OP here, I can proudly admit I loved the Day of the Tentacle and Sam and Max Hit The Road double disc when it came out. My dad got it for me at a department store for like £10 in the ninties and it was brilliant. It right up there in the list of games I've completed 100% multiple times, with games like Kirby Superstar, Earthbound and Chrono Trigger.
But even though I was a big fan of those games and looking at how terrible and pretentious shitface's work is today, it makes me wonder if the people around him haven't already figured out he's past his prime or if they're that delusional that they think he still has something valuable to contribute to the industry. Even though he's shown at several times already he's completely out of touch with the times and the only categorical reason he's still around is because people keep wasting donating money.
