Hey anons, need help finding a game. It's a pointy clicky from around 2000 I think. I can't remember if it was good but I want to play it again because I think I only played the demo.

You start out driving to some archaeological dig site in new mexico or something, It's just you and a big crevice in the desert. Then you climb down a bit and find some spooky primitive/alien relics and shit. The palette is pretty much orange red and brown with a few blue spots.

Anyone know it?

Was it sprite or polygon-based? I might have an idea as to what it was called, but I can't quite remember.

it was hand painted backgrounds, I think the main character was a sprite, not sure though.

I have a feeling it may never have been released.

The production values were pretty high, I remember seeing some preview in whatever magazine I was reading at the time showing the way they painted the backgrounds (greyscale 3d models with paintovers like in heart of darkness.)

You'd think a game like that would be pretty memorable.
