PSA: The new jailbreak for 3.69 and 3.70 is now out, but you need to install it quickly before Sony locks the option out.

And most importantly, are you still having fun?

Just read the PSA already and get on it if you're on a problem version. This option is only temporary.

Apparently nothing is actually certain with LOLIcon yet but it's likely getting updates soon. Also while it won't affect Vita, Catherine Full Body's localization is looking to be censored. Just fair warning for people who might've been interested in it on other platforms.

>Yumeutsutsu Re:Master demo now available in Japan

>A demo for Yumeutsutsu Re:Master is now available for PlayStation 4, Switch, PS Vita, and PC (Steam) in Japan.

>Yumeutsutsu Re:Master is due out for PlayStation 4, Switch, PS Vita, and PC in Japan on June 13. The PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC versions will be released physically and digitally, while the Switch version will be digital-only. A western release was planned for spring, but that was announced before the Japanese version was delayed from its initial February release window. An updated western release window has yet to be announced.

I've played a bit of Yumeutsutsu demo released yesterday. Nothing that looked anormal although I prefer to give my final verdict once the full product is out next month by precaution, just like Your Diary+ (the latter already has a PSP version in any case)

UPPERS difficulty really jumps around chapter 5. Or at least, if there are mechanics I'm supposed to have learned in previous chapters, they really aren't demanded enough that when it really expects you to know them you you haven't and everything wipes the floor with you. I'll have to double-check the tutorial later but for now it's at Normal.

Also confirmed the same C1-6703-6 error with Helldivers if patched, and I definitely use games over 3.60. Strange, but you can just install the compatibility pack in pkgj and it'll be happy.

Finally, thread #14 "LOST BECAUSE OP IS A FAG" edition not so lost. https://archive.is/wlJl7 I'll eventually tidy the previous threads list proper.

Much appreciated.

Why not?

What is that corded box in those images? Is that how they have the water heater and gas done in Japan or something, just keeping it in the kitchen? I guess it makes sense if there's no garage or something to put it in.

Polite sage for not Vita.

99441c  No.16501098

Yep, they're water heaters.

A lot of nip apartments have the bare minimum in the way of kitchens. Some only have a microwave and cold water, so people buy these tiny heaters, ovens and stuff to be able to actually do shit in there.

Can't go wrong with Vanillaware games. Falcom games are good too, as are Atlus games.

XSEED/Marvelous puts out some decent stuff. Idea Factory puts out some fun stuff too, as does Sega. Nearly any game by them is a safe choice for quality and fun.

a5803a  No.16507154

Resident Evil 4: Lite with Danganronpa girls.

Interactions are fun to watch, and gameplay is serviceable enough. Soundtrack's pretty sweet, as usual for DR games.

209796  No.16507162

Girls being cute is to be expected from most anime games with an ounce of quality

Characters being fun is also to be expected from a VN that's not shit

How's the story? Worthwhile?

And is that an overall recommendation? Would you regret paying 15 bucks for a (preowned ofc, so NISA gets no money) copy?

Hm. That actually sounds pretty interesting overall.

I think I'm leaning towards biting the bullet then unless there's some information that would really make the game sour

cd2ae2  No.16507202

It's playable. I liked its core ideas, the two mains complement each other nicely, and as you'd expect from anything Danganronpa, the visual style, music, and nods to video games are pretty strong. Questionable story and ending. Also bad localization, and make sure you are playing with Japanese voices, they're a separate free DLC.

I figured people would rather talk games.

There actually are taiHEN plug-ins for various Sony controllers but none I'm aware of for non-Sony. I've not looked into these at all.

3260f0  No.16507203

I bought it brand new a couple years ago for the 360 (no point on getting the PS4/PC release if you're just gonna play the campaign) and it's trash; all the characters are annoying (everyone being charismatic despite being horrible human beings was one of the main selling points of this franchise), the missions are bland as fuck and chockfull of cutscenes, the cops are omniscient and will gun you down in three seconds flat if you don't take cover, you can't go innawoods to hunt game because firing a silenced pistol in the middle of fucking nowhere somehow gets you a wanted level (a rabbit reported you, probably) and the map is a clusterfuck so no proper chases. I don't think it's even worth pirating.

Too much stealth, the plot doesn't even matter until the last few missions. If you're gonna play an asscreed game go for either 2 (avoid the DLC and sequels, pretend it's a standalone game) or Rogue (pretty much the best in terms of gameplay, ship combat has been refined).

You can use a wiimote with a plugin, otherwise you're stuck with a DS3/DS4 unless you buy one of those $60 adapters.

Depends on what kind of games you enjoy. >>16503912

I recently tried Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed on Vita after hearing from an acquaintance the recent Sonic racing game was garbage (none the fun from Transformed was present). If it specifies 3.69 you are definitely risking a fuck-you from Sony in that window. It's been several weeks since Trinity was released, and honestly, I'm surprised it isn't already patched. I'd go for 3.68 or lower but ultimately it's your call. If it's cheap it might be worth the risk, you can always sell it later after all if things go wrong.

16fde4  No.16511333

Sony took around 2 months to patch out 3.65-3.68 h-encore exploit after its public release during last summer, so I assume it will take that much time for Trinity to get patched but it's indeed risky.

Nice to see that it runs well. Ports can run the spectrum of being smooth to only being playable with overclocking.

I'm a bit frustrated with my vita on account of the memory card is like….crashing/fucked. Half the time games just don't load and I get weird messages from installing. I got the 64 gig one on the premise of "All that shit I heard about those sometimes failing? I'm a chad that can't happen to me" but here we are. Consequently I haven't really played my vita in a while.

c483e3  No.16511402

Official memory cards are notorious for that. Should have cracked your vita and used an SD card.

16fde4  No.16511411

Try to rebuild your database and the games that were corrupted. If the problem still persists, then yeah the card has become faulty. They are. But you can only use them on hacked systems, and with other people having issues, make sure you order two. Even then they're much better value than official cards.

Also how are the micro USB adapters for older Vitas? I'm worried about my proprietary cord. Ultimately I'll need USB access and video streaming to work, not just charging.

346f80  No.16511516

Speaking of failing memory cards, how does one back up an (official) vita memory card assuming the vita is already hacked? This kind of talk always gets me a little paranoid

cd2ae2  No.16511524

Same way you do normal SD to SD. Copy the entire folder tree over! The caveat is with official memory cards (and internal storage) they use a weird filesystem that cannot be USB accessed on all OSes. In those situations you may need to use FTP, or possible you can mount the SD on a different point and copy on the Vita itself.

These fucking Rachel chapters in Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus are fucking cancer, whoever thought this shit was a good idea should be shot. Girl has no flying swallow, no guillotine throw, no izuna drop, no two button launcher, her ranged tool sucks (she has to stay still to use it, and it misses all the fucking time) and she's slow as shit, and despite being a goddamn turtle she has no more health or defense than Ryu. And they have the nerve to throw nothing but the fast demons at you in her chapters, so enjoy spamming UTs in the corner to get those annoying little niggers off your back just so you can deal with the big demons that look like greymon without getting interrupted mid-combo.

I am not going to play the sequel i've heard it's a shit port anyway nor am i going to beat this one in its hardest difficulty, however i am going to buy Black, 2 and Razor's Edge for the 360 because these games are pretty fucking good better than DMC imo and those three have little to no girl chapters, iirc only Razor's Edge has them but they're extremely short and the girl you're forced to play as is even faster than Ryu.

Currently testing a bunch of personal custom PS1 eboots on Adrenaline before I share here. I cant say they're 100% guaranteed to work flawlessly but they should be solid enough. Otherwise feel free to notify me if something went wrong although I wont be able to do much besides changing the compression method (they're set on "worst" level 1 by default to prevent audio desync and eventual slowdowns) as Adrenaline is incompatible with POPSLoader. Would have loved to share some screenshots but POPS doesnt really like the pngshot plugin, I get corrupted purple/green pictures instead thanks doc even when changing the resolution to "Normal" or "Full" in the POPS official settings.

Anyway here's a vidya adaptation of an anime classic, where you play as a male OC character recently transferred into the Bokuto police station. It plays overall like a visual novel although you have to manage patrols around the tokyo metropolitian zone each day and there is also a couple of minigames present (such as a duel against Strike-man pitches)

>>Also with that link I assume you'll cross-post them to the share thread as well?

Once I'm done testing a few more, thus ready to share them. That said, I'm meeting more problems on western releases than JP releases. Bugs Bunny Lost in Time always gets a black screen after the language selection screen, Heart of Darkness is completely buggy, and Looney Tunes Sheep Raider has a massive slowdown when pressing O to run away as well as an audio delay during cutscenes (really noticeable in the introduction sequence and the tutorial explanations are cut short in the last second). Kinda a pity because I liked those games when younger. I have yet to report such issues, early ones at least, on the JP releases (Tondemo Crisis, Refrain Love, Nurse Story, etc) I've converted so far

>>Wonder if it'll officially happen with Vita too

It's obscure enough I can't even find a picture or what it looks like but there is actually an overheating warning built into the system. I've never run into it with 444/333 overclock though. Also environment is recommended at 5°C - 35°C.

In case of FullKiss yeah it was censored and I suspect by the policy (no idea however if the board requested to make changes or if it was a preemptive action). RepKiss, a VN from the same publisher released on Vita/PS4 in 2017 had no problems showing some nude skin or panties. Also no Switch, in general Entergram seems reluctant with this platform with only a very few offerings that are digital-only. Soi Kano ~Gyutto Dakishimete~ on Switch has the same edited pictures on par with the Vita/PS4 version for instance.

The localization is probably a lost cause. I suspect even if they could make a Switch port, it'd be in doubt just because of how many potential markets banned the game. Australia and Germany go without saying, but New Zealand are weird, and the United Kingdom moreso, on top of being where PQube are based so that's probably playing a part too.

At the moment the best you can hope is an unofficial translation like Omega Labyrinth, or learning Nip. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Trimming is an unfortunate factor at times (I know Mato had to resort to some custom character set that combined two letters into one character space to bypass doing so with Mother 3, for example), especially considering how much more kanji can say in a lot less characters, but can they not manage a variable width font or something? Still, if >>16523451 is supposed to be a screen shot of the game, I can see how character portraits eat into what room could otherwise be available.

Also if you ask me whatever font used there has some odd spacing between various letters that could be eating into the available pixel space even further, even it's just room for another letter per line.

Might as well ask why no one's apparently thought to bring lanyn in for a patch of Tales of Rebirth or Tales of Destiny 2, considering he/she has translation scripts for both games over at gamefags. Though admittedly I'm not sure if they'd be down for having their work used as such, even if credited, but on the opposite side, some people that start projects just don't want to share credit space with others, or (understandably) don't trust someone else's work to necessarily be accurate.

cd2ae2  No.16537624

It's easy enough to explain. Some people who understand translation may not have enough knowledge or motivation to tear apart the script rendering parts, especially if they're handled in a hack-ish crappy manner. Generally speaking any ROM hack should test on the actual hardware too otherwise you risk locking it to sub-standard emulators. PS1 hacking also has its own problems distribution-wise in that there's not any good standards for patching and I'd say, less interest in and knowledge of the hardware.

On a related topic since it was just script editing, the Neptunia Re;translations still need a few flubs corrected with text overflow and typos.

I don't either. But again I suspect it's more to do with the UK at this point. In Australia, "Films, computer games and publications that are classified RC cannot be sold, hired, advertised or legally imported in Australia." and I'd expect similar from their Nanny State for even making it even if not distributing locally. On a tangent, surprisingly, Gun Gun Pixies only hit MA15 here, original is CERO D, and PEGI 16 in the EU.

You really believe that? It sounds more like some shitty deflection strategy by Sony, just shift the blame. Why would a ban in the UK/Australia affect the worldwide release as a whole? Valkyria Drive got banned in some countries but that didn't stop them.

They still could have made an Asia English release, or hell, just release a patch for the Japanese version. Anything to not have it be a complete waste. It makes no sense from a financial standpoint to just completely drop it unless they had no other choice.

cd2ae2  No.16538580

No I'm basing it on the UK banning the game, and that's where PQube are located. They aren't in the "Asia" region. But being blocked in 4 separate markets likely doesn't help. Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni was only in Australia and Germany.

Didnt play on Vita for this one because Sekai Project was taking awfully long to port it over. I'm reading right now that it has sometimes slowdowns (i suppose during boss fights) and there are bugs/crashes at specific points with no patches yet. My bad for mentioning it.

I also tried Chasm which was alright in my book, but I recall people were disappointed about the randomly generated map when that feature was announced during its Kickstarter development.

Also in case of musous >>16537114 I could recommend One Piece Kaizoku Musou 2 & 3 which I both liked. The second has its own storyline (dark dials making everyone go DARKNESS) and is jap-only, while the third is more faithful to the manga's story (up to Dressrosa's arc with its own ending since the game was released before the arc was finished so no Gear 4) while introducing all-out combo attacks and a few more characters (Doflamingo and Admiral Issho are broken but fun characters). They could benefit from a bit of lolicon plugin too, but I've still enjoyed both games years ago

Through searching on GBATemp, I found that the english patch is compatible with the JP version fo the game. Looks like I'm getting Next Order.

a2dcd9  No.16539303

Can confirm, the port is kinda bad. Slowdown is prevalent through out the game. Loading takes forever and some of the menu sprites look like they have bad compression. Every single dialog has a stutter when advancing text which is quite annoying. Additionally, they some how managed to screw up the resolution when porting over and they missed a row of pixels on the top. This wouldn't be such a big deal but if you use lolicon, the upper edge of the 'Configuration Loaded' text gets stuck there, leaving a dozen or so bright green pixels on the upper edge of the screen.

7928e1  No.16539325

Chasm was fucking shit. These kind of games live off good level design, it was just boring with its random generated rooms. It didn't even have any interesting set-pieces at all.

Yeah I certainly don't recommend giving Sony money for anything at this point in time.

>Why would a ban in the UK/Australia affect the worldwide release as a whole?

Pqube operates out of the UK, and the ratings board there refused to rate it, but not only that, they adamantly called it out as being CP. Might be a factor that if they kept working on it, they could have gotten in actual trouble with the government even if they didn't do a native UK release, but it could also just be that SCEA and SCEE took note after hearing that and simply didn't want anything like it in the western market from their own end whether or not they agreed with the refusal to rate reasoning. Maybe if Pqube was based out of NA it could have been avoided since ESRB had already cleared it under an M rating, though it's not as if localization companies based here aren't wrought with their own issues.

>Valkyria Drive got banned in some countries but that didn't stop them.

I'd assume most of the world just sees games banned in both countries and writes them off as Germany and Australia being Germany and Australia, because it's long since become typical.

20e449  No.16539758

You aren't the only one that feels that way. Most of the classes in Mary Skelter felt the same or just plain outclassed by sharing a certain skill to another class. File: d0cdd2beae0e853⋯.jpg (70.43 KB, 1000x512, 125:64, DgilnYYX4AAGKWN[1].jpg)

They wouldn't have gotten in trouble with the UK government or ratings board if they didn't release in the UK. The rating boards of the UK explicitly stated (in their statement) that they had no problems with them releasing the game in other countries and that their judgement only affected the UK.

Considering the exceptional delays Pqube went through with announcing the actual cancellation, and explicitly blaming the platform holder (Sony) for the cancellation of the game, It can safely be assumed they were trying to get it released in some way, shape or form. Sony can safely be assumed to hold the lion's share of the blame, with the UK rating boards taking a partial blame at best. PQube repeatedly talked in the past about how they work with the rating boards as best they can, if the rating boards were to blame for this case they would have included them as a party in their statement, but they did not. In fact, they practically exonerated them from the blame in their statement with how they worded it and place pretty much all of it on the "Platform holder" (Sony).

209796  No.16539966

Forgot, but here's an article with the VSC's (UK Rating Board) statements and clarifications

>Whilst it is true that the game received a PEGI 18 rating, in the UK the VRA requires us to further consider issues of ‘harm’ which may result from a game being released. This question of harm is applied to all and every game we receive. It is unfortunate that on this occasion it was found necessary to refuse certification to this particular game. However, this decision was not taken lightly. Two clinical psychologists and a senior lawyer gave opinion on the viability of the game and concluded that it was likely that the material was in conflict with the law. This notwithstanding, the VSC Chair and Vice Chair also considered, independently, the viability of the game and ultimately concluded that it was not viable in the UK. The game remains available in mainland Europe where UK laws have no bearing.

a5803a  No.16539996

Exactly, they go out of the way to mention Sony as the culprit. In comparison for example, Bamco (with Berseria's censorship on the early Laphicet scene) mentioned that they didn't want to get a 16+ rating. They didn't specifically mention the board, but since they said 16 it was pretty much a given it's PEGI, as ESRB doesn't have a 16 level.

(doubtful it was going to be USK, pretty much every Tales of has a 12 rating, even Xillia 2).

Right, I remember people wailing after they tried to import the Sony cards and got fucked. No it's a slim, so any SD will do?

cd2ae2  No.16545016

It's not that. All Vitas only support the proprietary memory cards. To use one of the SD card adapters though needs jailbreaking, and that requires either internal storage (Slim) or a memory card (non-slim). The one possible exception is with SD2Vita and 3.60 or lower there is MLThaku which I think can do the basic setup without that but I don't know and haven't tested it.

0bf0e6  No.16545023

Shit, so I still have to import a Sony card and get myself fucked?.

cd2ae2  No.16545037

No no slims are fine. Order an SD2Vita (or two given the possibility of issues). The only time memory cards are needed is to break non-slims since they have nowhere to install VitaShell and H-Encore and such. Even those systems can have its storage shuffled a bit after to support essential homebrew apps for recovery and such, but that's a risky process and I don't document it.

273e57  No.16545245

You don't have to import anything. Just buy the smallest and cheapest memory card for Vita that you can find locally. It's more than enough to hack it. After it's hacked you can get an SD2Vita adapter and use a micro sd card instead.

0bf0e6  No.16545445

cd2ae2  No.16545462

Well you won't need it if it's a slim but keep it. Also you should be fine if you've done Wii and PS3, I also have, and Vita's one of the easier systems to break. Still ask if there's any doubt.

273e57  No.16546001

Good luck but like the other anon said, it's impossible to fuck this up if you already did Wii and PS3. Vitas are rather hard to brick.

Here's another batch of custom PS1 eboots for PSP/Vita I've made

>Burger Burger - Hamburger Simulation

Simulator game where you create and customize your fast-food branch, invest your business and compete against other branches

>Forget me not -Palette-

Spiritual predecessor of the other original RPG Maker games like Yume Nikki and Corpse Party. You play as a blind girl trying to remember her past by visiting rooms and diving into memories when she inspects the outline shapes of items .

>Princess Maker - Yumemiru Yousei (Princess Maker 3)

>Refrain Love 2

>Riven - The Sequel to Myst (Europe - English)

Biggest PS1 eboot so far (2.5GB separated in 5 discs)

Ryu ga Gotoku Isshin and Zero have those inputs set to the rear touchscreen, but other PS4 titles (like EDF5) force you to use the touchscreen indeed. Speaking of Yakuza Zero, there was a neat Vita app that download/upload your save from the japanese PS3/PS4 version, with the arena mode, a bunch of gambling games and four arcade sega mini-games (with Super Monkey Ball Special among them). Isshin has also a similar Vita app.

Apparently the original Akiba's Trip on PSP is getting remade, albeit for PS4 and PC only. But it's pushing me to give Akiba's Trip 2 another play from scratch. I'll be trying for Shion's route as first but it hardly matters if I fail when you can't obtain everything first loop without the strip skills maxed and stuff is locked away on anything under max difficulty. I'll be trying the fist weapons this time around too they seem a lot more fun.

Also does anyone here have the original de-censor mod? Not the nude mod. I just want to remove the light flares and leave the pasties intact.

That or it's a gradual thing. I don't think they sync up when PSN starts to block old firmware. In any case better safe than sorry.

Forgot just how awful the 48 idols round 2 was. It's just a grind of enemies with incredible reach and speed, and oftentimes prolonged by their amazing sun-resistant ribbons. At least it was followed by revenge against her kind. I've never really clicked to the fighting system in general, and I think the blocking mechanic is probably the worst part with the sheer damage and the fact you can regenerate your health as it were. The core brawling with the moveset variety seems solid though, actually reminds me a bit of God Hand in aspects like the way some moves evade high or launch enemies.

Also I've no idea who Susanna Hopkins is but I like her model and expressive face. The plain ridiculous stuff in general.

Only if you want to play such games. I used total randoms to test it and it certainly looks like a lot of indie-type stuff. Also one aspect that sucked is that installing them didn't make them appear in the LiveArea until I rebuilt the database and that trashes the layout.

Wonder if I can replace the anime screening with Kodomo no Jikan's ED. It is just a video file. Won't have audio since no video has it inside MOGRA, but it'd be funny. The screens in the subway I just replaced with a lewd slideshow, and the rest were replaced with random game PVs including for itself and the anime, at least that's the intent. I'm not sure what the limits are for filesize or length but the screens are just black if it's done wrong, no crash.

Port seems workable except for the lack of gyro aiming, but admittedly I haven't played it for long, so if what >>16582986 says it may decay in performance as you explore more of the world, and like Terraria, the console versions typically aren't up to what the PC version is, and their exclusives are typically minor, like the Danganronpa skins in Japanese Terraria.

Super Robot Wars A Portable is tearing my asshole with the insane difficulty holy shit

>enemies often overwhelm you and are backed up by one or several bosses at once

>bosses all fuck off if their HP fall below a certain number (except in rare scenarios, such as the finales of an anime serie)

>if you cant oneshot them before their retreat, you're denied items and extra money that could massively upgrade your units. Killing only the normal units dont pay the bills.

>Char and other mobile suit bosses have low HP but they're extremely swift, making hard to land hits unless you waste SP points in case of super robot units/battleships or counterattack them with your own mobile suits

>any mission that involve allies/NPC units is a fucking torture because you cant control or heal them, they can eventually steal your kills (and sometimes items), make bosses retreat or get killed by bosses

At least the game doesnt have secrets based on your total amount of turns, and you can kinda cheat your way by continuing from a Game Over as you keep your earned funds and experience (unlike other SRW games where you're denied SR points and secrets based on total amount of turns). Koji (Mazinger Z), Kazuya (Daimon), Domon (G Gundam), Amuro (Char's Counterattack), Kamille (in Char's red modified suit, it's a secret item you get by defeating him to 0 HP in scenario 7) are my best units so far.

I liked Terraria on Vita even if the controls dont exactly feel the same as the PC version.

Well that worked fine. As far as limits to this I've seen a bit under 4 minutes and 13.6MiB work fine, but also you must use yuv420p or it won't work, like here with some browsers and WebMs. I don't know why the one Sonico video in the game has no audio, it should have been able to fit.

Gameplay-wise I'm having a hard time in the last two arena battles, in part because only my headwear is maxed, and enemies usually only take a couple of hits even then. The crowd control aspect is a big pain when you want to do chain-strips and the enemies keep getting in the way of each other. Switched to the golf club which has a pretty fun moveset except for its super which is like the aluminium bat. Super armor special moves are really irritating.

Also the sister does this cute thing I didn't know.

Terraria feels better on 3DS in my experience just for the touch controls, but I'm really feeling like trying that again. I never beat it, only got to the second half on 3DS.

Just an advice, pressing L+R+Select+Start at once will reboot the game, you will rely on this a lot due of this game's difficulty and as you can only load a suspend save (saving in the middle of a mission) from the menu title.

Cleared Shion and Rin's route, just two more left since I didn't get true Tohko. One thing that sucks in this game is that breast size is set by what you're wearing so for some girls it's like they're really padding themselves when stripped, Sonico especially is approaching pettanko without her outfit! Conveniently though my current model has nice big ones and so does her current highly fashionable red-white schoolgirl costume, plus bikini liners which approach the de-censor mod.

If clothes get destroyed during the final boss it won't be buyable from the junk shop on NG+ and almost lost my 999 King's Crown. Luckily I didn't save but unluckily (?) that playthrough had one of the enemies drop the anti-grav movement item and it's normally something you get after clearing the 4 routes, but can rarely drop from certain enemies, and it didn't happen the second time. Weapon-wise, the two mains gauntlet ones are just fun as hell. Soga's powered sword is extremely lopsided with crap super, crap lower, but amazing mid and high that are also just as good at destroying clothing, also an issue I found with the golf club's wide swings since enemy HP management is so critical to getting clothes and chain-strips. Magic wand feels kind of mediocre despite its cute sparkles, so I might try Shizuku's weapon out.

Also somehow missed it but XSEED did the "localization", and NISA's involvement were publishing it in Europe, for some reason. It's definitely NISA QUALITY though.

Strangely I thought that was a generic soft-reset for PS1, but it's all L and R triggers, and only for some games. Notably FF7 for RNG manipulation of chocobo breeding.

Same old. Shizuku done, hit Tohko's route. This time around made use of the "skin colour" option (read: naked gyaru, it's actually designed for tans). Cutely, found out the womanizer dudes occasionally get ignored, and once in a while score where him and the girl run off. Usually they just get bitchslapped though. They also aren't above hitting on your cute little sister. Weapon-wise, Shizuku's is great across the board with its super being the best. Shion's super is ordinary but her standard moves are more varied with additional effects. Gohei is fun for juggling enemies but is somewhat meh otherwise.

Finished lately Metal Slug 2 and 5 from the PSP Anthology, the fifth one had some really bullshit sections while most of my deaths in the second game were just a lack of attention and carefulness. I'm continuing Super Robot Wars A Portable (just finished the Space Route) and plan to start the full version of Yumeutsutsu Re:Master (the pictures from >>16500956 ). Hilariously, the VN has already a patch and it's the biggest one I've seen in a japanese VN.

>We fixed typo errors and unintended display images

>834MB big (since it replace a single big file)

I'll try out in any case if the patch is somehow nasty but I can confirm the PS4 version wasnt censored from a stream I saw on Youtube, around the part where the writer is washing herself in the kitchen sink as well as the opening.

I also contributed a few things, once again JP-related, for NPS which should appear soon

f98852  No.16607485

Alright, thanks. I already have Enso and such installed (need to check whether I've got Adrenaline, though), so I should be good.

I'm asking because on the 3DS, at various points older homebrew methods became obsolete (menuhax to a9lh, a9lh to b9s), so I was wondering if anything like that happened with the Vita, but apparently not.

b20d74  No.16607499

Finished Tohko. Had the same problem of getting my expensive headgear shredded by the final boss, but it showed up for purchase on NG+ that time, weird. Might try Minecraft for a bit now I need something comfier.

3.65 has little reason to go to 3.60, but any other firmware above or below it should be upgraded/downgraded to 3.60 and both support the boot-up entrypoint. What's even more important than that though, is you're using modern game copying standards. "Migrating to current standards" of the guide tries to bring people up to speed on that front.

My impressions of Vita Minecraft are I'm surprised it was able to fit on there and that it seems to run OK too. The main issue is distant terrain pop-in (or close if in the gliding mini-game) but I suspect issues with the SD as it is, since other games have been erratic at times. Also there is no gyro aiming, purely stick, so that can get annoying but I'm generally able to aim at things OK.

Which was it that got foreign censorship to remove that disgustingly lewd head caressing mini-game it was on mobile from memory.

Anyone else had this problem with PS1 games where suddenly it would speed up, and would only go to normal after exiting adrenaline. It's happened to me only with FF8 but it's annoying.

Very interesting that the Vita is still getting new releases but the 3DS scarcely has 3 games after this May. Is this anything to look forward to at all, or is it just news because its the final Vita game for a publisher.

How do I know if my saves for my physical carts are backed up? I used CMA but I'm a little scared it didn't back up properly or something since the Vita handles saves weirdly. The PSP core on the Vita handles all the save files individually, whereas the Vita seems to have a single "image" (Where everything is combined) to back up from which seems really inconvenient.

I'm in an awkward position with Trillion where, thanks to limited save slots (thanks a fucking lot IFI), I'm stuck having to possibly overwrite a save slot and thanks to the nature of the game that could be an issue.

Moreover, I assume there is no way to restore individual save files as a result of this, instead everything will be restored?

I really hate how much stress this game has given me; meta issues like limited save slots frustrate me to no end, but so far at least I love it to absolute death.

Use vita save manager, QCMA should only be used to backup/restore essential files and screenshots, not saves or full games.

08558f  No.16614943

It saves them in ux0:data/savegames, you can copy them wherever you want later. And unlike cma, it has multiple slots, you don't have to fuck around with files manually. And qcma is extremely unstable for me, it randomly disconnects and the last time I tried to restore something it fucked up my whole system, so I ended up factory resetting it to return to normal, so I just manually copy the important files by VitaShell FTP/USB, and only use this cma abomination when I don't have a choice, like when VitaShell's media import refuses to work.

4080bd  No.16615016

I found out the reason. Sometime ago, the developer of Adrenaline added the ability to speed up PSX games using the combination L+select, which I happen to do a lot because FF8's minimap is small and I need to rotate the map sometimes.

In terms of FF8, it's alright, I'm not feeling the same sense of urgency or excitement as I was in 7's disc 1. Perhaps that will change, but I have heard people give it mixed reception. After I finish this game, I'll likely go and play a native Vita game again, but I'm not sure what.

209796  No.16615447

This is fuckall confusing

I tried backing up to save slot 1 (which was fluctuating in its playtime digit between 0 and 1) and it closed save manager with an error

When I booted it up again, all the numbers looked different and when I try to back up any slot it says "could not copy directory"

>Tales of Phantasia Full Voice Edition (PSP)

Was Narikiri Dungeon X not available or something? Just saying, since as far as I know, the version of Phantasia bundled with it (Tales of Phantasia X) not only included the Full Voice treatment, but also increased the combat fluidity to be on par with Eternia. Makes me wonder if there's much merit to the prior FVE version at this point.

Wonder if anyone will do a script rip patch from one of the other versions of Scarlet Grace for use with the Vita.

Well it works for me on 3.60 Ensō so yes, that was probably written around the time update365 was the only way to have it jailbroken at that firmware.

FF8 definitely has the reputation of being the black sheep of the 3 on PS1, but some people like it. Never played it myself, only finished FF7 and got a fair way through FF9.

There is one big difference. Savemanager decrypts saves too, meaning you can import them on any Vita easily and not worry about accounts requiring no additional steps there.

While it's not exactly my first crash (which were very rare so far since using h-encore for one year), I've never seen that error before. None of the many retro roms I've tested gave that kind of issue, so I suspect it's probably a bad rom or something although it wouldnt do to do a re-check of my tai folder just in case too. I do recall that I got those roms from various sources in the past before downloading the No-Intro dumps.

>Is this anything to look forward to at all, or is it just news because its the final Vita game for a publisher.

Experience makes nice dungeon crawlers, but this one isnt exactly a whole new game but a remake of Entaku no Seito (Students of Round on Xbox360 and The Eternal Legend on PSP). That said, Experience has also the weird quirk to support even the Xbone in Japan (despite being the worst-selling console with barely 100k in hardware sales there, which is far lower than the previous Xbox systems), which kinda did bite the company in the ass as Yomi wo Saku Hana is in development hell since its announcement in mid-2016.

Narikiri Dungeon X is available on NPS I believe, but I wasnt exactly sure if the Tales of Phantasia built-in that version was the same as the Full Voice edition, so I decided to buy the latter when it was on sale just like the other Tales Of PSP games (for 1000yen) what i contributed last saturday isnt still present on the public database so i guess ill have to beg again to fix it or re-upload them

Good for you, my vita crashes/freezes about 2-3 times every day. Until now I just assumed henkaku is unstable as shit. I mean, you do an invalid memory access and the whole os freezes in 25% of cases, like with windows 98. (But sometimes it breaks even when I'm not doing anything funky) Welp.

I'm very cautious when it comes to plugins, and I know this can be the main source of instability (especially if the list order in the config txt is incorrect). I only installed so far reF00d, nonpDRM, storagemgr, rePatch, shellbat, pngshot, and udcd_uvc. The sole previous times I had to hard reboot my Vita were a corrupted PS1 custom eboot (Heart of Darkness) and one weird instance where it couldnt load anything from the Livearea.

So far I haven't hit any performance issues with Minecraft but am using 444/333 LOLIcon, and haven't built anything very adventurous that might cause problems, unlike the time I drained water into the hell area in Terraria on 3DS where it started chugging hard. My main problem is that the game autosaves sometimes, but it isn't very clear when it will. It pops up a countdown warning that can be hard/impossible to read depending on the background, and sometimes just does it whenever it wants. Nothing that has caused issues though thankfully.

You can always post URLs and keyfiles for games. That's all you actually need, at least for games, and with pkg_dec. The rest is more metadata and/or further verification.

You either have something wrong with your config as per >>16616827 or your SD card or Vita is wonky. I get a few issues with load times since I suspect my SD is getting older but nothing as bad as you're describing. My crashes are only from crappily coded games. If in doubt post your config.

08558f  No.16617219

I don't remember my vita having these kinds of problem before I jailbroken it, so hopefully that's not the problem. Before my SD2Vita arrived, I've used my vita without an SD card for a few weeks, and it was the same.

Unfortunately some of the duplication glitches don't work in this version, but also now I've put a minecart track in it shows the slow chunk loading fairly badly when it's at speed, and things like pistons show performance hiccups too. Currently seeing how far up you can go in this by building up to the heavens. I'm assuming it's the 512 or whatever it was expanded to from early versions. Shame it's not "infinite" up and down with floating islands like Minetest.

Also I can manage the stick aiming but really really wish it had gyro for fine-tuning. Skeletons are total knobs, but even just regular building is slower without the speed of a mouse.

He's referring to an Ensō fork which allows for things like a custom boot splash, including animated ones. I wasn't game enough to test it just for that but it shouldn't have issues like that. Also no point using the official memory cards, it's basically only useful for Adrenaline where you can specify alt paths for ISOs, but just having one big SD card is far better across the board.

At some point, retroarch on vita had the neko pc-98 emulator core, but it was removed sometime last year or 2017. The psp neko emulator doesn't support the later models of the pc-98 from the 90s. Of course there are. Anything Vanillaware for a start. But if that's a hang-up are you sure this is the system you want?

It's harmless and optional actually as long as it's loaded fairly late. Loading it means you can boot Adrenaline without unsafe homebrew enabled, and even with that toggled, it double-loads the first time if you don't load the plug-in.

Thanks for reminding me someone was doing an open implementation of EoSD (and others I think) that went nowhere.

The only games i can truly recommend are killzone mercenaries and hotline miami, god of war collection is an horrible port but the games themselves are good, so if you can stomach N64 graphics, sub 25fps framerate, compressed audio and 4:3 blurry cutscenes i'd say go for it. Gundam breaker 3 technically also has anime girls in it but you will be too busy wrecking enemy mechas and taking their scrap to even notice.

Vanillaware games do have anime girls, momohime, okoi and the fox sisters' design clash with the edo period art style, and odin sphere has a ton of cute anime girls as enemies, the entire fire and fairy realms are full of them in fact.

ff1d8d  No.16639191

I'd say the overall visual style is distinct enough to exempt them. It's not generic anime like Atelier or Senran is for example.

43e831  No.16639742

Muramasa has anime-styled girls and things yes, but its much more a traditional or studio ghibli style than contemporary

Odin Sphere is highly stylized, but its closer to western style than eastern. Its a big stretch to call anything in it anime, even the fairies (though they are closer than some of the other things)

Found this interesting piece of news regarding the progress of negroarch on the vita. A bounty has been put for hardware acceleration support for the emulators. In theory, this means that there's less of a load on the cpu and doing software rendering, and getting better native n64 emulation, helps with some SNES games, and possible cores for other more recent consoles. Here's the link, I might pitch in ten bucks or so to make it happen. https://www.bountysource.com/issues/75980019-feature-request-gxm-driver-for-hardware-acceleration-on-ps-vita

It adds a lot of flavor to a chart and really makes it nice, in my opinion.

>shortly after, the last mission in the JF route has a "SURVIVE!" objective where you have to face unlimited robot enemies and additional elite reinforcements for 10 turns, while your sole battleship is stuck on the middle of the map

It's sterile because I'm not an artist. The layout is cargo-cult copied from a previous attempt too. If anyone wants to try the header and footer are just images, as long as the width, and possibly background colour is matched, it's fine.

Oh I never mentioned that Konosuba shooter game which I at least did a 1cc on Normal. Generally speaking the game is nothing special but it's not bad. Stage 6 has one particularly atrocious gimmick where taking the wrong path will lead to getting trapped and dead, but it's indicated by which aren't the path of least resistance so it was only once, and Megumin's EXPLOSION can destroy said walls too. The final boss can basically pull a "You are already dead" if you get hit by one of his attacks but at least on Normal it's a pretty simple one to avoid. You have access to the 4 mains as playable, plus a couple of unlockable ones (the thief girl and I think Megumin's sister so far, I haven't watched the entire anime yet to be sure) which each have varying stats for movement speed, attack type, HP, and such, but you can also acquire partners throughout which do super moves. Aqua can heal you, Megumin does what Megumin does, Kazuma steals random upgrades, and such. Environment plays a part where you move slower in water as the notable one, and you also have a basic upgrade system where you can visit shops along the way to buy things like HP, faster attacking, and panties (I don't know if they do anything but why not). Cutely you have the option of making the shops sell worthless trinkets, and Darkness unable to hit anything, there are some nods to things from the series like the pause window. Also it uses anime Aqua so her death has pixel butt and not shimapan. If you enjoyed the anime it's worth a play.

Someone's looking to port Daedalus to Vita proper rather than using the crutch that is Adrenaline. I don't think it's ready yet. In any case the repo has moved. Compatibility is on their wiki along with other helpful information.

I'm going to go back on my word, recent nightlies of Retroarch on vita has a working PC 98 emulation core. Working as in I've been able to boot up 2hu games, although they don't run too well right now, but I haven't tried overclocking either.

Oh nice it's one of those games where there's a difficulty gulf. Hard is not that much worse than Normal, while Death has much more relentless enemies. Sucks for Megumin since she uses a controllable familiar to attack and cannot move while doing so. Also this is how you test your button mashing.

I doubt overclocking would help a lot even if it works. The thing is unless you do 500/333 it isn't actually being overclocked. Games can request the system to run at 444/333 if they need more power, all LOLIcon really is is an override function of sorts since some games are too conservative and run like shit as a result.

Is it worth pirating FF7 and 9 on the vita? I tried 4 and 6 but couldn't get into them for some reason. Should I give it a shot?

ff1d8d  No.16660692

Hard to say. You may or may not find the load times unbearable with 7 and especially 9, try it in emulator first (Mednafen with or without RetroArch is best for PlayStation, it will need BIOS files to work). I've only completed 7 but have made a fair bit of progress in 9 and it's definitely the better one mechanically and story-wise, while 7 is the sort you play to break the fuck out of. I like both games for their visual style with the 2D and 3D. Ironically I haven't finished 6 either, I got to World of Ruin, but never finished it, just getting to that point took multiple attempts.

Note there is no continuity as such so playing them in any order is fine. Try 9 first.

21ff0b  No.16660929

Does the change to digital format not help them much in that regard? I remember playing a custom eboot of Koudelka on my PSP years ago, and while the loading was still a thing, it was quite noticeably shorter compared to playing it off the actual discs on my PS2. I want to estimate the time needed was halved.

File: 386e699e48cb1c5⋯.webm (5.08 MB, 300x300, 1:1, ff7_d1_t15.webm)

It's unlikely to be affected. There aren't a lot of loading screens per se actually there may be none. But the transition blur to get in battles takes maybe 15 seconds in FF9, FF7 it's about half that and manageable. More than that though is all the unskippable cutscenes and dialogue that's where you need frame skipping. Obviously FF7 is noted for its angsty protagonist but on top of that the localization is QUALITY typical of that period. FF6 from memory only had a battle lead-in of 4-5 seconds? FF9's overworld also has somewhat dodgy framerate. Both games have pretty fantastic atmosphere and soundtracks. I really love the start of FF7 where they complete their mission and are making their way back to the hideout. The start of FF9 is particularly memorable too, with the stage performance, and its pre-rendered cutscenes are a lot of fun.

21ff0b  No.16660982

>But the transition blur to get in battles takes maybe 15 seconds in FF9

Has anyone figured out what exactly makes it take that long to get set up to the point of "fight's on" that even digital storage wouldn't improve it? I mean, I know Final Fantasy is popular and PS1 Square-soft still had a reputation for quality, but I'm a bit surprised at what sort of patience would be required for dealing with loading like that over and over. Is it a hard coded minimum time that just can't be improved on? Not like I can't deal with some loading, just that that sounds quite excessive in the long run.

It's like that on console, but I'd strongly suspect it's a hard-coded delay even with PSP eBoots. I'm more patient than most to play RPGs without speed-up so I'll be trying to finish FF9 now. Somewhat relatedly by far my best moment was in a playthrough of a Touhoumon ROM hack where I got two shinies, in the space of a day, and both chibi forms, and running the game at slightly under its regular speed since GBA emulation sucks on Vita. At least I can turn the sound off and use the built-in music player.

0fff02  No.16670493

As before, I'm frequently hitting roadblocks in FF9 where I need items due to lack of support moves. Even regular enemies usually hit hard and bosses frequently are an item drain. Vivi especially is annoyingly fragile even in the back row. Not necessarily saying it's bad I'm probably missing something (not abilities I have noticed those). FF7's way too flexible with its materia system, same apparently with FF6 once you get espers but even that has its early game winners like Edgar or Sabin.

It may be something unrelated but Vita does not have perfect backwards compatibility with PSP, and has more issues with PS1 than PSP too. Still pretty damn good though.

No workarounds so far, metal slug anthology's menu also has a ton of lag and not even installing the game as an EBOOT like >>16670558 suggest fixes it. Trust me, i've tried it, mostly because some games are significantly smaller as EBOOTs, the one i mentioned goes from 1.5GB to 950MB.

256GB, do not buy this >>16671058 thing, get the single slot adapter instead, read speeds are way higher transfer speeds too, but i never gave a fuck about that since i always took out the SD cards and transferred games to them with a USB adapter, MHP3rd's loading screens are about 8-12 seconds long on a official sony memory card (8GB) and a single slot adapter with a 128GB class 10 sandisk SD card in it, but they can take up to 25 fucking seconds with one of those dual adapters. I used one of those things for the longest time mostly out of convenience (PSP games on one, PS1 and emulators on the other), but after trying out the single slot one i just couldn't go back to that slow piece of shit.

With my recent plays I have seen the Adrenaline LOLIcon crashing issue if left in sleep. Unfortunate. Has it been fixed? I'll probably just "don't do that then" since global overclock is more valuable.

If loads are that bad it'd probably break games too. I've seen some games flake out in that regard with my current SD where for example Neptunia gets music pauses and sometimes goes to its "now loading" with the bouncing Dogoos. Taking PNG screenshots can glitch games in various ways too.

Oh neat I thought it only unlocked the slider. That said I've never found it too bright even in total darkness at minimum. Maybe it's an IPS thing.

I'll repeat more or less what I've said in the other thread. They fixed two of my main initial complaints: the original Switch was too big as a handheld since the tablet alone (without joycons) was itself slightly bigger than the Vita, and they actually added a real d-pad (although its position is weird but it's manageable). The lack of TV output is absolutely gay however even if I would have never personally planned to use it on my own, only during family/friends visit events. I heard apparently the handheld mode tend to be mostly an afterthought for games on the Switch, with the font text being small for instance, but I havent tried the console long enough to know and confirm this.

That said, the system really needs to step the fuck up in terms of software library because it's clearly not worth it if you already own a Vita which also let you play PSP and PS1 games natively with its value increasing by tenfold if you can into moonrunes obviously. Nintendo's first-party modern games arent a purchase argument for me although Mario Maker 2 looks fun since I'm a sucker for level editor shit in general and lmao indies, random ps4/vita ports and multiplatform releases are not gonna cut it. Then again I have a lot of personal bias, the console is probably fine for EOP weebs right now.

Of course that model needs to be cracked down, but the homebrew scene for Switch is so much a shitshow right now that I dont expect anything soon yet.

209796  No.16682842

575b3a  No.16683608

I think it's to Switch as PSTV is to Vita. They take out a whole lot of core features like the docked mode, motion controls, the two-player co-op stuff, and more. Also no RCM exploit. In particular I have been playing that Neptunia game on mine lately and some text is virtually unreadable when using it undocked. That is a fault in the game but I suspect it's not an isolated example where games don't always consider the different use cases.

Switch isn't quite as big a regret as PS4 but I sometimes question whether it was really worth getting one.

I suggest the OLED (Which is the 1000 model)

but if you don't mind the LCD screen, I believe the Slim comes with 1 GB internal memory that's easily accessible meaning you don't need to have a vita memory card to hack it easily.

The slim model is also lighter, and slimmer.

I believe the triggers are a bit more wobbly or flimsy compared to the 1000 model though. Plus I've heard some issues involving control stick ghosting after a while more so with the slim than ever with the 1000

My main issue with Slim PCH-2xxx is they feel less ergonomic, and when you see OLED, IPS feels like trash even with OLED's disadvantages. The 1GB storage is nice though for not needing to touch official memory cards. Personally though, I recommend 3G PCH-11xx for PSVSD if you can find one, followed by first-gen PCH-10xx since any memory card works for the initial breaking and you normally won't need it except to recover if things break.

Generally speaking though read the relevant OP links, and if you aren't jailbreaking you're a sucker.

I'm thinking of buying a vita. Can anyone provide a checklist of the things that I'll need to have in order to actually crack it and play it that way? Going through the whole cracking guide without so much as owning the console is probably a bunch of jibberish to me right now, but I'm looking to see how much I'll need to spend and want to get all the parts at once.

The kind of things I'm asking about are the vita itself (type/model other relevant details), the memory card (do you still need those official snoy cards?) maybe some kind of memory card reader in order to transfer from the PC, or is that done wirelessly now? Any kind of hardware modding requirements or tools, or any specific software (games etc) required to crack the console, and of course anything I haven't thought of yet because I've never handled the console before.

31a6a4  No.16690801

Top to bottom.

There a three major Vita models, 1001 with OLE screen, 2000 with an LCD screen, and PS TV which is basically a PS Vita in a screenless box that connects to your TV.

No, after hacking your PS Vita, you can use an SD2Vita converter that goes into your game card slot for portable Vita models, or a USB drive for the PS TV.

Files can be transferred wirelessly via FTP when your vita is hacked via Vitashell.

There is no specific hardware to get up and running for Vita hacking. For software, the most recent hack which works on the latest PS Vita firmware is Trinity, which requires you to buy a PSP game from the Playstation Network.

Thanks for the help but you haven't quite answered the core question. Summarize I need to buy

>1 PSVita

Currently any model will work cracked with the same requirements so this comes to prefrence/price/availability, correct?

>1 SD2Vita

>1 SDCard

Or more? I read something about region locked accounts based on the card. The entire thing will be purely a pirate station, but I have a strong interest in raw JP games

>1 PSP game via the shop

Specific game or any game?

51d9a5  No.16690831

Repeating my earlier post. >>16684721

In short: Get smallest official memory card + first-gen 3G (best for PSVSD) or first-gen not-3G (second-best). While you don't need an official memory card with second generation systems, those are a distant third, and PSTVs only jump to first if they're dirt-cheap, which they are not generally anymore. Jailbreaking is thorougly addressed in my guide, at present they still haven't fixed 3.70.

4080bd  No.16690845

>Currently any model will work cracked with the same requirements so this comes to prefrence/price/availability, correct?

If you buy a 1000 model, the fat, you'll need to buy an sd card, but a 2000 model have 1GB of internal memory, which is enough to run exploits off of.

>Or more? I read something about region locked accounts based on the card. The entire thing will be purely a pirate station, but I have a strong interest in raw JP games

You can have more than one sdcard, I've had not problems using a 128gb card, but I would reckon asking someone else who has experience with bigger cards.

You can buy just 1 sd2vita, but I bought two just in case one was dead on arival, now I have two.

Games are region free, including piracy, so no playing a JP game with an NA account wont get you in trouble.

>Specific game or any game?

PSP game or demo is needed to be downloaded if the vita is on 3.69 or 3.70 when you get it. It's part of the exploit. As for tools, use the guide that is in the OP, it's fairly simple and at most took me 30 minutes fumbling around with backing up saves on someone else's vita.

I'm going to give up posting in this thread, I meant to say an official sony memory card.

I'm that someone. You can pirate a lot of JP/SEA games and use them on a single American or otherwise account just fine. The most current method for doing so is NPS Browser, which runs on user contributions of their key files and downloads the games straight from Sony's servers.

Sony does not care about piracy shenanigans unless you cheat online.

>don't actually play anything besides GT, which I already had a physical copy of

Can't say I am surprised because I've never particularly cared for 16 bit stuff, nor have I ever really gone back to PS1 since I last stopped after getting a PS2.

Best place to get PSP/PS1 iso's?

CD Romance. They have a whole section of PSX-PSP conversions.

CDRomance/Nico is great.

I just wish that Emuparadise wasn't taken down

For EBoots, they actually had the most out of every site out there. Luckily I saved every one that looked interesting to me

I use a 400gb microsd card in my main Vita, alongside with an official 64gb memory card (bought since 2015) for PS1 stuff, meaning I have a whooping 410gb total of vidya/VNs with most of them being japanese versions.

I wouldnt recommend this much for the average Vita user, 128GB or even 200gb is far more than enough. No point in buying a large storage and hoarding so many games inside if you're not going to play most of them at any point anyway. The exception is that I use the Vita as my main vidya platform, PC being second I have plans to sell my PS4 after the PC port of EDF5. Judge Eyes and Ys9 are likely to get ported too and I wish Denuvo would fuck off from Valkyria Chronicles 4, Nier Automata and Tales of Berseria, the latter possibly with a jap version update

>Yet another faggot that thinks EP was taken down or dead.

How many times does it need to be said that they simply hid the download links, and that if you have the right script enabled you can regain access to them?

Nico/CDR is indeed useful though, especially for prepatched games. Still a shame though that the admin apparently got a stick up his ass about hosting eroge some years back and shitcanned them. Their vidya artbook section also get trashed as well for whatever reason.

Why would you go around and spread that information among literal retards? You're just accelerating an actual takedown.

No Vita lately since I've been distracted with the leaf Neptunia game and Bloodstained. Mostly the latter. SNRPG really hurts with its clunky feel, the platforming in particular reminds me of A Rose in the Twilight, not in a good way. I've actually got to finish that, I need one more blood memory to progress the story but it's proving elusive.

Migrating SD cards is painless if you start out too small. I'm using 256GB and that should at least be the initial upper bound since it holds quite a few games. To get a better idea you can check NoPayStation's DB since all .pkg files have a size documented. Most of the time they're at least 1GB. Games can't be larger than 4GB due to file system limits but a couple use DLC if they need more as with Danganronpa UDG and V3. Also as noted, SD cards over a certain size (128GB from memory) need to be formatted a particular way or the free space count gets out of sync.

Way way too late, that info isn't confined to here.

The whole point of buying the game is to not have to download the digital game. I'm not going to buy the cartridge and not use it.

08558f  No.16699554

Even if you'd use it, you'd just dump the physical to an sdcard, unless you want to suck with the small, slow as shit and overpriced official memory cards.

Fortunately vita gaems are not too big, unless you live in burgerland it shouldn't be an issue to download them.

I have a PCH-1101 with 3.65 firmware on it now. Is there any point in going through the step to downgrade firmware to 3.60?

2735b7  No.16700077

Unless there is some obscure plugin that never was updated for 3.65 you want, there shouldn't be any reason to downgrade or upgrade your firmware.

51d9a5  No.16700417

Digital is a moot point with a system that is hacked.

If you have a PSVSD you can use cartridges.

No. This is one part vita.hacks.guide is deficient about. The gains of downgrading are not worth it. Just note there are taiHEN configuration differences and a different Ensō installer between 3.60 and 3.65.
