Full remake of original PSP game. No release date announced. Now the west will be able to experience Samurai Kitchen (Screenshot is from PSP version on emulator) and IT Witch Maria too!
I don't know how they're gonna do it on PS4, nor do I know how they're gonna handle the script. That said I hope they do what they did last time and base it on this place rather than modern cuckchan.
I hope it runs at 60fps+, the 30fps cap on the original is the main reason why I didn't buy it.
How good are Xseed localizations?
They have a history of being good, but some of their biggest anti-cancer people left recently.
That it was. Since this is a "new engine" and not a straight port, I wonder if there will be some cameo costumes obtainable.
>XSeeD is remaking the game in a new game engine instead of the japanese company Acquire doing the job
I know XSEED doesnt have a record of fucking shit up on a software level like NISA does but still
>bothering to make a PS4 version for the west with Sony America's hijinks being obviously far stronger than in Japan
It ranges between okay to mediocre. XSEED did rewrite shit like making people in the Trails games making more religious than they actually were in the original script (a lot of rewriting also gets obvious if you install the Evo voices pack), and Akiba's Trip 2 translation was "eeh"
But there was already a PS3 release and that was HD, right?
No, that was a sequel.
I played that game on the Vita. Couldn't get past the opening scenario because the motherfucker wouldn't give me the goddamned rare figurines he promised, and kept ending up killing me when I wouldn't let it go.
What the hell kind of autistic weeb would I be if I could just let shit like that go? The money I spent in hot glue alone is unforgivable.
That's the sequel.
Wait, I thought Akiba's Trip was the original and Akiba's Beat was the sequel?
I look forward to screenshots of sunbeams.
Akiba's Trip (Hellbound & Debriefed) is the original. Akiba's Trip 2 (Undead and Undressed) is the sequel. Akiba's Beat and the Anime are spinoffs.
Maybe it's a big experiment to either rile fans up against Sony for their bullshit or to see how much they can slip under their radar. Any other reason would be pure insanity.
But the localized vita version was a remake of the PSP original already? It was even called akiba's trip plus in japan.
Akiba's Trip Plus wasn't on the Vita, it was a rerelease on the PSP with some fixes and bonus content.
Akiba Trip Plus was just an updated re-release of the original title that was also on PSP. Akiba's Trip 2 (Undead & Undressed in the West) is just the Vita sequel.
>Akiba's Beat was the sequel
It was a shitty spin-off which had no qualities from the previous titles, and tanked very hard in Japan. Anybody with half a brain could have seen it coming from the reveal videos but that didnt stop XSEED to be retarded however.
You have to be a huge retard if you think the second picture counts as a bad example. In Japanese it's "ok" to repeat the same word multiple times in a row, but that shit doesn't work in English.
If you are ok with hearing multiple times "rean…" in a row by multiple voices you are a retard.
The third isn't either. Perfectly fine translation in context.
My Japanese knowledge is pretty limited but the 3rd pic seems like a good translation.
There is an anon on /a/ that always sung the praises of this show, I finally got around to watching it not long ago. It's nothing amazing but it was silly and fun. Way better than I thought.
>it's perfectly to completely invent lines of text that werent in the original script because you believe you're a better writer than the original author
You would fit with wonders as part of the defense force for the Thracia 776 fanpatch
>The third isn't either. Perfectly fine translation in context.
>My Japanese knowledge is pretty limited but the 3rd pic seems like a good translation.
yeah "What is that, a boy?" in japanese text localized into "Why is MY present a BOY?" that just make Estelle more look like a selfish bitch in the English version.
My illiterate bro has dogshit tastes and really wanted to play that shitpile, for some reason. I wasn't expecting much when we pirated it, but good G*d. Genuinely one of the worst games I've ever played through. Every single aspect of the game is trash. Absolute utter trash. What the FUCK were they thinking when they started development?
Shame they didn't make an anime about best girl. I feel like replaying the game now but it's probably not worth the fourth replay
>not the 12th for each and every ending
Get on my level, scum.
No. Akiba's Trip is the original on PSP. It has Akiba's Trip 2 as a sequel on PC, PS4, and Vita from memory. Akiba's Beat is almost a spin-off, and a godawful idea at that when the appeal of the series is the fanservice stripping. It's probably the only crap game I will not play even as someone who loves Akiba's Trip 2. There's also the anime and that is love it or hate it, but I personally adore it.
Have some WebMs.
There's only like 5 endings? And one of them can happen in tandem with other ones.
U&U is one of the few reasons I keep my Vita charged. Great game with all that good goofy shit I love. Also it's one of the few games I get to act like a dumbass through story choices and it pays off.
what's with the punch?
Watch the anime. It's in the first episode. And in the name.
Words cannot express how happy I am about this.
But seriously, why are they even bothering with a PS4 localization? Maybe they want to pull a Pqube and let it be as little known as possible so nobody complaints, and thus pass by any kind of bullshit?
Pqube recently released Our World is Ended and that didn't have any censorship, even on CensorStation.
The real shame is that there's no Kati route, dammit
The anime was fun as heck with each ep normally centering about certain 'blend' of otaku, but the best one was the pro-wrestling one.
Checking the third webm, I can't help but now compare the attitude of that 'commission' and current Soyny. The 'Globally-facing healthy subculture' line, in particular.
Thankfully it's coming to PC, so at least one version of the game will be pristine**
First one in that pic is kid/child, not boy. Good job showing you don't know Nipponese.
>XSEED uses the word "boy"
>"Perfectly fine translation in context."
>anon uses the same word
>"Good job showing you don't know Nipponese."
Using boy makes perfect sense for an in-context translation, but you were doing a supposed literal one
Akiba's Trip is one of those few games where I don't know what the premise / gameplay is. Can someone please explain it?
Vampires are secretly taking over Akihabara because the population is already sun-fearing otaku. The player fights them by ripping off their clothes and exposing them to sunlight.
First of all, pardon my ESL.
Never played Way of the Samurai, but people say it's very similar.
AS is like beat 'em up/action rpg where instead of lowering the enemies' healthbar, you gotta focus on attacking their clothes until you break them or strip them. So you get 3 buttons for different "levels" of clothing: head, torso, legs. Now, this is one of those games where you can use everything you see in the game, so you can gain all the clothes and weapons you see. And yes, the weapons are obligatory (if you want to live) and do change the fighting style. And yes, you can also use female clothing.
No at all the weapons are useful, but you will try out everything.
The combat doesn't have a blocking input, here you cover to DODGE, which is also used for counter maneuvers to strip clothing easier.
After a certain level of specific clothes, you won't stop tearing them apart, you'll get to strip them clean to use them, or to grind your "def" levels.
Oh, right: the gimmick.
You fight against vampires, so they're invincible unless so strip them to completely expose them to the sunlight. And you're in the same condition, so everyone will try to strip you too. How do you recover your "health"? By simply readjusting your clothes.
Also, you can level up your clothes and weapons, in case you really want to fool around with anything specific.
The characters and dialogues are great. None of them are highschoolers except for your imouto, and actually they're all pretty bro and lovable. You will even have sympathy for the final boss.
It has a great techno ost that will pump you up.
You have the typical routes determined by which girl to got the closest to during the first "half" of the game. Don't worry the game is short, but it has tons of replayability. It's one of those games that actually start after you finish them, since you get to fool around even more.
The action rpg element of the games takes its place at the streets, where you can pick a fight with almost everyone there for your grinding needs. And you can escape whenever you want.
I don't know what else I am missing.
But yeah, this game isn't perfect, but you won't get anything similar now. It's one of those games where you know everyone had fun doing it.
I haven't seen any review, so I'm lacking that. I actually went into this game for the premise alone, and man, it became one of my most favorites instantly.
Oh, and journos subhuman gave it a low score because those retards only played on Easy. That difficulty is fucking stupid and makes pretty much the game pointless.
Oh and the anime is fucking great.
>You will even have sympathy for the final boss.
>not becoming the final boss.
Great game though, 100% it twice. Fist weapons are the best weapons.
Oh right, the stripping in-depth.
You can also collect underwear, but for that you have to manage to get a great strip combo while fighting.
You can customize everything in your character after a certain point, but initially you can customize their stance (and way of walking) and their stripping style.
The stripping styles are hilarious, as you can see you have a JoJo style one, but I gotta admit I had to remove them so the fights weren't so long. You'll still enjoy them for a while.
I can't, I love everything about Akihabara.
>Fist weapons are the best weapons.
Indeed. But discovering that is part of the fun.
Actually yeah, somehow there's a lot of discovering too in the game.
Bokken masterrace. Everything else is just a joke.
I used one throughout the entire playthrough and beyond, the dash attack has a sidestep in it, which makes it extremely useful for dodging oncoming enemies. Fast and powerful enough. There's a slightly better weapon reskin, but it's literally one of the last weapons you get, so not much use. The exploding gloves were kinda cool, and very good for cc, but I found them to make little damage and tedious to kill enemies with.
Don't forget to chain strips for stripping underwear too. If you're on PC (which you should) you can even uncensor the censor "stare into the light" effect, but obviously enemy models still have no genitals, just a good old bandaid on the crotch.
>Akiba's Trip finally comes out.
>After Sony's been touched by the Cuck.
>Going to get slaughtered and pissed on by angry idealogues on steam.
Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
The bandage makes it even lewder. And it doesn't surprise me they're in there, since Poyoyon Rock's designs almost always include bandages (even over clothes).
You forgot one essential part of the game: The character customization. As you complete routes you unlock every different character model in-game for your own use, and free DLC characters including Dejiko (Gamers store mascot, also featured in Di Gi Charat), Super Sonico (Nitroplus mascot) and Potami (pop life departmen m's mascot, an adult store in Akihabara, said store also appears in-game but you're denied entry). There's also lots of silly stripping styles that get opened up such as drunk kung-fu, quick, wrestling, telekinesis, and more. Also character movement animation styles too such as hovering through the air, stumbling around drunk, using a smartphone, being a mime, and more.
The game punishes you for playing on easier difficulties anyway. Certain accessories and items are not buyable except on hardest. That difficulty has some pretty difficult fights too, notably any of the 48 idol rumbles. Getting caught in a cat paw super is almost certain to shred your clothing and the second lot are very irritating with fast and long reach weapons.
Speaking of which, the weapons are actually varied with the 4 different classes and while a lot share moves, they've all got a different moveset with ups and downs, and all the main character weapons are unique. The more ordinary weapons aren't. It's all absurd things like laptops, roombas, anti-material rifles, glowsticks, wooden swords, a Nep dakimakura, computer keyboards, microphones, and posters. Clothing options are purely cosmetic aside from being armor, but also very varied with gothic lolita, maid outfits, military, suits, ordinary clothing, "emperor's new clothes" and such. This is definitely one game to play as a girl since they get some pretty exotic underclothes. You can also cross-dress after a certain quest, but unfortunately not underclothes, in part because one of the male-only ones includes shibari!
Not bandage. Band-aid. Like pic related but no areolae and such. The de-censor mod (and nude mod) also exists on Vita but its port has framerate issues without LOLIcon.
Stripping vampires to destroy them is such a hot fucking concept, I love it
As long as you're happy with the main villains being male, and those also get strip cut-ins. Actually has anyone ripped those CGs? I like Rin's.
I don't like that translation. Oh how xseed has fallen…
I wonder what Acquire have been up to, maybe a new Shinobido or Way of the Samur-
That's because I didn't bother matching up the dialog, just the visuals, when I took the Nipponese PSP screenshots. There's multiple lines of dialog in those scenes.
>As long as you're happy with the main villains being male, and those also get strip cut-ins.
Reminder that XSEED themselves requested for Male Strip cut-ins for the game
XSEED NEEDED MEN TO HAVE STRIP CUT-INs TOO (or it'd be too one-sided or sexist or something)
>BUT XSEED DOESN'T CENSOR OR ALTER VIDYA XSEED WAS A GOOD QUEER HE DIDN'T DO NUFFINS
I remember to have read this story too somewhere, maybe it was in one of their blogs.
Only thing I've found was this in one of their blogs.
- Sage for doubleposting -
>complaining about when they add in things that don't affect the game in any way
Their biggest problem is not properly crediting people who have worked on the games in the past if they left before a rerelease of a game they worked on comes out.
Censoring the shit out of most games don't affect anything gameplaywise either if we are going by that logic also some cunt from xseed in a tumblr post mentioned that every time they talked to a dev they asked was if they can add fag marriage into it in hopes that one day they will break down
This is a good point. Westerners should have 0 input into what goes into games, even if it was something semi harmless then it sets a very bad precedent.
Good news is i believe the one responsible for that was one of the ones that fucked off when NISA cucked XSeed out of Ys, bad news is i'd be pretty certain others are gonna keep pushing it. Considering how long they've probably been pushing it for it makes me respect the Japanese devs for resisting this shit for so long. I'm still extremely worried about what they'll do to Rune Factory 5.
that reminds me of the interview the producer of story of seasons had with ((((polygon)))) about fag marriage
>"It's not like we're not thinking about [same-sex relationships]," Hashimoto said. "We know that it has to be there sometime in the future."
>But, according to him, it will take more work than just allowing players to date any eligible bachelor they want, regardless of gender. In order to make same-sex marriage possible, he told us, the game will have to include separate, specifically gay characters to date.
>The increased amount of people to marry is why the Story of Seasons games, among all the farming and fishing and animal-herding, just includes a handful of straight guys and girls for now, he said.
>"If we have to allow same-sex [relationships], we have to put more characters who are the same gender," he said. "As a game, it's going to be so much more volume, two or three times more. It's going to be a little difficult."
so yeah get ready for a cute girl to be dyke only if this happens
>milfs and cakes you cannot have
>dragon goddesses you cant have
>now dykes you cannot have
I am not sure which is worse.
That sounds like some "we can't do it right now, prease understandu" shit. But again, sjws will not give up on this so it's a when not an if it will happen. The good news is i'm pretty sure Rune Factory and Story of Seasons have completely different dev teams so the point is moot for now. It's fucking depressing one of my favorite series gets revived and i'm more worried than anything.
Both are equally bad. Putting in female playable characters was a gigantic mistake and fucking destroyed the fanbase. That one meme comic is right the second women get involved in a fandom it is fucked.
It was always possible to gay it up in RF anyways. You complete the game and unlock the ability to spend points and use other character models. Play as femMC. Swap to MC and then do the relationship stuff. This is pure pandering to the feminist/gay Twitter mafia.
Wait was this the game where you went around fighting women and stripping them?
By that logic the games also support incest and pedophilia as you could change your avatar to a kid or one of the marriage candidates brothers/sisters/mom etc. Even then the game would still call you a guy in dialogue.
>Putting in female playable characters was a gigantic mistake
>Not self-inserting as the cutie being wooed by dreamy ikemen.
Equal opportunity strip cut-ins, and there's plenty of dudes stripped in both the games and the anime. This addition is one I can welcome. If you complain about anything, complain about the translation. I thought it was NISA, it's certainly dodgy enough to be them, but they only published it in the Europe region.
Women and men. If you want purely girls stripping each other there's Senran Kagura.
Male gay characters. Having cute 2D girls that love other girls or being able to seduce cute 2d girls as a cute 2D girl are both fine.
<If you complain about anything, complain about the translation
I can complain about both anon; the shit translation with "bro" bullshit and the added pictures for fagseed that were then backpatched to the nip version just because so you can't escape them
You can if you're a moron. This is a game where you strip everyone regardless of whether they're male or female, where a male character secretly wears shibari, where there are BL fangirls, where the MC can cross-dress, and where the game is still fanservice-heavy among other things. If you actually cared one whit about what you are preaching you wouldn't be interested in this game at all, and I do not care that Westerners were responsible for the male cut-ins when they perfectly fit the theme of the game.
>having an opinion is being a moron
>liking the game and not liking the localiser wanting to add fagshit is somehow incompatible
Well my apologies fanboy on the braindamage and unable to understand difference in opinions
Give me one reason the male cut ins shouldn't be in the game.
kys dyke lover.
Because the faggot localisers asked for them if they were already in the game i would've been still irritated at first that they did it but the absurdity that most of the guys were unattractive and included old guys and that acquire has had gotten increasingly silly with their sequels would've just made me shrug my shoulder in the end.so its mostly the intent:
devs messing with players> localiser going muh equality
this doesn't extend to akiba beat though fuck that game
Do you actually want to make "opinion" an argument? Because my opinion is that you are a fucking retard and that XSEED made an improvement to a game where you are stripping men on top of those other things that would trigger you if they were in a Western game.
Faggots are not an improvement.
They aren't gay. They're just grown men in boxers. If you perceive that as gay then maybe you have some repressed feelings you'd like to talk about? :^)
nah man its you thats the literal faggot xseed shill and thats a fact
What >>16560136 said is dead-on. None of the male cast are homo, especially not the one guy whose weapon is a figurine. You're just looking for things to be offended by.
Then explain why
> male character secretly wears shibari, where there are BL fangirls, where the MC can cross-dress
is in the game.
They're faggot apologists so I imagine it's hard for them not to be retarded.
Do you accept any of the things mentioned in >>16560229 as acceptable? If not, why are you even trying to argue in this game's favour?
If it was, why can cross-dressing main characters and yaoi lovers be in it? Pick your poison, but know that "no" means >>>/pol/
Oh are you just going to ignore me after misrepresenting what i said as having issues with the game itself rather than a dislike of localiser added content in general
man you really love goal post moving
>game is aimed at straight males
<can't have humor in it involving crossdressers and rotten women
Must be pol :^)
Clearly this game likes you!
doesn't answer a damn thing about your post moving and i already said that the other content in the game is fine with me
>guys the cross dressing is just a joke :^)
>OMG THESE CUCKS ADDED IN STRIP SCENES FOR THE MALE VILLAINS WHAT FAGS!!1!!
Cause clearly the villain strip scenes cannot also be jokes.
Yet it was requested seriously by xseed
>Yet it was requested seriously by xseed
And then the devs/artist complied.
>liking yaoi fangirls
Stop being a walking contradiction any time now. Just admit this game does not appeal to you but you're trying to abuse it to push irrelevant political bullshit.
you first, nothing i said contradicted itself
>cross dressing and BL fangirls are totally fine and in line with the game being for strictly heterosexual men
>but guys in boxers is anathema to the game and only for faggots
>omitting the part about xseed
Yet again you are moving posts
I don't care about xseed. I asked why they shouldn't be in the game.
>game where MC can cross-dress
>game where male character is in shibari
>game where BL exists
>>16560792 is irrelevant where any opinion 100% in line with your views is "pozz".
XSEED did not apply to anything I said. Stop piggy-backing your politics.
>not 100% in line with your views
>everything is politics
I never once mentioned politics but the fact that i don't like xseed and localisers wanting shit changed and added in general
You are the one trying to change this to the game in whole
>I can't bother to look it up so it doesn't exist
Except pic related and >>16555526 you idiot.
>This addition is one I can welcome.
It's a change to the game that brings added costs to the developer for absolutely no reason but "inclusion". You are a faggot.
>I asked why they shouldn't be in the game.
Because they weren't in the game and never intended to be in the game from the start. It was a forced addition simply for, and I quote again,
the interest of "providing equivalent gender balance"
It was an ideological move to begin with, motivated for a particular region (NA) for the express purpose of inclusion and "gender equality".
It was not in the game. It was made to be in the game, at the expense of the developers, for gender equality. If it's not originally in the game and/or not originally in the vision/plan of the developers then it's a forced addition that alters the work. It's trash and XSEED is responsible for it.
You sure that's not the bullshit game journo reading too hard into it? And you fuckin' know it?
>thing fits in the game perfectly fucking fine
>but it's trash abloo bloo cause xseed is leftist
Then explain why the original game had such elements, and...
...failing that, >>>/pol/ and in that case, why are you, to go in circles, even wanting this game to exist?
>And you fuckin' know it?
It was admitted in their blog (look at the earlier post, idiot) and addressed elsewhere by one of the women who worked on the thing, though that time I can't find readily.
But yes, that's the reason it was done. Mind you, it still didn't sate the incoming fags from getting spitfired over the use of the term "trap" as somehow being "transmisogynist" or whatever. Round about then we had that nonsense kick in with deranged queers getting their cockles up over the term and XSEED never expected that would arise (no one did because it's stupid).
We've had threads on this before.
>And then the devs/artist complied.
They don't have a choice, you ass-gaping fruit. Either it gets changed or the thing doesn't get published. It's the same for Sony's mandates on vidya now.
>yeah it was a forced addition at the cost of the devs just for gender equality, but it fits!
What is this Neofaggot mentality? It was not originally in the game. That's all there is to it. XSEED brought about a fundamental change in the game (which was unnecessary and doesn't fit for the target audience who aren't playing this for male cheesecake, hence why there's only female love interests) just for "gender equality", and what do you know? Most of the articles you'll find that favor the game (often pre-trap fiasco) will all espouse the same thing, almost like it was possibly the intent all along.
XSEED admitted to it. It was a change to the game not to patch a bug or help the dev put in something the developers wanted, but it was a change to the game because XSEED WANTED IT.
IFI is full of errors, inconsistencies and basic translation issues (even more than a few memes, although it's pretty great all around in Death End RE;Quest from what I saw, no memes as I recall) but not even they force the developer to cost extra resources and work in order to get the game published. XSEED is for fags, and was only the better alternative to NISA and Aksys because the latter, NISA especially, did even worse things. None of it is good. They all deserve to fail miserably.
>Then explain why the original game had such elements, and…
What elements? They added the male cut-ins by XSEED's appeal (I believe to the devs directly but maybe to Marvelous HQ). XSEED was instrumental to the addition. It wasn't in the original intention of the developers.
Unless you mean the element of "stripping", in which case you'd have to be stupid not to understand why a game focusing on romancing cute girls while stripping enemies naked for laughs would have cut-ins for the girls. That's like asking why Senran Kagura had touch mechanics.
>So is crossdressing, and it shouldn't be in the game either.
For the Japanese the issue of "cross-dressing" is the same as those overbearing molesting queers in the Persona games, even in 5–it's all about comedy. The humor of faggotry is universal, but pics related weren't added for humor. Cut-ins were for sex appeal for the player to ogle. Notice how you don't have a crossdressing strip-tease.
I don't like it either but it's Monty Python-teir for the Nips so of course it'd be in there like in most anime trying for a cheap laugh at the expense of freaks. It's not about "representation" but chuckles.
>fits in the game
No it doesn't and that's not the point.
>xseed is leftist
Never said that. Don't try to put words in anons' mouths like you putting dicks into yours
Taking this shit aside for a second, i can't be the only one worried about a localization company being able to get shit added to Japanese games. It was something fairly innocent this time, but it's only a matter of time before companies use this to add actual faggotry to the games. Localization companies shouldn't have the right to add anything to these games, regardless of whether or not it fits.
Do not excuse the slippery slope falllacy where it does not actually apply.
You have to go back.
>Localization companies shouldn't have the right to add anything to these games
Exactly. We saw how everyone big and small, from Sony to NISA, is capable of gutting content and forcing developers to change or remove many things from the games even during development.
>slippery slope falllacy
>believing the reality of "setting precedent" (the very means by which laws are made and furthered ie "Roe v. Wade") is a fallacy
You have to be 18+ to post on this board.
Hope it gets a physical release. Xseed said they would start giving games a physical release on PC if enough people asked, I already emailed asking for one of Sakuna Of Rice and Ruin, I'll email them and ask for a physical release of this too. Steam code doesn't count
Do not excuse the slippery slope fallacy where it does not actually apply. Male strip cut-ins do not matter one whit.
Without moral objectivity there is no moral standard. You're a faggot.
>All this retarded fanboyism shit when I just wanted to shit on Akiba's Beat for being a dumpster game
Xseed are a bunch of cucks. We've got screenshots of them censoring shit, adding in pozz, and Tom outright admitting it all. How can you retards even fall for the bait to "discuss" this?
>We've got screenshots of them censoring shit
>adding in pozz
>and Tom outright admitting it all.
Post it then! XSEED made a trash fire of Akiba's Trip 2, don't resort to made-up problems if real ones exist,
>We've got screenshots of them censoring shit, adding in pozz, and Tom outright admitting it all.
I don't remember them censoring anything, but the rest is right. I'm actually glad they had that fucking retarded interview talking about how they kept pressuring the Japanese devs to add faggots and trannies to Story of Seasons, before i knew what they were trying to do i thought they were doing a pretty good job.
Don't respond to my posts, trash.
The Senran's ages were censored from the getgo. See >>16549923 discomfort.png
Ah, thanks. Even if the guy ended up being a cuck in the end i at least appreciate Toms honesty on the whole thing. Hell i think his admitting it was just internal discomfort rather than any ratings issue was what put an end to that lie for every other localizer so he sort of did us a favor, even if accidentally.
>>We've got screenshots of them censoring shit, adding in pozz, and Tom outright admitting it all.
>I don't remember them censoring anything, but the rest is right.
Share it then.
>Don't respond to my posts, trash.
>what put an end to that lie for every other localizer so he sort of did us a favor, even if accidentally
Anyone with half a brain and the barest understanding of the ratings boards knew that was horseshit, especially if there were reading between the lines of NISA's endless half-truths and lies. It was only the dumbest children that needed an "authority figure" to state it plainly for them.
Refer to the webm.
File: 0bc5a6b989cdf5e⋯.jpg (Spoiler Image, 958.22 KB, 2842x4059, 2842:4059, 1afbc0e024e22b3c42e5d5f5bc….jpg)
Xbox was pretty decent, honestly. They showed games, teased a new console, could've been a lot worse.
>It was only the dumbest children that needed an "authority figure" to state it plainly for them.
That's a massive number of people. It's depressing how many people need someone in a position of authority to tell them fire is hot before they will believe it, even if they're in the middle of being burned.
Holy fuck this thread is cancer.
The other anons' problem is fundamentally the addition/alteration of a game by foreign localizers
The contents of the addition/alteration and what was already in the game are irrelevant to the principle of the problem of localizers successfully changing a product for potentially idealogical reasons.
Stop being such insufferably disingenuous faggots by using the game's original content to browbeat anon(s)'s problems with localizers affecting content in a video game. Holy shit. Despite the alteration possibly fitting with the theme of the game, this does change the fact that localizers successfully interfereing with a game is a fucking awful precedent. Now one can argue that the change fits with the product but some of you are being outright fucking faggots being arguing in the worst way possible.
>don't like X was added in at the localizers request?
<lmao Y, a similar thing, was in the game
<this means I will ignore why/how X was added and have the gall to call you the idealogue
tl;dr this >>16556305 and >>16562811
>This is a good point. Westerners should have 0 input into what goes into games, even if it was something semi harmless then it sets a very bad precede
>i can't be the only one worried about a localization company being able to get shit added to Japanese games. It was something fairly innocent this time, but it's only a matter of time before companies use this to add actual faggotry to the games. Localization companies shouldn't have the right to add anything to these games, regardless of whether or not it fits.
Plenty of screenshots, but is there rips from the files for best quality?
Good enough. Rin is the best.
>The other anons' problem is fundamentally the addition/alteration of a game by foreign localizers
Then he can fuck off from this game and thread, and whine about a game that actually is a problem.
>an anon cant complain about the localization of a game in its thread
Amazing coming from the anon that wanted the others to 'argue'.
His viewpoint is valid though. This whole argument might have never have gone on for this long had you not been such a disingenous faggot. It was made readily clear early on, at least early on post-post deletions from what remains, that the problem was primarily on localizers changing a game, the content and existing content of which was secondary. And yet you continued long after to keep pretending otherwise. And once you did at least address the issue you simply hand waved it away without further elaboration. Nice 'argue'-ing there too by the way. Though I will concede that the other of the two of you was much more inflamatory than you were at least.
I didn't get the impression the content was secondary in this case. Regardless, it's either that you don't like Western influence (find a game with actual problems to complain about, there's plenty to choose from) or that you don't like male fanservice (this game does involve stripping everyone and it's totally thematic). In either case I don't have any interest in the whining.
To move back to real issues, XSEED did an absolute trash fire of a localization with this game, I assumed it was NISA but they only handled the European release, ironically. The only saving grace is that even the Western version offers Japanese for both voices and text. English translation though, you get Final Fantasy X references, Airplane! references, and many other out-of-place ones. Don't even start on the dub, I'd only give Zenya a pass. The rest are bad, and your little sister is an affront to how cutesy she is normally.
Akiba's Trip is Yakuza for betas.
>Do not excuse the slippery slope fallacy
There is nothing fallacious about the reality of further consequences as a result of a set precedent (aka "slippery slope" or "snowball")
Any screen of the sister in underwears? I need it to decide if she's waifuable or not.
It's literally a few posts above you, and your sister in this game is really really cute and even has a sub-ending.
I meant 3d models. Also for the new game too. Sorry if that didn't make as much senses.
Here. She has two models with different pantsu. No idea if they'll ad the second game's equipable pantsu though.
If AK2 is anything to go by there is nothing.
Are they going to upgrade the models used in the remake? The number of polygons is lacking.
Dang that's disappointing. I was hoping she'd look younger…
