Does Innokin VTR work with Purple 2800mah 18650 Efest batteries?

c23efc No.3303

yes they should work fine at the resistence and amps that thing runs at

Some people say that I shouldn't use protected batteries because the device has the protection in itself, they say that I should use High-Drain IMR batteries instead, what difference does it make?

>>3304

it doesnt

The site prefers unprotected batteries, are you sure?

I don't want the device to blow up on my face when taking a drag.

Oh nevermind, apparently the battery doesn't have a protection.

The shitty site where I ordered it just didn't tell it.

I've seen the vtr used with every damn battery you can imagine, then clone trustfires (apparently that's a thing) its been safe with all of them. Of course I reccomend people buy 30 amp rated batteries like the song or efest 3500, as long as the coil doesn't make your battery use a higher amp rating than what your battery is rated for, you're fine.

>>3333

I'm going to use 2ohm coils.

04b4c8 No.3366

>>3333

The efest is not a 30amp battery

>>3362

If you're going to use a 2.0 coil, you'll be fine with whatever battery you get

3089f8 No.3429

Efest batteries are not to be trusted on their labeling.

I would suggest you restrict your battery use to well known and tested batteries like the LG18650HE2/4, Samsung 18650-25R and the newer LG18650HG2 and Samsung 18650-30Q models.

Even though some Efest batteries are actually good re-wraps, like the 2500Mah 35A version, which is actually an LG18650HE2(20A). They endanger vapers by placing exaggerated specifications on their products.
