Old 26g parallel @ .2 ohms that I built on my nemesis/tobh. I've outgrown it in favor of my FUhattan and Mutation X.

Honestly it sounds dumb, but I haven't even tried cotton yet. I've been building for a few months and this is the first thing I bought after looking at wicking material. I need to pick up some more wick, so I think I'll grab cotton and probably compare the two.
I absolutely love the ekowool, but I really can't compare it to anything!

>>80When you try cotton, any brand of 'organic' stuff is fine, but boil it for about fifteen minutes then wash it with cold water for a few minutes and let it dry overnight (or with a hair dryer if you're desperate). It'll taste funky for a while afterwards if you don't. Also, fully (and I mean FULLY) saturate the wicks with liquid almost to the point of overfilling the deck, and then saturate them some more. There will be a slight cotton taste for a few hits, but once some liquid's been cycled through it for a while it'll even out.
Also testing trip for no real reason.

>>130It's a parallel 28. For parallel super nano (which is what I have) you just need to make sure you have a tight grip on whatever you're wrapping around. It doesn't really need to look pretty, as long as it burns even you're good

My coil for the kayfun. Just changed it after 5 months of using the same build.
Two twisted with a drill 28 gauge kanthal a1 wires. 8 wraps around 2.1 syringe needle. ~1.2 ohms
I had small problem with a fine switch in the nemesis so put my old microcoil in the negative screw well thing and it works fine.
Vaping my homemade juice shit is cash.

I have a few questions that are somewhat related to coils so I'm just going to put them here.
1. Is it possible to rebuild Kanger's upgraded dual coils?

2.Is it possible to rebuild previously dual coil as single coil?
ex)rebuilding protank 3 mini(which is a dual coil) as single coil
3.In dual coil setups, the total resistance is half the resistance of each coil.
They don't seem to be selling 3.6ohm coil bundles on fasttech (I want 1.8ohm)
Does this mean I have to make my own coils?
4.In RTAs, do they use silica wicks more often than cotton?

2. Yes, it's even better in my opinion because rebuilding it dual coil style is even harder than single coil.
3. 3.6 ohm is wayyyy to high. You really should make your own coils as they always perform better than the premade ones.
4. I guess silica wicks are a thing from the past. Nowadays nearly everyone uses cotton, or ekowool (whatever that is). Silica is not bad but cotton is better for the majority of vapers.

I reckon using thinner wire on a quad build would allow it to heat up faster, but the performance would be about the same. I've found that quads kill my batteries faster.
Go 26650 if you're dead set on quads and you won't have to change batteries or re-drip every 3 pulls

but yeah the lemo is a good start, get that and some kanthal and cotton or whatever you wick with and have at it.
