you lads dealing with any anti-vaping legislation?

5e6292 No.3801

Where I live:

>juice vendors required to get $500 license every year if juice contains nicotine

>can't be sold within 150 feet of a school or from vending machines

>can't vape anywhere that smoking is prohibited

>can't be sold to anyone under 21

>juice is taxed at $0.20/ml I buy online because fuck that

>juices must be kept behind the counter

5e6292 No.3802

>>3801

also, the adjacent city with a lot of vape shops has a tax of $0.55/ml on juice plus $0.80 "per unit" on juice

Nope. USA.

polfag here. The only anti-vaping legislation we've got so far is it's banned on public transport. We might get a public indoor space ban.

Public transport I can understand, but it should be left up to the discretion of the business owner if they allow vaping in their establishments. I usually won't vape in any place it would be inappropriate to smoke out of courtesy, unless the manager has given me express permission.

>>3802

Is that just for nicotine containing juice, or all juices? How do they reconcile a tax on PG/VG and Flavorings when combined, but don't have the taxes on PG/VG and flavorings independently? How much of a shit-show would it create if they did start taxing PG/VG/Flavorings and had the food and pharmaceutical industries breathing down their necks?

my guess would be its on the books as a luxury tax the same way you get taxed on prepared food in MA but not on ingrediants

>"Liquid Nicotine Product” means: (1) any electronic cigarette containing liquid, gel, or other solution that contains nicotine; and (2) any other container of liquid, gel, or other solution where the liquid, gel, or other solution (i) contains nicotine and (ii) is intended to be utilized in an electronic cigarette. The term “liquid nicotine product” does not include any product regulated by the United States Food and Drug Administration under Chapter V of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, 21 U.S.C. § 301 et seq.

It only applies to liquids that contain nicotine.

Donald Trump Nabs Key Endorsement From Vaping Congressman

>Representative Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.), thevaping congressman in the pocket of big vape, today blew a sick cloud of e-ndorsement over the Donald Trump campaign.

>Hunter tells The Politico that he likes Trump in part because he’s sure Trump doesn’t care about him at all, which seems as good a reason as any to support him.

>Hunter, who got his first job in politics when he took over his father’s congressional seat in 2012, says he’s liked Trump from the beginning—if you can ever believe it.
