if you know what I mean, you'll know what I mean.
Does anyone have a backup? He took it down.
So I currently use liberation sans for everything.
I am looking for a new font, true type, good kerning and it renders well when small. I currently use debian and the font rendering is pretty good. It will be used system wide.
Any suggestions? Bonus if it's not helvetica.

Hey BO, nice board, this could actually be really useful. The right font makes all the difference in the world at times, and it's hard to understand sometimes what makes it "right."
Anyway, gotta ask: how did you create ads for this? Did you get a betakey for the self-serve platform or something?

I need to identify this font. I know that the one used for the title is some modification of Anja Eliane, and it's likely that the credits one is also from the same family, but I can't seem to find it.
I have tried identifying it with several online find-my-font tools, but they failed (And I'm pretty sure they only know 1% most popular + sponsored fonts).
If anybody could help, that would be great.
