Myself, I would rather make that custom flags, because there's a lot of awesome historical flags that people might want to use.

Tell me which flags I should include: probably Prussia, Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, HRE, and Roman Empire are a must… I could also just "borrow" the flags already at /his/ and build from there.

Okay, I'll be adding flags over the next week, right now it's just forced "Anonymous" flag.

How should I handle the "Heraldry" part though? One option is using banners-of-arms (flags with the same design as the coat-of-arms), but some countries have emblems that aren't proper coats-of-arms; pics related.

Btw if you need any more religions tell me, I had Flags for them listed too (but not for their denominations, like those of Buddhism or Zoroastrianism).

Originally created those for /christian/, proposed on /islam/ too, only generic Jewish, Muslim and Athiest (with added Agnostics) was picked.

Actually I already set the board to require a flag for all posts, and I already use a question mark flag (see mine). I don't know why some posts appear without a flag, could be because of posting from a phone app. You shouldn't be able to pick no flag. Maybe I should ask copypaste about it, but he seems to be busy recently. (I haven't seen him respond to anything but recent /intl/ spamming drama)
