You can unlock fps through editing the ini file, but while it doesn't speed the game up, it still breaks some animations and possibly collision detection.
With some forced AA game looks palatable enough.
Basically it's the same deal as WOTS4 port-wise, i.e. not ideal, but playable.

4 has a ton of quality of life improvements, but 3 has the better core mechanics.
HEAT system > flat durability
Parry/Match system > Spring Harvest
Titles > Charms
enemy attack/defense tied to their swords > blatant stat inflation
no vitality > vitality
etc.
talk button to pick up items > attack button to pick up items
The only real things WotS4 has over 3 are styles being separate from weapons and side jobs not being mediocre.
also, to give a rundown for people who've only played 4, every WotS besides 4 uses the HEAT system. Your sword has a durability between 0-5, which determines how long your heat bar is. Landing hits, blocking attacks, etc. all raise the bar in varying amounts. It drops over time, but if you max it the end segment shatters and your durability drops by 1. If it hits 0, the sword breaks.
So unlike 4, if you're not a dumbass your sword isn't going to break, and simultaneously breaking enemy swords is a viable tactic.

tap guard on the exact frame an attack connects and you'll parry it. You can do it in any position other than attacking, so you can even do it while being juggled.
do it enough times on a specific move and you'll "Match" it, which means you'll auto parry it if you have auto parry enabled.
This means if you autistically perfect parry every attack in the game over and over you can eventually become effectively invincible. Sucks to be people obsessed with 100% completion though.

I am mentally handicapped instead. I haven't parried once yet, dunno if it's because I'm doing it at the wrong time or pressing it wrong.
Making money in this one also seems to be less easy than in 4, but I'm only just getting the hang on how shit works.

The first two are normal, the second two are DLC (and yes I'm being a cheeky fuck with that last one)
You can also play as any NPC (including generics) after you blunt them once you unlock the option.
