Meteos on the DS. It's a sci-fi themes Tetris Attack game developed by Mashpotato Samurai himself. Each of the different planets all have different effects on the blocks. Some have low gravity or move with water physics, some have wells as wide as the screen, and other effects. Blocks don't spawn from the bottom row like in traditional TA games, but fall from the top, and they don't disappear once they're matched, and instead propel upward and out the top of the screen, and matching more as they shoot up pushes them faster.

The story mode has branching paths that unlock different content for purchase upon completion, which you can buy with the blocks you've launched during play. Content includes The different planets in free play, the music and sounds in the sound test, and other stuff I can't remember. Most of the music is sequenced loops that change given your performance, but the main menu and end credits songs are traditionally composed, and brilliant. I would absolutely love to hear a fully-fleged orchestral arrangement of these tracks.

Meteos is a great little game with way more on offer than it has any right to have, Sakurai did an excellent job with this one.

Outrun, the original arcade (both revisions) and early ports run at 30 fps and recent ports of Outrun namely the bing bing wahoo and the 3ds port run at 60fps. Don't touch the difficulty and timer at all.

Trails in the Sky, a comfy trilogy of JRPGs set in a nice world with wonderful characters and a bunch of edgy faggots who exist to tease for later games that aren't in the trilogy. Great music, okay gameplay, great setting, great quests that aren't fetch quests but require you to pay attention to the world if you want all the rewards and a script that's insanely long because every character in the game has something new to say every time you get something done.

It is one of the games that I considered putting on my phone but I can't play because fingers aren't accurate enough and it blocks the screen. iPhone faggots need realize why capacitive touch screen rarely works when alternative controls exist.

Play Spelunky.

I have a metric fuck ton of emulators on my cell (Samsung Note 8) and I use an 8bitdo Pro controller (like $40) to connect to my phone via blutooth.

Phones are getting scary powerful. my 3 year old pocket phone gets daily use and can still run Windwaker with only minor stutters and occasional slowdown
