This is a place for academic pursuit and intellectually curious.

This is a board is to emulate a university; any academic field welcomed. Math, history, science, engineering, technology, humanities, economics, and so forth.

Talk about MOOCs, OCWs, anything, as long as it's textbook-based, lecture-based, or something that allows group discussion and review of said content.

I have never actually come close to finding the answer to that question. Everytime I see a comically anthropomorphized banana holding his peel in a suggestive manner, likening the peel to clothes and his peel-less nature to human nudity, I bust up laughing. This happens every time, no matter where I am, be it the house or the bus or in class. Sometimes I laugh just thinking about it.

So why do we laugh?
