A couple of them are outdated though (Myanmar and Libya, for example).

There's https://github.com/flaghunters/Extra-Flags-for-4chan which already has most relevant regional flags done. I'd add them to be used on this board, but there's still that 256 flag limit.

Now, if anyone wants, I can speed this up, and also make the missing flags to fill in the gaps.

Please tell me this is true. I haven't seen any such discussion apart from the thread I started about selfishly wanting a unique flag for Kamensk-Uralsky, which is where I live, but it's a city so you can't possibly be talking about that thread? I still wish that, it would give me a rare flag. ::^^^^^)))))

Holy shit, we need someone from Tibet to post on /intl/ or /int/ to see if it actually works. But, I have never seen a Tibetan poster. There was an anon who said that he was near Tibet but not in Tibet once but that's the closest I have seen… Come to think of it, does Tibet even have Internet?

I can do the ones for Russia provided that Kamensk-Uralsky gets a unique flag that I get to design myself because I want a rare flag that badly. Yes. :::::^^^^^^^^)))))))))))

I am talking about that thread. In fact, it draws from a dream of mine (an impossible one) to post using the flag of the Soviet Union. Not a communist or anything, but the domain .su still exists so I wanted to try it.

I think it would be a good idea to start this with the United States, seeing as how most people are familiar with it and it's states already.

There seem to be three things to do

1. Divide the IP range for the US into IP ranges corresponding to its 50 states and territories. Make each state still use the US flag.

2. Add the flags of the 50 states and territories of the US to the flag roster

3. Reassign the IP ranges for the US states and territories to the new flags, from the US one

I am not code literate and know very little of how to actually do this. But I think 8chan would be indebted to us (assuming you'd like to join in in this endeavour) for making this happen to some degree.

Your thoughts? Help would be much appreciated
