Due to the recent behavior of the /leftypol/ board owner, I've taken the liberty of making this board as an alternative to /leftypol/.
How will this board be different from /leftypol/?
All janitors will have to post in a designated sticky thread every time they delete, lock, or autosage etc listing their reasons for doing so.
Things regarding board moderation, customization etc will be discussed and rely on popular consensus in order to be enacted.
More to be added soon.

That sounds like a really good idea!
Anyways, I think this should be the public or external discussion part of the USSC, where we use another board on another site to discuss theory internally.
8chan, with all its shitposting ins not conductive for this purpose.

>>25Well like the OP said, we're going to have more then just thread IDs. The major thing is that users decide with the volunteers, not just the volunteers deciding for the users. Anything else you think we should have?

>>30Ookay fine ;) But are you willing to let me put my point forwards around a possible merger and not just go 'nah' when proposing a possible merger?
A lot of people seem to have misunderstood what the merger means. Often times, they seem to support it more when I get the chance to explain that it won't actually mean that we're not on 8chan anymore or that our board will be an echochamber.
Because the other board owner has not been very helpful in this regard.

Frankly, I think just getting better moderators and toning down the political zealousness would be ideal.
>Better mods means that /pol/ bait threads and SJW threads wouldn't be as much of a problem
>Not being as extreme as /leftypol/ would lead to less shitposting and flamewars
I don't know, its just a thought.
