Hyrule Warriors mixes the hack-and-slash gameplay of Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors series of bideo games with the settings and characters from Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series.

Characters are unlocked via story mode, adventure mode, or DLC

Story: Link, Zelda, Lana, Impa, Sheik, Darunia, Midna, and Fi.

Adventure: Ruto, Agitha, Zant, and Ghirahim.

DLC: Cia, Volga, and Wizro
