From my experience playing previous MMOs, that won't happen. People always try to pile into the most popular server in fear of not having anyone to play with/against. The other servers will most likely be empty after the initial wave.

for the archer build, you'll want to max out oblique shot, its insane. get capture, its one of the best skills in the game, flu flu is a great support skill, no reason to get camo barrel and burrow, camo barrel is actually really good at just 1 point. vendetta is a shit skill. burrow only works with autoattack.

for your ninja build, the clones can only use swordsman skills and kunai throw, their auto attack is also buggy as fuck. the class quest requires you to wait around for a 4 hour timed spawn as well.

Even with a ludicrously overpowered system, populated cities would drop to single-figure FPS. Game's never had optimization within 100 miles of itself.

Patch note showing the change? In iCBT2 it applied to anything more than 10 levels above you, and was substantial.

Mobs more than 10 levels above you would also deal several times higher damage to you and have several times higher damage mitigation.

Killed a few 100 levels above myself as a C3 Priest with mitigation-ignoring damage and damage-ignoring blocks, received less experience than if I had just killed a mob 9 levels above myself.

Git gud. In iCBT2 I had not run into any difficulty requiring (or even making it desirable) a party as a wizard->linker->sorc or C3 priest->monk.

Due to exp penalties in parties and low mob density in many areas, it was often preferable to intentionally avoid parties. That's not a good thing in an MMO.

Chaplain is actually INT/SPR based.

Aspergillum causes a INT based splash with every autoattack, and I think Last Rites scales off int, too.

The SPR comes because of the sheer amount of skills scaling of it that benefit the whole party, the CC reduction also helps.

Most classes can be pretty offensive, it depends on what you want to. Like Bokors deal damage by summoning zombies, Sadhu beat people up with their astroprojected soul. Memelanders aoe with their swords and get nerfed. Sappers use traps that make farming easy peasy.

Hell the Cleric's heal skill basically puts mines on the field, allies get healed and enemies get damaged. It depends who steps on them. And there is much more.

So it's not so much, "what is good at being damage dealers" , it's how you want to deal your damage.

With the recent nerf of rangers and highlanders for ICBT, I say quarrel shooters are the biggest DPS.

Essentially level Quarrel Shooter to 3, pick up running shot, and destroy shit with autoattacks.

Hoplites and fencers also hit hard, and plague doctors hit hard in addition of being PvP gods.

There are more builds that are interesting without being shit, but those three are the most OP right now.

The token benefits don't matter too much early on since most of the exp you'll be getting at that point will be from the lvl 50/90 dungeons which give so much exp that 20% is almost meaningless and from exp cards, which aren't affected by the token benefits. Once you reach the higher levels (150+) you can make the money to buy another token with 5-6 hours of grinding or by just playing the game normally.

Depends on the skill. Single hit skills with no % based scaling are useless, multihit skills remain useful. For example, Pyromancer's Flame Ground competes with the highest damage skills in the game from later classes in terms of damage per use and Pyro is a rank 2 class.

The 50$ package is an extremely good deal for how much shit they throw in.

Cash shop is mostly cosmetic/quality of life stuff. There's some p2w elements, but you have to spend so much money and the returns are so insignificant compared to what you earn in game at higher levels and the returns are limited by competition from other p2w users that it's overall negligible. Also, the p2w comes in the form of "money = slight power increase". If you spend 100$ on the p2w items and convert them to in-game currency, you could make a high level skill go from 199% dmg to 200% dmg.

It's one of the stronger AoE classes in the game. There are two problems with it though, you need to hit the target you poison to spread the poison to other mobs (fixed by getting Ranger1 for Barrage) and there's a 1+skill level target cap on how many mobs you can poison at a time, which is pretty much always irrelevant if you go Wugushi3.

I played a Wugushi on the korean servers and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to try archer.

deprotect is a measly static reduction and as monk you're not going to get much more spirit so its a fairly useless skill

When you're in OoB for Sadhu your attacks are based off INT and MATK whilst Monk Double punch is based off of STR so Monk and Sadhu combo is not really compatible.

Iron skin only works on melee physical, ranged, elemental and magic is very prevalent at higher levels so this skill is not that useful.

Palm strike and Knife hand have AoE ratios and are on a 15 sec cool down., Knife hand is fine at level 1 for armor debuff. Palm strike, i don't know how useful the bleed is tbh fam.

If you don't spend your skill points at an earlier circle you can save it up for a higher circle of the same class. So you spare points you dump into palm strike can be put elsewhere.

Golden bell is a channel skill, if you're purely soloing then its not useful, but if you're partying it can be great. I'm not sure what level is good though.

Instead of Sadhu, I'd advise the following:

Cleric C2 for better safety zone and divine might (+1 to All skill levels for X amount of uses)

Priest C1 for Aspersion (% Physical Defense Increase)

Blessing (Static Damage Increase, very useful for early-mid game)

Dievdirby C1 for Cooldown reduction, SP recovery and access to Carve Attack(STR) or teleportation statue for levelingtool vs teleportation.

I wanted an archer purely to get the free pet at C3 in early game, but so far looks like nothing synergises with hunter.

C2 archer looks like a must take, if anything for the +25% crit rate on swift step.

But if I ever want to continue that character I'm thinking either sapper c2, falconer, musketeer so I still have some form of AoE while leveling and I won't have to switch weapons around to use musket skills.

Archer2 is great for the extra free crit if you're a pure DEX build (PSA: don't spread your stats between STR, DEX and CON, either go STR/CON or DEX/CON). Sapper2/Falconer/Musketeer is a really strong combo since you get access to Punji/Circling and Snipe/Circling combos and Broom Trap.

For Wugushi, you definitely want to be STR/CON, so getting Archer2 is pointless. Instead, get Ranger1 for Barrage (15 hits, spreads your Wugong Gu extremely easily) and Steady Aim, which is a scaling % buff. Also, Zhendu is one of the worst skills in the game since it doesn't scale at all and it doesn't stack with multiple sources.

Level cap is now 280, they added rank 7. They added an end game area called Earth Tower that the gooks haven't been able to come close to beating yet. Those are the big things.

Exp rates are pretty low now, I'd say it takes 5-6 hours to gain a level in Demon Prison if you're clearing entire rooms super fast.

if you get rogue c2/3 you can use their self buff for an additional 60% crit from behind + 30% crit from backstab attack for guranteed crits

you can also grab musketeer and use snipe from behind or out of stealth for a guranteed crit or 1.5x more damage
