Yeah he does this in a number of threads. He did it to me multiple times actually. Once in a Mai HiME thread and another time in the fan fiction thread. He creates all the fan fiction threads btw. You can tell from the OP image of Xena. He would delete the thread and then repost it with the exact same image everytime.

Fucker has been spreading his propaganda for a long time now. A lot of the shit about how all the old shows sucked is likely from him and how certain authors aren't as good as others make them out to be as well I'm beginning to think. He's also responsible for just the general state of everything on /u/.

It is really infuriating when you realize how much content was permanently lost due to woodcuck's actions. Can't even go back to view some of the old threads I remember posting in anymore.

We are slowly growing. The board has gone from 3 active users, up to 12 and now around 30. I can run another ad campaign for 8ch. I don't think it will be that effective as the userbase on 8ch is only just stabilising after declining, and I'm sure most people on the site are aware of /u/.

I think anyone that takes time to read the rules and meta thread will find the board's stance on western content. When bringing more people in, there is always the risk that there is a few that will disagree with what has gone before and will want to change things. As I've said previously, I'm prepared to tighten the rules on western content further or even ban it completely. There doesn't seem to be any demand for it. /hentaiporn/ exists and is active for those that want western content. I would like to see feedback from the board before implementing any major rule changes.

If you haven't already, it could help if you fill out the favourite boards in options. Rather than having the top boards, at the top of the screen, you change it to the boards you visit the most. It makes it look a bit more like 4chanX.

Hey it's cool if you're just gonna lurk and post from time to time but it would be nicer if people communicate more and made an effort to respond to posts they find interesting.

I've personally been responding to any new posts I see recently on 8/u/ just so people will continue posting and keep the conversation going longer. Usually I'm lurker supreme when I browse but I find this has been helping to drive the board activity up.

Even if it is to meme or shitpost it helps when you are gonna create and post content on 8/u/ that you know someone will take the time to respond to it.
