>>2694I've been using the Smok Xpro M35 (upgraded to 45 watts) and I'm pretty happy with it. It's affordable (mine only ran about $45), the battery will last all day if you're not constantly using it, and it has plenty of options for experimenting - being able to fire down to 0.2 ohms and having an optional mech-mode.
I had been waiting on the MVP 3.0, which has a much longer battery life and a USB out so that you can charge other devices off of it. I rarely used that feature on the MVP 2.0, but it's nice to have the option if you're stuck out in the middle of no-where and your cell-phone is dying. The MVP 3 only goes up to 30 watts though, and it's substantially bigger and heavier. It's built like a tank though, and can take some substantial punishment.
Both boxes are regulated, and both have pass-though charging so you can use it while it's plugged in. Even though the charge on the Xpro isn't as long - it has a removable bottom so you can buy spare batteries and have the extra one on the charger. The bottom is kind of a pain in the ass to remove though. The MVP is a sealed unit, IIRC (at least, the 2.0 was) so you have to plug it into a wall outlet when it starts dying.
If you find an Xpro 35 or 50 for a decent price online or at a local shop - make sure it's upgraded. Personally, I've never gone over 25 watts, but if you can get 10 to 15 extra for free, you might as well.
If I was you, I'd go with the Xpro, since it has more power and more options to expand, but it may not be as durable or solidly constructed as the MVP.
>i don't plan on ever upgrading anything anymoreHa ha. Nobody ever does, anon.
