I think it's a worthy endeavor to get alternative dub/sub companies support so that they can compete with Funi. There is to exist many english dubbing companies for anime and Funi ran them out of business once they started taking exclusivity rights for the most popular shows that aired on Toonami. 4kids was the last one, but they couldn't be sustained once they lost a heavy hitter like Pokemon and their bad reputation finished them off. Funi got popular when they claim to not be 4kids and did a decent job early on because they had to compete.
