So, what's a good way to get started? I'm a bit overwhelmed with the talk about building it and all that, i just want to buy something to get started to see if vaping is actually for me…

I would like to buy something where i can get a decent taste and clouds without the hassle of having to build my self. I would want something that isn't disposable so i can experiment with flavors and so on. I'm fine with both battery powered and rechargeable. Not sure which is better overall and for getting started. I have a somewhat limited budget so i don't want to spend any more than 50€ on the vape/eCig w/e you call the things plus some juice. I don't want nicotine in the juice, since i'm not looking to replace smoking (i'm not a smoker nor have i been)…

Are there any good brands that i should consider or anything like that…? Are there big differences in juices? Also, if possible the place where i buy from should deliver to Finland relatively cheap. And it must deliver to Finland, period. That's where i'm lurking from…

For this you need battery carrier, a 2 rechargeable batteries, a simple charger and a tank.

There are multiple good battery carriers out there that are easy to handle. The most commonly recommended are Joytech eVic. Personally I use a simple Siggelei. Rechargeable batteries are usually included. Prepare for paying at least 80 euros.

tl;dr

The brand as such doesn't matter much. It should hold a normal battery and be easy to use. This one looks promising:

The next thing is the tank. There are multiple brands to choose from. Joytech, Kangertech and Innokin are the most common brands. Personally I recommend the Kangertech Protank 2.

Keep in mind that you have to replace the coils from time to time. Kangertech coils are good for 2 months at maximum.

>Are there big differences in juices?

Yes. The chinese ones are usually cheaply made and not that good. This goes even for Hang Seng, the very enterprise that effectively invented ecigarrettes. I recommend to keep with European juice. Brands I have experience with a Flavorart, Avoria, Inewera and some local brands. I fare very good with inewera. I have tried nicotine bases from all these firms except flavor art as well for I am mixing my liquids myself. As long you chose traditional VP/PG mix, the big differences between juices is usually in taste. Some taste like ass other taste very good, almost like the real thing. There are many firms from the food industry stepping into the market for Eliquid flavors. I recommend you to look if there are some in Finland who exclusively sell their stuff there.

OP here. That's a tad on the pricy side. Would this be any good for starting out? http://www.sauhupuoti.com/fi/aloituspakkaukset/422-pro-ce4-tupla-aloituspaketti-1100mah.html It seems to come with two of the same eCigs…

Also, what do i need to make my own juice? They have some bases for mixing your own here: http://www.sauhupuoti.com/fi/27-nestepohjat They have glyserine and glycerol bases, and some other with some base-flavor already in them… Also, i imagine i would need the needles and the syringe along with the bottles to hold the juice. I can't tell from the picture, but do you generally need to poke your own hole into the top of the bottles or do they have one already? And is there anything else i should know?

>That's a tad on the pricy side.

I know. The advantage of starting out with one of the more expensive battery carriers is first you can easily recharge the batteries, easily replace them and second you are not trapped with with a particular kind of atomizer.

Your starter kit is a very good example of this. If you are heavy smoker, you first easily dry burn the atomizer and second you run out of juice very quickly. The good news is, my Sigelei ZMAX V5 is much cheaper now. The price at the retailer I got from is now 54 euro and 58 euro at the one you are checking out. Sorry about that.

>Also, what do i need to make my own juice?

Nicotine base (in the case of Kangertech and clearomizers go traditional with VPG), some flavor, a plastic syringe without needle and a juice bottle in appropriate size. You can count the drops of the flavor you put into the base instead of measure how many milliliters you are going to put in.

>but do you generally need to poke your own hole into the top of the bottles or do they have one already?

The bottles used for storing your ready mixed juice already have one.

>And is there anything else i should know?

Some flavors tend to wear off atomizers much quicker for some weird reason. The worst one I have found are chocolate flavors. Exotic flavors usually end up being barbecue sauce or something. The best kind you can't go wrong with are tobacco, fruit, some candies and beverages. Try Inawera flavors first. They are pretty OK and sauhupuoti.com seems to be a partner of theirs.

Neat thanks. I'll start saving up some money to get the thing. Also, i'm dumb. There seems to be both English and German versions of the site available. Near the top left corner where there's the flag, if you hover over it opens to display US and German flags as well, to change the language.

Thanks for the help. I'm a little excited to get started. Been thinking about getting to ecigs for months now.

HALOCIGS

www.halocigs.com

Last year I quit analogs vaping with the G6, I bought it because I wanted something to look like a cigarette, their G6 does that work, but has medium vapor production.

I just bought Triton this year, it is bigger, like a Cigar, but man, the battery lasts like 3 days, instead of half a day like the g6, and it produces bigger clouds and takes the most out of the flavours because it uses a tank.

You can buy the battery, a couple of tanks, 5 coil replacements (you will need them each month or two) and a pack of sample flavors for under 50 US dollars.

Their flavors are great, Tribeca is a sweet tobacco flavour, but it is more like candy so I Mix it with Turkish tobacco which is the flavour I like the most from them in the tobacco flavours arena.

Their Malibu flavor is great too, subtle piña colada.

For me the mixture of Tribeca and Turkish tobacco is the best juice I have vaped.

I got a cherry bomber mini, battery, RDA, and charger for under 40$, 35$ to be exact

ignore the autists recommending advanced-tier devices

just go to the fucking local gas station and buy a disposable e-cig, or buy if you want a vape pen, they should have those too like from njoy that is like $25 bucks for a battery, tank, and charger.

This. Don't start your journey with enthusiast tier devices. It's like buying a Hayabusa as your first bike. Or a vintage Triumph.

Basically what this guy said. Depending on what you like you could upgrade to the ever popular istick 30w and Aspire Nautilus pair which will run from 40 to 50 usd.

4b7a5a No.3678

The one cheap way to start is to get a variable wattage temperature controlled mod combined with RTA/RDA combo.

You will otherwise spend more on upgrading to evermore advanced devices until you have a cabinet full of unused vapes.

I'll advise the kangertech subox mini starter kit. It's like 50 dollars on fasttech and a pair of 20A capable 18650 batteries is the price of a pack of cigarettes.

I suggest you go for the samsung 30Qs or LG-HG2s. Both 3000Mah and equally capable of lasting you a full day with your mod at 0,5 Ohm resistance and 25W.

Hey, /vape/, just got a subox nano as a gift. This a good vape to start with?

also how do I refill the damn thing? Ive been following guides, but I can't seem to unscrew the base piece

e4d98e No.3699

>>3696

Figured it out. The part is screwed on too tightly. Gotta take it to a smoke shop and have them remove it

be6a64 No.3701

>>3699

Try putting it in the freezer for 45 minutes and then unscrew it with a pair of rubber gloves or something you can get a good grip with.

I had a Taifun GT a couple of years ago that used to lockup occasionally.

This is a good start and a great way to stay too. I have a mini myself and it's still my favorite of all my atomizers ! You might love it with high VG Juice; don't wanna sound like a shill but i enjoyed every juices from twelves monkeys, especially pic related

e4d98e No.3705

>>3704

Heading to a shop later today. I'll try to find some. Should i try and find a high vg mix or just go pure vg? Also, is there any difference in flavor and hit with low/zero nicotine compared to higher amounts?

>>3701

Probably not a good idea to do with a full tank, but I'll keep it in mind if it happens again. Thanks m8

6b416a No.3712

Pure VG is good for the throat, but if you like your e liquid with savour, you might wanna stay in the pg line. I use 50/50 VG/PG to 90/10 VG/PG and i have never been disgusted by it, the worse juice i tasted where all bellow the 50% PG concentration. Another thing is (i read it somewhere on the internet…) that Propylene Glycol seems to cause allergenic reactions to a relatively small portion of users, that's when i would recommand 100% vg. Personnaly i prefer when there is a little PG in my juice, when there is less than 50% PG concentration i find it very delicious.

Meant to say bellow the 50% VG concentration, or above the 50% PG

So I got some new juice a few days ago, both with something around 80/20 VG/PG, one without nicotine. Wasn't expecting the hit to be so smooth and heavy. I do like it though, thanks for the suggestion. Just gotta remember to get a little nicotine in them though, 0 nicotine makes me a bit lightheaded for some reason.
