Join defense missions in progress and leech XP and drops off the more advanced players. Ask in-thread for a sponsor. Powerleveling is possible in Warframe.
Suck it up when pubbing, if you can't out kill them just follow along collecting drops, XP, and spamming your warframe abilities. look at some videos and learn advanced movement, coptering, touch and go, slide flipping. get your MR to 2, get a rhino, and you'll have no trouble getting the rest of the content.
Warframe isn't like some games with exponential grind to proceed, the amount of grind is very clear, and even grinding for prime parts is far more tolerable than many F2P games.
When you hit MR4, join WBP. Sure, we're raging assholes, but hey, we're channers.

It's still all kinds of fucky for soloing and a slog to get to the fun stuff BUT if you get taxi'd around you can generally make a meaningful contribution with your powers IF you know when to use them, especially if you play Excal and learn when to drop Radial Blind. You'll also get a fuckton of mods and level up REALLY fast that way.
The real thing that makes newb experience suck so much is the Mk1 weapons and lack of the essential mods. Once you get to a regular weapon (vanilla Braton, Lex for a secondary, etc) and pick up redirection, vitality, and a few damage mods you start doing respectable DPS on anything under about level 25ish and are a LOT less squishy.
